A Christmas Carol is a 1999 holiday film based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens about a man named Ebenezer Scrooge who hates Christmas. Therefore, the ghost of his deceased work partner Jacob Marley shows up at his house and warns him that if Scrooge doesn't change his ways, he will end up facing the consequences in his afterlife. Scrooge gets haunted by three ghosts that represent time (The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Future) in order to prevent that from happening and his life taking a dramatic turn. The film was released in theaters in December 1999.
