Abel City is a city from Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. The Maverick Hunters headquarters is located in this city.

It was only seen when X and Zero escorted Jet, Trudy, Faye, and the Pokémon Trainers to their homebase. Jet was impressed with the advanced technical setting contrary to most of the planet devastated by meteors or being archaic like most Earthlings. The Mavericks welcomed the heroes, and they knew of the oncoming Red Dragons War on Mars. They offered them a place to stay even preparing the Reploids for equipment and sundries.
Later on, X and Zero offered Jet, Trudy, and Faye to stay while the Trainers went back to say goodbye to their regional friends. Edward, Ein, and her family soon visited there, much to the dismay of the Maverick Hunters. And it was revealed their job was cartography and defending the world from meteors after Sigma was defeated in the Final Weapon.
Soon came Victoria and Zeros as well; as she and her trucking business was on hold, she decided to function as one of the logistics. By the time the 24 hours were up, all the special forces lifted off from the mechanical landing pad and there were no incidents as they headed thru the dark gateways to the Red Planet.
It was stationed in a distant location in northern Japan.
