Aerodactyl (Japanese: プテラ Putera) is a Rock/Flying-type Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation I that is resurrected from an Old Amber fossil.

Aerodactyl was one of the best Pokémon in the team that traversed thru the Fire Temple. He was versatile, fast, and used as a last resort against Volvagia, resisting his fire and his rockslides since he stood a better chance than Charizard and Moltres.
The ReBoot Multiuniverse[]
Aerodactyl was with Kabutops as Bob and Matrix investigated Megaframe; his name was Ridley, and he stuck around during the liberation of Mainframe. He stuck with Akari, Meganium and Venusaur when they were going to save Bob from Hex's captor, although the Guardian didn't want them to delete her. So, they reluctantly backed down, and Ridley was Akari's transport to gather the remaining sundries from the Stadium before the system crash. A spacecraft user interrupted their journey to the Principal Office, until AndrAIa's craft distracted it long enough to be shot down and soon escorted by the Crimson Binome.
