With Duncan telling Mademoiselle Fraise she'll need to wait a while for her repair. When Destinee finally pays and leaves, Duncan follows her and asks her "Why the Rush?" When Destinee goes back inside and once again speaks with Fraise, who mocks her again. Upon turning around to walk away, Destinee says it's common snooty behavior from upper aristocrats like her, Fraise says it's what she loves about her town, contrasting it with the traveling circus clowns who aren't funny to her, just stupid. One of the ghost children is Emily, who died under circumstances that involved jealousy and neglect, making her form able to turn monstrous when angered. Emily is only able to eat paper and leaves as a result. After coming back to life and coming to rescue Duncan and has her friends she met on the journey help her prove his innocence she reveals who she is to the entire town- part of the D'Arcy family. After he is proven innocent, Destinee returns the necklace to Fraise and goes back to her family, who said they sold everything they had to someone who had bought it all. meaning they had to move from their home to be servants in theirs. Knowing she can't go back to the life she used to live, Destinee still remains confident she can continue her "amazing journey" even further.

Reception[]

Though it has not been released to the public, it has received as less than stellar in test readings, so it is unlikely a sequel will be made.
