Ampharos (Japanese: デンリュウ Denryuu) is a Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It has a Mega Evolution form which is a Electric/Dragon-type.

Ampharos was found imprisoned within the Gerudo cells along with the other Electric Types and Carpenters. That was until Link was able to knock some sense into Shakir and the bridge was reconstructed. Ampharos was vital, even when he used his bright lights to guide thru the endless sandstorm or paralyzing enemies in the Spirit Temple, including being an evasive brute against the Iron Knuckles. He was chosen as one of Nabooru's spies and later her guardian.

Ampharos was trapped in a Game surrounded by radical energy and preventing the Mega Truck on reaching the Principal Office.
Recessional of the Red Dragons[]
Ampharos was one of April's Pokémon. He was lucky he never used his lights to attract enemies, although his sparks helped the other rodents disable the deadly minefield, his Mega Evolution was on par against the Red Eye enhancements, and his was able to paralyze, shock enemies, and turn up the heat at Olympus Mons!
