Andrea Bocelli is an Italian classical crossover tenor, musician, recording artist and singer-songwriter. Born with poor eyesight, following a football accident, he became permanently blind at the age of 12. He has recorded and released 14 studio albums and in 2000 he received a Grammy for his song "The Prayer", a duet with Celine Dion. His song, "Time To Say Goodbye", a duet with Sarah Brightman, topped the charts across Europe and his 1997 album Romanza became the best selling album by an Italian artist to date.

He voiced himself in an episode of Oliver and Company:The Series.

On the Italian and Australian release of The Quest for Beasts movie Rise of Babylon, he performed the song Se Potessi Volare Sulle Ali D'oro (If You Could Fly On Golden Wings), a duet with New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra.
