Production[]
A Angry Birds and Rio special was planned in the work by the time Angry Birds Rio: Wings of Hope was in production. It was suppose to be a Christmas special and staled to be released in 2019, but delayed to 2020, then later at the start of 2021. It was no longer a Christmas special due to the delays and is now reworked into a Winter Festival special. The Christmas elements remain unchanged despite the delays.
