Chapter 5 is the fifth chapter of Angry Birds Rio: Wings of Hope written by MarioFan65.

This chapter is called "Setting Up Vacation".

Plot[]

(The next morning in the Amazon Rainforest on the Spix's Macaw tribe, Red and Blu's flock are sleeping while the kids including the Blues are up while holding a massive spider that crawls down to Blu)

  • Tiago: *whisper while holding the spider using it's web attached to a piece of wood* This is going to be funny. *chuckles*
  • Jim: *whisper* I know, right?
  • Red: *yawns* It's just one of those days.
  • Chuck: *yawns* Man, is it time for my morning run?
  • Bomb: *yawns* Thank gosh, I didn't explode last night for a boom.
  • Matilda: Go take a shower while you're at it, Bomb.
  • Blu: *sleep* Is it still dark yet? *a spider scratch him* Aw. That tickles. Honey, stop it. You're giving me the bed bites. *open his eyes* Huh? *scream from the spider* Ah! *kick the spider while the kids laugh* Kids! You got me this time.
  • Tiago: Morning dad.
  • Jim: Wakie wakie.
  • Blu: Very funny kids. *shake* Don't you ever prank me while waking up ever again!
  • Bia: It's funny, right?
  • Carla: *hit Bia* No it's not. It's not funny.
  • Jake: It is to us.
  • Jay: Last time, we pranked the birds with a bucket of water over cotton candy.
  • Jewel: Honey, you scared us.
  • Blu: How did I scared you and everyone? The kids done it again this time.
  • Jewel: They were just having fun.
  • Blu: Bummer. One day when they grow to become teenagers, imagine all the eggs being thrown at you, paint being splatted on you and some booby traps set up to make you fall like rats and rodents.
  • Rafael: I was a teenager once. All I did is prank a warthog over grubs, mistaking it for rice and beans.
  • Blu: You're very early to catch the worm or else a boar will eat your whole dinner up.
  • Red: Morning sunshine. Hope that spider didn't bit you on the back.
  • Blu: What a prank. That spider tried to bit me on the beak like last time.
  • Nico: Jungle things, huh?
  • Pedro: Staying in the groove.
  • Eduardo: Morning. Or should I say "afternoon"?
  • Blu: Morning, sir.
  • Eduardo: Our days here in the jungle, they start early.
  • Stella: Why do you guys start so early when one of us is sleeping around that time?
  • Eduardo: Before the sun's up, we watch over the tribe to see any hunter or logger try to get into our tribe to cut up some trees for some wood. Last time, they try to cut the whole rainforest apart while we take all of their machines down. Hope it won't happen ever again.
  • Roberto: Bro, you are still the bird and guarding through these gates.
  • Eduardo: Do not call me bro!
  • Roberto: Why not? You know, like partners, face to face and treating like brothers. You know I mean?
  • Eduardo: On this tribe when I'm around. You call me sir, okay?
  • Roberto: Okay, sir.
  • Jewel: I don't think daddy likes being called by many names.
  • Mimi: It's kinda of a uncle thing here.
  • Blu: *brush his mouth with an electric toothbrush* All clean, fresh breath from the inside.
  • Luiz: *wake up* Oh boy, oh boy. We're just getting started.
  • Hal: It's a new day in the new world.
  • Bubbles: There's always light in the morning.
  • Jewel: Ready for a morning flight in the jungle?
  • Eduardo: We're going to have to wake everyone up to start their tasks.
  • Red: We have tasks to do in the tribe?
  • Eduardo: Yes my friend. Every morning, we strive for the tribe and do our latest chores I offer them to do. For example, Lily hunt for the berries and drop them in the food pile every day while Michael bring in the leaves to set up the gates for better camouflage protection.
  • Blu: What about the Herry guy that take all the Brazil nuts and deliver it to us back home?
  • Eduardo: *sign* Herry doesn't do that anymore.
  • Blu: Why not?
  • Eduardo: It been a long story a while back and I don't wanna talk about it. You know what you did wrong.
  • Blu: What was wrong? What did I do?
  • Chuck: Ooooh, you are getting busted.
  • Blu: Oh come on. Eduardo said to not talk about it.
  • Eduardo: That's right. Herry now find bird seeds for us to eat as a proper snack like all the pet birds around the world that we don't care for, like you Blu.
  • Blu: I was a pet. And now, I'm a free bird.
  • Eduardo: Very funny, mister. Now let's go take a flight around the flight.
  • Blu: Okie dokie, chokie dokie sir. If you ask me.
  • Eduardo: You always call me sir, okay?! Now move along! *fly with the family*
  • Blu: Why does he always have to be that serious?
  • Red: His attitude has been like that ever since we got here.
  • Blu: *hold Red* I know. It's just one of these days of working with the tribe.
  • Jewel: Come on Blu. Get your morning air going!
  • Blu: I'll be there! As long the heat waves doesn't stop me on a sun burn. *fly while holding Red* Last one there is a skeleton leaf.

(The background song "Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My)" by Matoma plays as Red and Blu's flock left the tree home to take a morning flight by waking everyone up and start doing their chores ordered from the tribe)

  • Eduardo: Morning my friends! Let's get our wings going and start doing your chores!
  • Spix's Macaw #1: Ah man. A new day.
  • Spix's Macaw #2: Green light means go, right?
  • Spix's Macaw #3: Let's do what our boss order us to do.
  • Blu: What a day. It seems that everyone is up for the day.
  • Jewel: We're always up in the morning to start the day.
  • Red: Do you guys follow your schedule on what to do?
  • Blu: Nah. No need for a schedule. The leader tell us what to do on the job when we're working.
  • Chuck: It's like waking up at seven in the morning.
  • Bomb: It feels like seven already.
  • Rafael: I wonder what the tribe is gonna do on a morning daily basic.
  • Tiago: Eat waffles, make pancakes and cook French toast?
  • Jewel: No human things Tiago. We have to work what the tribe always do in the wild.
  • Tiago: Aw. I haven't ate a human breakfast in a month.
  • Blu: It's okay Tiago. You're still a part of the fanny pack after all.
  • Tiago: As long we get to do more human things back in our old home.
  • Blu: Let's get to work.
  • Red: Can't hold up my expectations.

(Many Spix's Macaws brush their mouths with some leaves as well the birds are putting clay into their mouths in much of Red and Blu's disgust)

  • Red: Aw, yuck. Who eat these things?
  • Blu: I just brush my mouth. I don't want to have bad breath and go to the dentist for a week.
  • Mimi: Come on boys. Clay is good for your digestion. Try some. *put clay into Red and Blu's mouth*
  • Red: I can't talk with my mouth full.
  • Blu: It's all over me.
  • Chuck: Clay is really good. *eat clay and spit it out* Disgusting!
  • Bomb: Worse than eating tuna on a sandwich.
  • Jewel: You guys don't have to spit it out if you don't like it.
  • Chuck: Sorry.
  • Nico: Do people really eat those things?
  • Pedro: I thought clay is for making sculptures, not to eat with like Play-Doh.
  • Rafael: Awkward.

(Many Spix's Macaw use a bow and arrow to shoot spears at the fruits and grab the fruits in order to place them into the pile with Red and Blu's flock throw spears at the fruits with the fruits dropping by on the leaf pile)

  • Blu: Alright! I got my jungle hunting movement going.
  • Red: I can't even shoot on these things.
  • Chuck: We're special. We're not made to shoot. We're made to launch.
  • Jewel: You gotta do what you gotta do boys. The tribe isn't going to slow you down on shooting the most food you can.
  • Red: Oh great. That's just plain awful.

(In the meantime at the park, Rafael throw some bones to Luiz to chew on while the birds build many statues of the macaws made out of log sticks)

  • Rafael: Catch Luiz! *throw a bone at Luiz*
  • Luiz: *catch a bone* I got a twisted bone!
  • Rafael: Very great! You got it.
  • Luiz: I wonder how bones are made in factories other than getting a bone off a dead animal. Eh.
  • Red: *show a statue of himself to the birds* Birds, say hello to me!
  • Blu: Whoa. That's very cool Red. It's like you gotten yourself a statue from the legends of the tribe.
  • Jewel: Very funny Blu. One day, you're going to be famous and earn a shiny gold medal out of your name.
  • Blu: It's only a couple of years, okay? I'll be dead when the new legends started coming in.
  • Bomb: If my name were Bobby, would you ask about my hobbies.
  • Matilda: Hmm, very clever.
  • Bomb: Or if my name were Judas, would you ask me what my mood is?
  • Stella: Exploding on boxes?
  • Bomb: No. Not just that. I laugh, I cry, I love, I hate. I do so much more than detonate. Think of it.
  • Matilda: That was beautiful. You're gonna make me cry. *cries*
  • Red: Yeah, that was some real clever symbolism.
  • Stella: Is that a poem you made?
  • Bomb: It is a poem. You're correct.
  • Matilda: *shred a tear* I know it really is.
  • Tiago: Cool story. You got anymore stories to tell?
  • Bomb: Huh? No. Not at the moment. I'm sorry.
  • Tiago: Why not?
  • Bomb: We have work to do. Not at this time.
  • Tiago: Okay. Just asking.

(Red and Blu's flock fly through the jungle while passing by dolphins in the lake and frogs in lily's pads trying to catch the birds with their tongues)

  • Blu: Whoa! Take it easy!
  • Red: Not on the beak you frogs!
  • Eduardo: We learned how to dodge and defend from yesterday. It's all part of the training!
  • Jewel: You're doing it guys. Come on! You're going great!
  • Nico: This is like racing in a obstacle course.
  • Pedro: You said it best cause, we're flying all the way to the lake!
  • Rafael: We're getting there. Make some waves!
  • Blu: Waves? What waves?
  • Red: Like going underneath the water?
  • Blu: I know how it done. *go into the water and ride up* Yeah! I pass the water!
  • Red: Aw, man! You got us all wet!
  • Eduardo: Way a go water boy! You're passing more goals than ever! I'm very proud of you.
  • Blu: Thanks, sir. You see me flying backwards, do you?
  • Red: Not very impressive.
  • Eduardo: You make one big wind swirl there, Louie.
  • Blu: It's Blu.
  • Eduardo: Blu. Whatever. I still like you anyways.
  • Blu: I'm on a roll! *spin around*
  • Red: *groans* If I had wings, I'll compete your fluffy feathers off the course!
  • Stella: Show some respect Red. You're going to get there.
  • Red: You know every time I compete in a race, my name never get credited or mentioned.
  • Jewel: It stinks to be you, dude.
  • Red: Ugh. Funny people these days.

(The background song end as we head back to Rio de Janeiro in a jungle where the marmosets wake up along King Pig and Nigel's army as Nigel force all the marmosets including Mauro to finish setting up their fortress)

  • Mauro: Ah. The heavens, the bananas, the harmony. Is it paradise yet?
  • Nigel: Not yet! You still have work left to do on the job. So move along and continue constructing my fortress!
  • Mauro: Aye yai-yai. Why do you always have to be so picky! *call out his group to continue working on the fortress*
  • Gabi: They're never going to live on a happily ever after.
  • Nigel: No worries Gabi. I have some flying lessons for them to take if they fail me one more time.
  • King Pig: You're going to make them fly like birds, are they?
  • Nigel: Of course, they will.
  • Foreman Pig: But Nigel. The birds don't fly, but shoot themselves out of their slingshots.
  • Nigel: Not a slingshot. You're thinking about the birds in your world. In my world, the birds fly, especially all the pretty birds that overthrown me into the spotlight and dump me all the way to the trash! I will pursue revenge that take down all my awards and trophies caused by all the birds in the world!
  • Ross: Are you okay Nigel?
  • Nigel: Yes I am okay. Do I look like a idiot to you?
  • Ross: Uh, no?
  • King Pig: *hit Ross* You know better.
  • Ross: But I didn't do anything. All of us were sitting and doing nothing for the whole day.
  • Foreman Pig: We're lucky to take a break from work and order these lazy monkeys to work on our new fortress to take down all the birds in the world.
  • Chef Pig: It's always a recipe cooked for disaster. *laugh* Ha ha ha, I love the smell of fear in the morning.
  • King Pig: Someone is gonna be slipped by a rotten banana today.
  • Nigel: *land on King Pig's crown* We'll see about that until the monkeys and birds go out sniff, stinky and mediocre. *laugh*

(Back at the Amazon Rainforest in the Spix's Macaw tribe, many Spix's macaws are working in the trees while eating some fruits while Red and Blu's flock sit on the logs and watch over the river with a glimpse of a waterfall)

  • Red: Day two of living in the tribe. Thought you would get myself wet on training, *hit Blu* didn't you?
  • Blu: Okay. I'm sorry. You don't have to get angry over a apology. I was told to go into the water.
  • Eduardo: It was me. We didn't mean to. We should have been more careful to not dive these bodiless birds into the water since they're not born with wings and legs.
  • Chuck: Neither is lacking wings on our appearance.
  • Red: It sucks to be a head, right brother? *Terence growl at him* Are we speaking telepathically or you're just... Good talk. Nice chatting with you.
  • Roberto: So, what are you going to do while hanging out in the Amazon?
  • Red: We don't know what we're gonna do. We still haven't set up any plans yet since we got here a day ago.
  • Roberto: I thought you were having fun. You even hunt down the fruits and made statues out of log sticks.
  • Red: It haven't been great ever since day one. The pigs try to take our eggs, reach to their fortress to fight, then a light suddenly warp us over to your world and the birds took the eggs away from us. We're a lost case after all.
  • Chuck: Don't be ashamed. At least, we got plenty of good time together in the jungle, right?
  • Red: The jungle feel a bit itchy than the one in our world.
  • Mimi: Look at you. You feel sad, scared, confused. I'll give you a hug! *hug Red*
  • Red: Wait, no, stop.
  • Mimi: You little apple bird. You are so poofy as a pillow.
  • Jewel: Aunt, stop hugging him. You're making him nervous.
  • Mimi: Sorry. Just excited. *stop hugging Red*
  • Red: *spit out feathers* Poof! So many cooties.
  • Rafael: What it's like to stay in the Amazon more than the beach?
  • Chuck: Who live in the beach? I thought we live in trees.
  • Blu: We used to live in a beach back in our old home.
  • Jewel: I thought you were from Minnesota.
  • Blu: Oh, right. In Minnesota, it was snowy in here. No bird would ever feel the cold while I was inside, taking care of Linda's business.
  • Jewel: Then you came over to Rio where you met me on a aviary to attempt falling in love.
  • Blu: Uh? Eh? It wasn't love at first sight when we met. We were just getting along.
  • Jewel: Getting along? No. You even got us birdnapped when we were stuck in a cage.
  • Blu: All is history. The rest is over. The end.
  • Bomb: You don't want to tell us more about how you and Jewel were getting together?
  • Jewel: It been a long story. We were chained up on our toes when we were trying to escape.
  • Luiz: I did all the hard work to get the chains off their toes at the garage.
  • Rafael: You did what you did to make them free in the wild.
  • Luiz: It's really a easy piece of cake like a piece of dog food.
  • Bubbles: Is Rio the name of a person or is it a place like Easter Island?
  • Blu: Rio is a place. It's also known as Rio de Janeiro, meaning River of January.
  • Hal: Rio is made on the River of January? Is that what the place is called?
  • Blu: I know the name sounds funny. But it's not meant to take the name too seriously like Mississippi having the most four letters than any name on a place.
  • Nico: Mississippi? You mean like, "Am I, S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I?" Mississippi!
  • Pedro: No. You got it all wrong it's "M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I".
  • Nico: I thought the world take the Mississippi name too seriously?
  • Nico: Eh, forget it. We're better off making fun of Rio's name than Mississippi's name.
  • Pedro: Hey, how about we plan a trip to go to Rio for one day? How about that?
  • Blu: Wait, we're going to Rio?
  • Red: No way. You got to be kidding us.
  • Eduardo: You're planning to go to Rio for one day, are you?
  • Jewel: Yeah. We wanted to see the cities, the beach and the jungles to where we grew up in.
  • Rafael: We got friends back there and we want to introduce to all of our friends in the jungle!
  • Luiz: How many to name?
  • Rafael: A lot.
  • Chuck: If you guys are going to Rio, does that mean, we're all going?!
  • Blu: Yes, we, as a flock, will be going to Rio together for one day to take a look at the whole view of the world.
  • Chuck: Yes! We're going somewhere else.
  • Bomb: To the River of January!
  • Tiago: We're going back where we came from!
  • Bia: Woo hoo!
  • Carla: It feels like we're going back to where we grew up in.
  • Luiz: Viva la Rio, baby!
  • Red: Hold on! We're leaving the tribe when we're suppose to stay in the tribe and got few problems to deal with like trying to claim the eggs and finding a way back home?! We are not going without the eggs!
  • Eduardo: They are free to go! You're not from the tribe and you can go anywhere you want without causing a anger problem.
  • Red: No, no, no! We are not going to Rio! We are staying here and that's it!
  • Chuck: Come on Red. Don't you want to go to Rio to see all the rivers, the cities and what the music they play that we don't know about?
  • Rafael: You know, like samba. With a popular dance, like Zumba.
  • Chuck: Zumba!
  • Blu: Oh, you're going to like it in Rio. They got a lot of birds, cool places, many tourism for travelers from other places and tico-taco ya-ya-ya.
  • Red: Tico-taco-cho-cho? Is that what they say in a lyric in all the samba classes they take?
  • Blu: They always sing in Zumba and samba classes. The chorus too.
  • Rafael: Even the people that perform at carnival.
  • Red: At carnival? Like what do you mean? A circus full of animals?
  • Rafael: Not that circus full of animals. A parade full of celebration and balloon floats.
  • Nico: No wonder why they call it carnival like going to a fair with fun and games.
  • Pedro: Very awkward like calling a barn, a farm.
  • Chuck: We gotta pack up for Rio!
  • Blu: Pack up? I thought we dump all of our human things since we moved here.
  • Jewel: We store all of our human things in the storage cave. Come on.
  • Blu: What? Really? Even our GPS? Am I dreaming?
  • Red: *hit Blu* No you're not. This is a reality thing, not a fantasy land like a world full of candy.
  • Blu: Take a chill seed, Red. There's no rush at all.
  • Red: Not trying to rush you on the plan of packing.
  • Eduardo: Let's see what things and stuff we store in the cave.

(At the storage cave, many Spix's macaws pick up certain items on the cave as Red and Blu's flock show up to pick up their certain items needed for the trip as well some silverware and devices)

  • Red: So this is where we store all the wild things, including the human things.
  • Blu: Yes. We store all the human things back here while we go out and live with the wild.
  • Eduardo: Feel free to look into your stuff. There is no rush at all.
  • Blu: Okay. All we need is to pack some items and head out to the land of Rio. *look at the silverware* Spoons, forks, knives, sporks. Every plastic silverware ever. *trip some knives* Oops.
  • Jim: *he and the kids are shocked by the knives* Ah!
  • Tiago: Aw. *fall down*
  • Carla: Tiago, they're just silverware.
  • Tiago: But the knives kill people.
  • Bia: You watch too much scary movies, do you.
  • Rafael: No kid is allowed to watch scary movies. At all times! Ever!
  • Jay: You're right. We're a bit young.
  • Jake: Too young to watch mature movies.
  • Jewel: Guys, stop messing around with the items and just pick any you want for the trip.
  • Tiago: Mind as well not touch a dangerous item.
  • Nico: *hold some mint floss* Ooh. Smells like mint.
  • Pedro: *hold a toothpaste* Who store toothpaste on the cave?
  • Luiz: *chew on a bone* Man, I knew this place got a bone to chew on.
  • Chuck: You got everything in a jackpot!
  • Bomb: Where did you find this stuff?
  • Blu: I grew up with the human things for all my life and for my mate and kids, few years.
  • Jewel: Few years isn't that bad except when we chew on those gummy bears and worms.
  • Mimi: *hold some cottons* How many cottons do you have to store?
  • Roberto: No crackers, no pretzels, all clear.
  • Blu: You don't like crackers and pretzels?
  • Roberto: Don't even ask. I freak out when I see them around.
  • Mimi: You don't even have to see some crackers as you can just ignore them.
  • Roberto: Then they're not my type or thing.
  • Blu: *pick up a GPS* Whoa, is that a GPS?
  • Jewel: How long you had it inside for?
  • Blu: It been a while since I haven't use my GPS. I'm glad the tribe still kept my GPS somewhere.
  • Red: What's a GPS?
  • Blu: A GPS stand for Global Positioning System. A satellite-based radio navigation system owned by the United States government and operated by the United States Space Force.
  • Chuck: The GPS work with the United States government and space force and control everything while going around the world?
  • Blu: Huh? The GPS is like a map. It's support to inform you on where you're going. If I turn this thing on, then it will locate on where we are.
  • Jewel: Are you sure that GPS still work? It been sitting here ever since we moved in.
  • Blu: Please, GPS. Turn on. I know you can hear me. *turn on the GPS*
  • GPS Voice: Hello there. You are now in the Rainforest of the Amazon.
  • Blu: Yes! It still works!
  • Jewel: It still got the lady voice on the device.
  • red: Do we really trust that lady on the inside?
  • Blu: Yes. Oh boy, we're taking this GPS on the go when we get to the one and only Rio.
  • GPS Voice: Searching for Rio de Janeiro.
  • Blu: We know how to get home, lady. No need to ask for directions while we know the way back.
  • Red: This voice recognition thingamajigger is really foolproof. You think it's worth a thousand eggs to get all the way to the River of Rio? Let me try. *commands the GPS* Hey GPS, why does the chicken cross the road?
  • GPS Voice: The chicken cross the road because, it passes many car on the cars as well, the chicken flying away off the store's deli.
  • Red: Seriously? How can you say the answer when you know why the chicken cross the road?
  • GPS Voice: Iconic joke. Now transiting for Top 10 Funniest Jokes in Texas.
  • Red: Ugh! I don't know a person named Texas!
  • Blu: It's a place, and a state like New Mexico.
  • Jewel: The original or the new one shaped as a square?
  • Blu: Every state in a country is cut up in lines like a pizza slice.
  • Rafael: It's gonna be a long journey to get to Rio.
  • Blu: I know. We better get packing for the big trip. *pack his stuff to the bag*
  • Red: Make sure you don't drop the bag or your GPS lady on the way to Rio.
  • Blu: I will and I promise.
  • Red: You will, you can, you trust. Pinky promise?
  • Blu: You don't have wings, but okay. Pinky promise. *pat on Red*
  • Eduardo: One of you guys do the announcement back at the main area.
  • Blu: I will do the honors. I mean, *clear throat* announcement!
  • Eduardo: Announcement, whatever your speech is called.
  • Luiz: We'll be bygones when we leave the Amazon and go back to Rio to visit our old friends.
  • Blu: I'm very emotional to go back to the biggest home of all time.
  • Jewel: You're very excited.
  • Blu: You know I am.
  • Jewel: I wonder what everyone is going to say about us going to Rio for a day.

(As Red and Blu's flock pack their items in the bag, the flock head outside of the Spix's Macaw tribe to make a announcement in front of the Spix's Macaws and guardians as well their fellow friends like frogs, groundhogs and turtles)

  • Eduardo: People of the tribe, may Blu speak to all of you guys for a quick special announcement.
  • Blu: Thank you sir. *clears throat* Ahem! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girl. We would like to make an announcement that we will be going to Rio for one day.
  • Peri: Rio? What's Rio?
  • Old Bird: What? Are you talking about Rita?
  • Blu: Not Rita. Rio. Rio de Janeiro. The place where I met my friends. We will be going to Rio for a day to see our old friends. We're gonna have a good time on dancing to samba, eating fruits and flying with lots of birds to compete with. *see everyone cheering*
  • Jewel: We won't be gone for a long time. We'll make it back in time without no rush.
  • Red: Are we all going together or one of us is leaving to go to Rio?
  • Eduardo: I'm afraid, this trip is only for you guys, like the fanny pack. We're not going to Rio.
  • Blu: What? Why not?
  • Jewel: I thought you were going to come as a family.
  • Eduardo: We have other things to do. We have to stay back and watch over the tribe to prevent hunters from coming in. We never leave our home from threats and predators striving.
  • Nico: If you guys ain't coming. Then who's going?
  • Luiz: You know I am.
  • Pedro: Are you going to make it?
  • Luiz: I hope I don't get left out.
  • Rafael: Good. I know Roberto and Mimi are going to come.
  • Mimi: We can't. No one is leaving the tribe without back-up.
  • Rafael: What? Not even Roberto will go?
  • Roberto: This trip is only for friends of Blu.
  • Blu: I am a friend of you. We compete in softball together at the park, right?
  • Roberto: I don't know anything about you, but I can't leave out the tribe without a security in charge.
  • Jewel: We grew up together. Maybe you can come to Rio and see all the beaches and cities around the block.
  • Roberto: Sorry girl. I have fans around here and I would never leave my home without any fans cheering for me. Eduardo made the rules for everyone to not leave their home behind cause, we got jaguars, black panthers, leopards and cheetahs sneaking up on us and preying for a food kill while they're at it. We can't leave the tribe behind.
  • Jewel: *sign* That's understandable Roberto. I guess all of you guys aren't going.
  • Stella: We're all going with Blu. There's no problem leaving the tribe without a friend.
  • Roberto: We're just going to celebrate you guys on going on vacation for a day, okay?
  • Jewel: Sound like you made a promise.
  • Eduardo: Alright people. We will miss our guardians for a day while we continue to work in the tribe and guard from hunters coming in. We wish them good luck in Rio and to have a nice vacation far away from home. *see everyone cheering*
  • Nico: We gotta turn on some music!
  • Roberto: *get on the soundboard* The DJ's back in action and ready to turn on some music for everyone to listen. *turn on some music*
  • Pedro: We got a party rock anthem coming up baby! *make a sound*
  • Blu: Yay! Music and a party to dance to before we leave.
  • Red: We're going to roll with it.
  • Chuck: This is going to be fun.
  • Bomb: There's a lot of love coming on the way!
  • Eduardo: Ha ha ha. Music and a show. How smooth.
  • Roberto: Let's get this party on! *make party sounds with people cheering*
  • Mimi: The party never stops here!
  • Blu: Woo!
  • Jewel: This is like the samba club in the fruit market all over again.
  • Chuck: I think I'm gonna have a sugar boost. *speed up* This is getting kinda crazy!
  • Red: Oh Chuck. Have it your way.

  • Roberto: Let's go.
  • Nico: *jump on the cans with the birds*

Party rock is in the house tonight

  • Pedro: I can feel it baby!
  • Nico: *kick the soda cans*

And we gon' make you lose your mind

We just wanna see you... shake that!

  • Pedro: Every day I'm shuffling.
  • Blu: *do the worm dance* Look at me! I'm a worm!
  • Tiago: *act like a worm* I am a worm! Wee!
  • Carla: You're just pretending.
  • Bia: I thought birds are obsessed with worms.
  • Jim: They are.
  • Jake: They eat it for snack.
  • Jay: And dinner.
  • Bomb: Shuffling shuffling.
  • Pedro: *hold a GPS*

Step up fast

And be the first girl to make me throw this cash

We get money, don't be mad,

Now stop, hating's bad *imagine the Angry Birds shooting themselves on a slingshot by breaking through wood and defeating pigs and claiming moneybags in style of a Angry Birds-themed level*

One more shot for us

Another round

Please fill up my cup

Don't mess around

We just wanna see

You shake it now

Now you're home with me

You're naked now

  • Jewel: *fly with the birds*

Party rock is in the house tonight, put your wings up!

Everybody just have a good time, put your wings up!

And we gon' make you lose your mind, put your wings up!

Everybody just have a good good good time

  • Everyone: Ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhh, ohhhh!
  • Jewel: Put your wings up.
  • Blu: I can feel it, baby!
  • Stella: Put your wings up.
  • Red: Put your wings up.
  • Nico: Shake that!
  • Pedro: Every day I'm shuffling. *make a sound*
  • Nico: *jump on the logs*

Put your put your

Put your put your

Put your put your

Put your put your

  • Pedro: *get up the log stairs*

Put your wings up

Your wings up

Put your wings up

Kinga, kinga, kinga, kinga

I'm the samba master

Put your wings up *make a sound*

  • Roberto: *see everyone cheering* What a show! Thank you guys for coming to our party and go Rio and Amazon!
  • Blu: A praise for Rio!
  • Nico: You mean like a shout-out, just like in every social media post?
  • Pedro: Rio get a like on this one!
  • Eduardo: Bravo! Bravo! What a show! I've never felt impressed on a show ever since my chick years.
  • Red: Now let's go to Rio and celebrate!
  • Blu: Okay! *hold a GPS* GPS, locate the way to Rio.
  • GPS Voice: Calculating to Funky Town.
  • Blu: Funky Town? No. I mean Rio. We gotta go.
  • Jewel: Last one there is an rotten egg!
  • Chuck: Work your GPS better! It'll last longer!
  • Eduardo: So long my fellow friends! Come back soon and don't get caught by predators!
  • Mimi: We promised to show up on every summer if we feel like.
  • Rafael: We know!
  • Eva: Be back before the following day!
  • Rafael: We promise, depending on the weather!
  • Pedro: The weather doesn't kill it. The traffic does.
  • Rafael: No matter how we are going to beat the rain and traffic with the use of our feathers.
  • Stella: We got a long way of getting here.
  • Matilda: Time is gonna tell by the clock.
  • Blu: Goodbye Amazon! Rio, here we come! *he and the flock hold on to Red's flock and fly over to Rio*
  • Luiz: *run to follow the birds* Hey guys, wait up! *get left behind* They left without me, again! That's so messed up.
  • Old Bird: *walk to Luiz* Aw. It sucks to be you, doggy.
  • Luiz: I always get left out in parties and events. Wish I was a bird like a eagle.
  • Old Bird: You should have brought in a flamingo on the go, bulldog.
  • Luiz: I blew it again.

(Red and Blu's flock are leaving the Amazon Rainforest as they fly through the river and about to set off to various places on their way to Rio de Janeiro)

  • Red: Okay. Now that we're off the Amazon and we're going to a place like Rio!
  • Blu: Rio got a bunch of cities, beaches and jungles if you ask me.
  • Jewel: Don't they have all the fruits you can eat.
  • Blu: Huh? Not even a monkey eat a banana every day?
  • Nico: Hombre, you don't know what it's like to feel on the groove of Rio.
  • Pedro: We got a lot of friends back there and our friends are counting on us.
  • Rafael: I got a lot of friends too and I hope, I introduce to all of my friends to every one of you.
  • Blu: Oh cool. We'll soon get to know each other and know our origins, species, life and activities.
  • Stella: Some wouldn't expect that we blow bubbles, like me.
  • Hal: You blow bubbles for a living?
  • Stella: Yeah. It's part of my hobby, duh.
  • Bubbles: I still get to eat all the candy on the bucket.
  • Jewel: We haven't been back to Rio for a while. Hopefully, things have changed since we were residing at the Amazon for a while.
  • Tiago: Rio is going to be one big packed of a city.
  • Carla: This city always do carnivals and festivals all over the cities.
  • Bia: It's going to be lame, is it?
  • Rafael: Of course not! You just gotta feel the heat!
  • Bia: I guess I was wrong.
  • Red: One way trip to Rio, here we come.
  • Blu: Don't let me down on this one, GPS.

(The background song "Ô Vida" by Carlinhos Brown and Nina De Freitas plays as Red and Blu's flock travel all over the continent of Brazil by heading to Manaus by passing by cities and people walking in streets with flea markets opening up in the dock. The flock reach to Porto Velho as they pass by more cities by watching the statues and people walking in streets. The flock also reach to Fortaleza as they take a break from flying by looking at the beach with crabs crawling in the sand and people having fun in the beach. Blu and Jewel point out which ways to go as Jewel pointed out the other way in much of Blu's disappointment. As the GPS point out every direction in the map, Blu is in the field with Jewel and point out the way by upsetting Jewel. The flock fly to Recife by flying through cities and towns with people watching with crossing guards whistling and moving out cars by stopping them at the same time. The flock relax in a beach of Salvador while people play some volleyball and a celebration with people dancing in the city. The flock fly to Brasilia as Blu pass by a truck on the bridge as the flock watch over the traffic signs on where they going. Blu try to drink some water in the fountain as he spits, realizing the flock taking a shower with bubbles and soap. Tiago get on a vending snack by moving on the chip by the time the machine moves and hit him on the glass, landing on the hole and open a bag of chips for everyone to eat. The flock later flies to Campo Grande by looking at cities and a horse derby race with everyone watching. The flock later fly to Ouro Preto to look at the mountains as well reading a butterfly book as the butterflies fly all over the place with the flock chasing butterflies with Blu touching one as some got into his feather and shake around, annoying Red by making his butterflies fly away. The flock ride on the ostriches in the field, only for Blu and Red to ride on theirs, having a tough time on riding on a ostrich.)

  • Rafael: Ride on! Yee-haw!
  • Tiago: Faster, faster, faster!
  • Blu: Hey! Slow down! Don't be scared over running as a horse!
  • Red: Ugh! Blu, you suck at riding birds! Why can't we fly like normal birds?!
  • Blu: I can't get over this thing as a horse rider!
  • Red: I'm taking a break after vacation.

(The flock later ride through the night as Nico and Pedro try to get Terence while the big bird is falling asleep. The gang rest on the mountains as Rafael cook some fried blueberries and eat them for their tastes as they continue flying by making their way to Rio de Janeiro. Back at Rio de Janeiro at Linda and Tulio's house, Linda, Tulio and Fernando wake up from their beds as they begin packing their bags to set up their road trip as well eating breakfast burritos.)

  • Linda: Today's the day! We're going on a road trip!
  • Tulio: Mmm. These breakfast burritos taste so unique.
  • Fernando: Breakfast burritos are a thing? What's next? Breakfast pizzas?
  • Linda: Who eat a pizza for breakfast when you have a breakfast bowl of sausages, egg, cheese and bacon?
  • Tulio: Can't beat a frozen dinner despite not being that healthy and have too much salt like farm-made fish.
  • Fernando: I prefer waffles, pancakes and French toast bread for breakfast. But okay, I like this breakfast burrito anyways.
  • Linda: We still got a long way trip to go to. Come on.
  • Tulio: We got a lot of bags to pack while we're at it.
  • Fernando: It's going to be a long trip around the world, even on riding to the Amazon.

(Linda, Tulio and Fernando left the house as they pack all of their bags to the trunk seat of the car with the gang getting on the car as Linda prepare to drive on the road)

  • Linda: Bags, check. Snacks, check. Items, check. It's all good.
  • Tulio: Do you know where we are going for the trip?
  • Fernando: To Peru?
  • Linda: Peru's far away silly. We're going on a road trip to explore all the places in Brazil.
  • Tulio: Hope we have enough gas to take this road trip around the avenue.
  • Fernando: We'll load some gas on the way to the cities of Brazil.
  • Tulio: Are we clear on that, my love?
  • Linda: Everything's checked on the board. In that case, let's rock and roll like blue macaws! *drive the car on the road*

(Linda, Tulio and Fernando leave Rio de Janeiro and take a road trip around Brazil by watching over birds and taking a tour around the cities as well talking to people, visiting shops, looking at a water fountain with people dropping coins in the water, taking pictures of people dancing in the dance floor with a Brazilian-themed design and eat a bunch of steak in a restaurant while taking a selfie with people with their bird pets. The background song end as Red and Blu's flock are flying through the mountains while making their way to Rio de Janeiro.)

  • Blu: Okay GPS. Do you know where we are right now?
  • GPS Lady: *locate* You are one mile away to Rio de Janeiro.
  • Blu: One mile away to Rio de Janeiro? Eh. That's not too far. It seems like we're almost here.
  • Red: It been a while since we were flying all over the continent.
  • Rafael: Aw, man. My wife's gonna kill me. She promised to come back to the Amazon after a day and then, we really blew it after traveling too far.
  • Jewel: Rafael, chill out. Traveling take a while to get there.
  • Rafael: I know. Same with the traffic when riding cars. Does my wife not get the memo on how long we get to places on vacation?
  • Nico: Like dang. People are going to be asking that we were already there when we're not in Rio yet.
  • Rafael: Oh. Wait a minute. Have anyone seen Luiz?
  • Blu: Luiz? Uh. He doesn't fly.
  • Chuck: Not at all. Not even when we were flying through places.
  • Pedro: Hold up! We left out Luiz!
  • Blu: Dang! Are you crazy? Now we have to go back and pick him up from the start! It feel like we're never going to get to Rio if we have to follow Luiz all along on where he's walking.
  • Hal: He's a dog. A dog doesn't fly like a duck.
  • Rafael: Nah, forget it. It's late now. Luiz always miss out on trips and get left behind like most pets. We should be in Rio by now.
  • Tiago: Are we there yet?
  • Blu: No.
  • Jay: Are we really there yet?
  • Red: Not yet! Keep looking!
  • Jim: Are we really really there yet?
  • Chuck: Nope. Not at all.
  • Bia: Are you sure we're in Rio already?
  • Red: No! Can everyone stop asking before we get to the river of January!
  • Blu: The River of January is another word for Rio de Janeiro.
  • Red: Why call it Rio de Janeiro over a River of January? That's like going to a river of February on a Valentine's Month.
  • Pedro: Like people being confused at the Gulf of Mexico when Mexico isn't a part of the USA.
  • Nico: There's the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Do you guys have problems with two names sounding like each other?
  • Rafael: Not a problem to me.
  • Carla: You're missing the point of what the names rhyme with.
  • Bubbles: We're not rhyming. We're just learning, like students in schools.
  • Stella: We passed the blooms, the fields, the roads and cherry blossoms. Now where to next?
  • Red: I don't know. I feel like getting crazy in here when we're lost in the middle of nowhere!
  • Blu: Relax Red. Everything gonna be alright. You just needed a little pat on the head. *try to pat Red*
  • Red: Don't touch me! I'm not feeling the hang of it.
  • Blu: Okay. Keep it cool. No touchsies then.
  • Red: You know. I'm not in a good mood right now. We have been exploring the world for two days and nothing has come out of hand for the sakes of finding the Rio place we're looking for!
  • Nico: We all grew up in Rio. So, can everybody take some patience while we wait like grabbing a whole grape off a pine tree?
  • Pedro: Can you still track your GPS on where we're suppose to go next?
  • Blu: Forget the GPS. They give you the wrong source of misinformation and mislead you to wrong places like when that lady mention Funky Town over the Amazon.
  • Red: A funky town over a rainforest? That's like mistaking a pirate island over Piggy Island.
  • Chuck: *act like a pirate* Arr! Shiver me timbers. You seek to fall over the poop deck with a bunch of sharks swirling all over the water, waiting to bite your tail feathers.
  • Red: Oh Chuck. Can you knock it out with the pirate stuff? *see the fireworks blast in the sky* Uh... Did you just see that coming?
  • Chuck: Did a firework just blast in the sky? Weird.
  • Blu: Where is that coming from?
  • Jewel: Could it be that we're in-
  • Rafael: Rio?! That's the place where most fireworks shoot on carnival!
  • Nico: *see more fireworks blast in the sky and see a closer look of a statue of Christ the Redeemer* Oh my heavens, we're in Rio!
  • Pedro: Already? Time must have flew fast like a airplane.
  • Tiago: *see balloons* I can see a whole bunch of balloons there.
  • Carla: What are the balloons for?
  • Bia: I think they must be having another carnival going on later in the night.
  • Rafael: Something special must be going on in Rio lately.
  • Red: Like what's going on down there?
  • Announcer: *stand on a yellow macaw float in the streets to make an announcement* Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Put your hands up together! This is the final countdown to Carnival before the World Cup. Let's celebrate to represent the country of Brazil!
  • Red: Whoa. A carnival with a World Cup. That seems new.
  • Blu: People have been doing carnival parades for a long time and I have been seeing the carnival in my eyes when me and Linda first moved. Pretty clever and old school like nostalgia video games.
  • Chuck: Something must be exciting than seeing fireworks in the sky.
  • Stella: What are we suppose to do? Just stand here and do nothing?
  • Matilda: How about we jump and fly around those floats? How about that?
  • Blu: I think we can do that if it sound fair to us.
  • Jewel: I agree. Let's go and play with our fun in the floats.
  • Nico: That's a whole lot of balloon floats to jump on.
  • Pedro: We're gonna jump, fly and make a spin like a barrel roll.
  • Hal: Come on everyone. Let's hop and bounce.
  • Bubbles: All the way down to Rio coming up.
  • Bomb: Let's do this!

(The background song "Carambasamba" by Loco Loco plays as the people in Rio celebrate in town with a carnival festival with balloons and parades all over the streets as Red and Blu's gang fly all over the trees and reach to the balloon floats by flying through carnival)

  • Announcer: Alright people. With the World Cup coming, carnival isn't going to stop on us! Let's keep the parade and balloon floats going with an celebration! *make everyone cheer*
  • Dancer #1: Balloons!
  • Dancer #2: Parades!
  • Dancer #3: Statues!
  • Red: *jump on the balloon floats with the flock* What's with the people celebrating with the big bubbles?
  • Stella: They're called balloons, silly.
  • Red: What's a balloon?
  • Blu: A balloon is what you seen in parties and ceremonies. They're a brightly colored rubber sac that is inflated with air and then sealed at the neck, used as a children's toy or a decoration.
  • Jewel: People call it a flexible bag like a reusable bag used in stores.
  • Red: Wonder why there are so many balloons in the carnival.
  • Rafael: Lots of floats man. They even got cars to ride on.
  • Chuck: Whoa! Look at the people dressed in costumes.
  • Bubbles: Isn't it too super duper early for Halloween yet?
  • Nico: They're dancers! They dress in costumes to look like birds to show the theme and spirit of all the birds in a feather.
  • Pedro: It's real in Rio, baby. Let's get our spirit on with the flock! *make a sound*
  • Bubbles: There's a whole lot of jumping around here.
  • Hal: Going under pressure.
  • Matilda: Look out for sparkles, fireworks and sharp logs on the way.
  • Red: It's gonna be a long ride all the way down.

(Many people are celebrating with people giving out balloons, party hats and pom poms to cheer on with the chefs cooking some meat and steak to serve for the people. Red and Blu's gang fly through the balloon floats and jump through the balloons in a balloon parade of carnival.)

  • Red: Whoa! Now it's a bounce house going on!
  • Chuck: I can feel the pushy jump!
  • Bomb: Heck, this feel like something one of our slingshots can use when fighting pigs.
  • Blu: Slow down! Why are we hopping on these big balloons?
  • Jewel: They're floats! I didn't know the carnival is gonna be that big this year!
  • Nico: Heck! We could have performed our untamed show in the biggest carnival of the year!
  • Pedro: I thought we already did our talent show in the Amazon.
  • Bia: Duh. The one in the Amazon was better.
  • Nico: We could have brought everyone from the Amazon and invite them over to carnival in Rio!
  • Pedro: We didn't know what's going on since we were living in the macaw tribe at that time!
  • Rafael: Can never say never.
  • Jay: Wee. I'm flying!
  • Jim: I'm hopping like a rabbit!
  • Jake: Bing bing boing!
  • Announcer: Make some noise! *make everyone cheer* Now light up the fireworks!
  • Firework Taker: Aye-yai-yai! *light up the fireworks and blast them in the sky*
  • Pizza Chef: Mama mia! They blast like a well-done pizza in the oven! Gotta spread some tomato sauce! *make the pizza*
  • Blu: *see the fireworks blast in the sky* Cheese and sprinkles! They're shooting fireworks that early?!
  • Rafael: Bro, they do this every year, every day and every night!
  • Hal: At all times, baby!
  • Bubbles: You're only one way to fly man.
  • Red: Yay. Hey. It's a merry-go-round on the go, right Terence?
  • Terence: *annoyed* Mmm...
  • Red: Yeah. You're good.
  • Chuck: Look out below for the cart!
  • Blu: Stranger danger everyone! *scream with the gang by falling off the balloon float*

(Red and Blu's gang land on a wagon full of fireworks as well many people dancing in the streets with few cars slowly going by to prevent injuries with more fireworks blasting in the sky)

  • Announcer: Carnival is number one event in all of Brazil! Go Rio!
  • Red: Holy gum drops. How did we end up in a wagon full of sticks?
  • Blu: They're called fireworks. You know, these lighters that blast in the sky to explode with fire elements.
  • Red: I know what fireworks are.
  • Bomb: Like go boom boom boom!
  • Nico: Everyone shoot fireworks on the 4th of July.
  • Jewel: We can't get out of this wagon! It's so full of fireworks that we didn't even torch it yet.
  • Tiago: Can we torch it up?
  • Blu: No Tiago! You'll kill us all!
  • Carla: We can do it if you want.
  • Blu: Just don't. I'm being real serious.
  • Rafael: Don't touch anything! You're kids. You know you're not allowed to touch one of those things like a weapon.
  • Bia: Or a gun.
  • Rafael: Don't say it out loud!
  • Jim: *light up the fireworks* Oops, I light up the firework.
  • Red: Jim! What are you doing?!
  • Stella: Don't tell me it's gonna blast. *she and everyone ride on the wagon while the fireworks light up* Whoa! It's going fast!
  • Matilda: Stay together! I don't know where we're going?!
  • Blu: *ride on the wagon with people moving out of the way* Excuse me humans! Coming through! Pardon us!
  • Red: Let's jump out of this thing!
  • Blu: I'm trying. But the thing won't even stop rolling!
  • Chuck: It's too fast! Make it stop!
  • Bomb: Well you're fast. You even speed up while blasting on a slingshot!
  • Chuck: I don't move when the thing we ride on goes faster.
  • Jake: We're gonna count on three.
  • Jake: Everyone on board.
  • Red: Kids, stop! This is real serious!
  • Jay, Jake and Jim: One, two, three!

(The wagon hit on the tires as the fireworks blast all over the sky with Red and Blu's gang jumping off the wagon and flying and bouncing all over the beach by bouncing on nets, beach balls, umbrellas and female human booties while the latter female slap on a male after accusing him for hitting her booty. The background song ends as the birds land on many sand castles after the firework blast in the sky.)

  • Red: *spit out sand* Gross! Sand is not salt to eat with!
  • Rafael: Did not see that coming!
  • Blu: What was that ride?
  • Chuck: At least it's not the fireworks show in the cherry blossom.
  • Jewel: We're stuck! We need to dig a way out.
  • Matilda: The sand castles are big. Even the sand is fluid that we can't even get out of the trap.
  • Hal: Look like we're gonna be stuck in these sand castles for the rest of our lives.
  • Bubbles: Coming here was a petty mistake after all. Thanks a lot Blu.
  • Blu: Don't blame me? We all make mistakes here. When the rain comes, it drops on the sand and the sand becomes muddy for a bit, meaning we'll get out of here and mush up the sand like clay.
  • Red: *see a grumpy kid on the way* Oh look. He got a lifesaver and.... he's not looking very happy.
  • Blu: Oh no. What did we do wrong?
  • Grumpy Kid: What are you doing on my sand castles?!
  • Jewel: Hello fellow human kid. We are here to come in peace.
  • Rafael: No need to kick us all out like flies.
  • Grumpy Kid: Get out of my sand castles!
  • Red: Whoa, take it easy. If you take a easy chill, you can- *the grumpy kid kick the sand castles as well kicking all the birds out of the sand castles* Whoa! *he and the birds bump through the trees and land on the coconuts* Lettuce! That was not a good kick!
  • Rafael: We did not see that coming.
  • Hal: Aw man. There's sand on my nose. *shake himself* Much better.
  • Bubbles: Aw, dude. It's sticking through my feathers.
  • Nico: It's sand man. Every time you step on sand, it stick right into your body like dirt.
  • Bubbles: Ah! It's all over me! I'm gonna be sick!
  • Pedro: Relax man! Sand isn't going to make you sick. Sand is fine like snow and everything's gonna be all fine.
  • Blu: Man, it's always hot in the summer. It's like we should have been in Florida right now.
  • Jewel: How many places do you want to go with the hot sun? We just got to Rio already.
  • Blu: Yeah, but I recommend more hot places in my feeds like Qatar and Hawaii.
  • Tiago: Aren't we suppose to see something that interest our eyes?
  • Blu: Just taking a short vacation. We wanted to visit Rio for a while and that's it.
  • Carla: You don't want to go to other places like a drink bar, a gym or a daycare?
  • Blu: Nah. We're birds. We fly in the wild and live with the wild. I could have preferred to stay in a jacuzzi with warm water, but never mind.
  • Bia: I thought coming back here was lame than exploring the Amazon's the first time.
  • Chuck: Is it me or did we come here to play at the beach?
  • Red: We did not plan to go to the beach, we plan to hang out in Rio and see one of Blu's old friends.
  • Blu: Our friends visit the Amazon for a while. And now, we're going to visit them in a place we grew up in.
  • Jewel: We better keep on going cause, the Sun ain't going to stop on us.
  • Jake: We should keep going.
  • Jim: No time to waste.
  • Jay: Last one there is a hot wing.
  • Bomb: For our snacks, right Terence?
  • Terence: *annoyed* Mmm...
  • Bomb: Right, eh.
  • Blu: Everyone, to the streets.
  • Nico: I hope there's no traffic in the way.
  • Pedro: Especially when its carnival season.
