The Angry Video Game Nerd is the star of the web series of the same name. Formerly known as the Angry Nintendo Nerd, he is the main character of the AVGN series. If Nostalgia Critic is the ultimate critic of movies, then Angry Video Game Nerd is this for video games. He uses loads of bad language to the point where they are catchphrases.
Not much is known about Nerd's past. The episode of Board James: Video Games, features what seems to be Nerd's origin story.
The Nerd goes on a one-man quest to rid the world of awful video games. On his journeys, he fights Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, The Joker, and other famous characters.
Board James[]
James (Under the alias Board James) is a very big fan of board games, to the point where he seems to be more concerned about board games rather than actual people. He even seems to have gone as far as attempting to murder someone over the games. He is noticeably much more innocent and even cheery. However, when he begins to play video game-themed board games, a voice in his head keeps telling him how trash they all are and that he should just play the actual game. James keeps fighting off these thoughts until he eventually realizes that it's true. He soon realizes that he's tired of board games. He throws the games away, gets up and goes to play the actual game. It is here where he becomes the Angry Video Game Nerd.
However, it has not yet been confirmed if this origin story is considered canon.
Super NES Angry Video Game Nerd[]
Super NES Angry Video Game Nerd is The Nerd wearing NES accessories as a form of armor and weapons. This is one of the few times we see the Angry Video Game Nerd without his glasses. Although the suit is lacking a few accessories, the NES Turbo controller, the Speedboard, and the Roll N' Rocker and U-Force are added in later battles.

Hottie 3: The Best Fan Fic in the World[]
In Chapter 20 of Hottie 3: The Best Fan Fic in the World he alongside with Mr. T, Chuck Norris, Segata Sanshiro and Axe Cop with Lemon combine their Spiral Energy with Robyne AKA Hottie II, as Super Hottie 3, so that she can transform into Super Hottie Goddess. He later does the same to the 1st Hottie in a later chapter. In chapter 57, the Nerd not only became an honorary member of the Department of Hotness but, as Super NES Angry Video Game Nerd, performed Coconut Fusion with Super Hottie Goddess, Axe Cop with Lemon and Segata Sanshiro to form "Axe Hottie X3".
