Anubis is the Egyptian god of the dead. He appears in The Quest for Beasts, voiced by Ron Perlman, who reprised the role in The Quest for Beasts: A New Generation.
Biography[]
Anubis was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians as the god of the dead and embalming, until the introduction of Christianity ended worship of the gods; shortly followed by Islam. The gods went into retreat and hid in their underground city of Amun.
