Archer is the head of Team Rocket and one of the executives when Giovanni is gone in HeartGold and SoulSilver, and is one of the two Interim Bosses. In Gold and Silver, and Crystal the same thing happens although Archer, like the other executives, was unidentified and shared the same sprite as the other executives. He serves as the main antagonist of Gold and Silver, and Crystal, and their remakes.
