Iron Tiger (BDA)
This “wild child” was born and raised amid the natural beauty of Giant, a planet with expansive tracts of green land. He has preternatural animal instincts and a resilient, well-toned physique, both of which factored into his recruitment by the F-ZERO Pilot Selection Committee. He left his home and underwent a great deal of training in order to make his F-ZERO Grand Prix debut last year. He didn’t win, unfortunately, and knowing he still had much to learn, he set out on a spiritual journey. As a result, his physical strength has increased twofold. However, he is also a bit overconfident now and is considered somewhat of a bigmouth.
In F-Zero GP Legend, Baba's anime counterpart appeared as a member of the Dark Million organization. He functions as the group's spy and is often a close, low-class henchman to Zoda, much like Octoman and Bio Rex. He first debuted in Lap 3, Burn Out on Planet Clifoto. And he does make some small cameos in many episodes since. Even when Jack Levin confronts Michael Chain and his dark past as the Death Reaper in Grim Reaper Jack Levin. He's also seen during the Final Lap as one of Dark Million's cronies standing up to the Platoon, till they scampered away from Dark Star to avoid certain death; he's still seen dreading over Zoda, as Hyper Zoda, when he enters the 2207 Grand Prix.
Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
He hasn't been seen often, excepting in Lap 4 of Ending it All, in which he met his demise. He was enlisted along with Zoda at Big Blue's elite course, the Dolphin Dive. Tinsel got involved against the duo, and they seemed to have the upper hand, by crushing her on both sides. Until Leon saved her, and then got himself crushed by the monkey! By the time Tinsel bashed into Zoda after calling her "defect," Baba lost control, crashed into the Death Anchor, and the impact sent the Iron Tiger over the course! He couldn't save himself, and he plummeted into the raging sea just before the gap, never to be seen again!
