In Ikran's scrapped story, Gavin's Purgatory Journey, while Katrina Crane guided Gavin up Mt. Purgatory to the Wrath Terrace, one of the shades he recognized was Biff Tannen, following his ancestor's, Bufon "Mad Dog" Tannen, he, along with his grandfather, Griff Tannen, reside at the Wrath level for their bullying and abusive nature as they both wreaked chaos across Hill Valley, even in Biff's case when he acted as ruler when Marty McFly went to an altered time and dominated over Lorraine while having the Sports Almanac. After he was reformed since George punched him to a more docile person, he had some short circuits in 2015 which resulted him to revert to his old habits; it's likely he either was murdered or died from advanced age.
