Big Blue in GP Legend
Big Blue (ビッグブルー; Big Blue) is a well-known course originating from F-Zero. Since then, it has appeared multiple times throughout the series and in other franchises throughout the Nintendo community.
Big Blue is a planet where 99% of the surface is covered by water. Its circuits are built over and/or through its vast ocean. In most F-Zero games, Big Blue has the appearance of a wide, open sea, with numerous rocks protruding out of the water, and very few buildings above its oceans.
In F-Zero GX, Big Blue underwent a significant change in appearance, and looked much more industrial than in the other games, with buildings, hotels, underwater tunnels, etc. found all over the circuits. (Still, plenty of water to be found). The planet was strictly protected by the nature conservation group over a long time, but it was rumored that a new energy source laid down at the bottom of the seabed; investigation started right away, although no discoveries have yet been found.

Big Blue, of course, is a famous place in any F-Zero Grand Prix, whether it'd be an elite course, or one of the basics ever since Tinsel's first encounter as the second round in the Knight League, or her test runs at the Sapphire/Emerald Cups.
Contrary to the community, in Falcon's Followers, Capt. Falcon was ambushed by the Bloody Chain AT the Big Blue highway, and Tinsel and the Duelists went an alt route to avoid the assaults. Yugi unloaded his Catapult Turtle and the Multiplying Kuriboh as "falling meteors" which rained down onto the gang destroying their Wild Boars and allowing Falcon safe passage to Lightning! Despite their fears they'd be struck from the water vapor emitting from the oceans below.
It has appeared again as Tinsel enlisted in the elite Dolphin Dive race against Zoda and Baba. She had quite a losing scrimmage between the two, until Leon recognized the Silver Comet and lent a hand. Still, they had a tough decision to make, and Baba lost control over his machine, plummeting to the raging sea! Tinsel and Leon were unable to charge and remembering Jody's advice on breaking limits, Tinsel decided to give the Space Angler a nudge over a gap, and being the Comet's light, it made it across with no problem; she then took in first place!
This later became the birthplace for Archer Arrow.
Daemon Rising with a...SMASH![]
Big Blue has made an appearance within the Smash System as a racetrack Capt. Falcon competed in! Mario, Link, Link Jr. and Zelda wound up at the place via Warp Star and had to avoid the swarm of oncoming machines, otherwise they'd be instant roadkill! As they got the goal, Falcon won the race but was irritated as he couldn't earn his winnings on account he was chosen by Master Hand to defend the System from a supervirus, Daemon.
