Biggs and Wedge are two Red Wings soldiers who are unnamed in Final Fantasy IV, though they appear as temporary playable characters in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and are given a story role as well. Being members of the Red Wings, Biggs has been shown piloting an airship and is presumed to be the higher ranking of the two. Their roles are expanded on in the Japanese exclusive novelizations of both games.
Biggs and Wedge are recurring character names from the series for—usually—a pair of soldiers named after Star Wars characters.
These were the men operating all of Baron's airships and serve Cid. These brothers were first seen as Rosa was being mangled by Dameon. He encouraged she and Cecil can make things right as the new royals!
In the second story, they were instructed by Cid as the new Royal Captains for the Red Wings in Cecil's stead since he already has his hands full with Rosa's pregnancy and the upcoming birth of their heir. By the time Ceodore was born, their titles became official.
