Bio Rex is a genetically engineered creature designed by the the group of scientists who would then form a racing team called Dinosaur Racing Team, which also designed the Big Fang.
Biography[]
This dinosaur is a product of biotechnology. Through this technology, his brain has become very similar to a human’s. If he wins the Grand Prix, he will prove that he’s superior to humans.
Utilizing advanced biotechnologies, Bio Rex was created from a fossilized dinosaur egg. Genetic design allowed for the development of higher brain functions equivalent to that of a human, but as a carnivorous predator, he still is as aggressive as Pico.
He first entered the Grand Prix to prove his superiority over humans, but this time around he has entered to satisfy his ravenous appetite for mammoth ribs.
F-Zero GP Legend[]
Bio Rex's Anime counterpart is one of the cronies that works for Dark Million, though he's more of a low-class lackey and works alongside Octoman, The Skull, Baba and Zoda. He is closest with Octoman, and is often seen as a minor character, except when he appears in the Women's Cup. Like the other cronies, they work for Zoda in Dark Million.
Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
Bio Rex hasn't been making a lot of appearances. He has first participated in the X competition, after he was created, but he kept on losing to Falcon. Even during the BET race and the GX competition. He soon joined Dark Million alongside Octoman functioning as some of Zoda's cronies. The Big Fang hits like a truck, though the Dragon Bird seemed to be equally matched. Although he kinda had his way as he was able to ambush Rick while he was sulking in an alley. He even inserted an experimental solution at the back of his neck, before he was taken to Dark Star.
Soon after, he participated in the Green Plant preliminaries with Octoman, and seemed to one-up Tinsel, even intimidating her that she won't have a chance, not even the Task Force put up a fight. Luckily she was saved by Beastman and knocked him out of the race! He hasn't been seen till his reckless rampage in the Mute City streets as Clank spotted a machine interfering his tablet. Chris was immediately on the chase, as was Tinsel, then was assisted by Jack and Gomar & Shioh. Just as before, the Big Fang was crushing the ill-repaired Comet, till the Hyper Speeder side-swiped the machine, causing it to spin out and crash into a truck of manure! The impact ejected him, and the load covered him all over!! Chris stunned and apprehended the crook and took him to the nearest prison, where the officers had a field day with him!

- In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Bio Rex appears as a spirit and his spirit fight is represented by Wolf from the Star Fox series.
