Blaze

Blaze is a female Blaziken, and a close friend to Snivels. Her One True Place is as Astrid's prime Pokémon partner.

Bio: Blaze is Astrid's prime partner, and a tough fighter like her trainer, though she also has a soft spot as well. Like Snivels, Blaze is also able to speak human, which she learned how to do by watching her trainer. It's revealed that she and Snivels are good friends, and that they're trying to get their trainers together, in an early relationship. Despite knowing the truth about the dragons, Blaze often feels that she has no choice but to do as Astrid expects her to. She reveals to her trainer that she can speak human when she and Astrid are taken on a flight with Hiccup on Toothless. She yells for Astrid to apologize to Hiccup, and despite being surprised that her Pokémon can talk, Astrid does as Blaze suggests. She's a strong fighter both on and off the Pokémon battlefield, and is able to beat any opponent...so far.

Ability: Speed Boost-boosts speed while in battle

Gender: Female

Name Origin: Blaze shares her name with the Ability that all Fire-Type starter Pokémon have.

Strengths/Powers: Skilled in combat, can speak human, unaffected by fire attacks, can disintegrate rival weapons.

Weaknesses: Can't whistle, gets seasick easily when on a boat.

Relationships: Astrid (Trainer), Snivels (Adopted brother), Backfire (Father), Kiche (Mother, deceased), Svenan (Foster father, deceased), Salene (Foster mother, deceased)
