Boss is a minor character in The Bouncer.
Not much is known about him, excepting the Bouncers' backstories: For Volt, Boss took him in as he was on self-exile from Mikado while being framed of Master Mikado's death; he healed his gunshot wounds, only to have metal horn piercings to help him blend in as he was employed for the new and most promising Bouncer of Fate. For Kou, Boss hired him as a new Bouncer while he was undercover for LUKIS in spying on "the target," Dominique, though it wasn't easy since Boss' finances are limited. He then took in Sion a year before he became a Bouncer as he started a giant fight encountering Volt in hopes for him to kill Sion. Although Boss gave him a second chance as the youngest Bouncer of Fate. He also considered Dominique as the cute mascot of the place.
The Bouncer tetralogy[]
Boss was of course seen before the assault by Mikado's Special Forces, although that's the first/last time in the game. Unlike the PS2 classic, however, Boss appeared more. Even when he was assisting Ayame looking for the missing Bouncers in Mikado by giving her photos for each. He was seen again as he said goodbye to the new heroes, Ayame, Goten, and Trunks as they left on the Flying Nimbus.
He was seen again during Sion's 20th birthday and picked and described each one of his alcoholic beverages in his inventory; Sion chose the Sapporo which was alarming to him and Wong. He was then readjusting the schedule for each of the Bouncers, including Echidna, though Sion wanted to take all the shifts for himself which was very disheartening for him. He was hapless as Sion challenged and threatened Volt, wishing to end his life as he failed to do before! But Sion eventually regained his senses as he accidentally backhanded Dominique. As the murder cases began to rise, Boss was reading a news article of "The Shadow's" killings, thus banning Sion from Fate!
He eventually grew concerned over Sion and Dominique's disappearances, according to Gohan as he helped Sion traverse to the executive floor. He was protected by Goten in case Jet Black should invade. Sion was successful, and Boss reinstated him as a Bouncer again!
In the Yakuza Saga, Boss passed on and left Volt and Echidna as new co-leaders of Fate. And with the donations from Capsule Corp, then bar had been repaired from the Special Forces, the Yakuza, and also allowing it to expand and develop into a nightclub! Making it the best bar in all of Dog Street!!
