Bumper the Badger is a playable character in Diddy Kong Racing and its remake. He was one of the characters contacted by Timber the Tiger who had his parents leave him in charge of the island to stop the control of his island from Wizpig. His theme instrument is a steel guitar, and he pilots yellow vehicles in the game. He has good speed and acceleration but has poor turning skills.
Bumper reappears in Diddy Kong Racing DS as one of the playable characters once more and is relatively unchanged and is once more contacted by Timber to save his island once more. He sounds older in this game.

- When Ikran was 10, she fantasized 3 squads assisting the ThunderCats; Bumper's specialty in racing and repairing, as seen holding a wrench, made him enlisted with Panthro in the Diddy Kong Racing Squad.
- Originally Bumper was one of Ikran's Video Game Rodents; however, this was proven as an error as badgers aren't classified as rodents but rather just mammals.
