F-Zero: GP Legend was an anime television series based on the F-Zero video games. The series, which ran for 51 episodes, aired on Japan's TV Tokyo from 2003 - 2004. Captain Falcon, voiced by David Wills in the English version and Hideyuki Tanaka in the Japanese version, was featured in most episodes. Fifteen English-language episodes were produced before the show's cancellation in America. The series told the story of Captain Falcon and his best friend and rival, Rick Wheeler.
Unlike in the video games, "Captain Falcon" is a title given to a person. Throughout most of the anime, the Falcon House owner Bart Lemming (later revealed to be Andy Summer, Jody Summer's long lost brother) held this title until he died in the final episode, then it was passed onto Ryu Suzaku (Rick Wheeler). The character of Captain Falcon is generally seen as the stoic and mysterious hero. Regardless of whether he is still an active bounty hunter, he is still feared by many criminals, especially in Port Town. Although he does not appear in every episode, he plays a significant role in the series: his main goal is to stop the efforts of the Dark Million Organization. It was also revealed he was a spy for the evil organization disguised as a hooded figure named Berserker, infiltrating Dark Million. Till his demise in Dark Star.

Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
In Ikran's timeline, Burt Lemming is NOT Capt. Falcon. Just named as Jody's brother, Andy. He has joined her sister in the Federation, until that lethal shootout by Zoda, which resulted in an explosion from his own rocket launcher. Andy was presumed to be dead, but...he actually survived, albeit with a weak constitution. He was honorably discharged, and he still changed his name to Burt as he never wanted to work for the Federation on account on his condition. Then, Capt. Falcon gave him the motivation to keep living, and he decided to make the Falcon House in his idol's honor.
He was in hiding for several years, and he soon met Tinsel. She was desperate in finding a safe haven while staying in Mute City, as her dad abandoned her and left her for the southern Asian colonies. Burt decided to take her in, and she also volunteered to work for the Falcon House for awhile to keep up on room and board, till she earned prize money as an F-Zero racer again. Then, he met Rick, who just woke up from 150-year old cold sleep. He was surprised it had been that long, and he sympathized with his plight on losing his life and Haruka at the hands of Zoda. Since then, he and Rick became fast friends. He has also made contacts from Roger Buster and Draq for interstellar deliveries, even Doreyan mangos for Alias. A few weeks later, he took in Clank, an orphan/hacker from Planet Forno, in exchange for getting the Falcon House out of the red.

Months later, he was concerned since he lost contact with the Task Force, and he kept on encouraging/hoping for Tinsel to reunite them, especially Rick. He soon reunited with him after Tinsel and Leon found him in White Land. The Task Force was coming together, and he got the chance to meet the Mighty Gazelle, who volunteered to be the janitor. Clank was proud, as was he, it's his father and is no longer considered an orphan! Then, Roy analyzed Burt as his old friend, Andy Summer. This was a shocker to everyone, and Burt explained it was true, as they'd worked in the Federation together. Rick then put the pieces together from his past, it was incredible. He then reunited with his sister, Jody, which eventually brought her back to her senses from Dark Million's thrall. He then boarded the Galaxy Runner with her as the heroes infiltrated Dark Star, till it was obliterated.
Burt was still alive, and having a happier life. He took in PJ after his home, the Empyrean Colony was destroyed, taking Tinsel's old flat. Then, as Rick and Tinsel were discussing ideas for their wedding, he announced he'll be the marriage officiant and tailor, and he also helped with Dr. Stewart's wedding with Katherine Wilson, Luna's mom. He stated measuring someone's outfit was important for business as he assisted them with their own tux and dress! Even presenting them two weeks before the event. He also announced the festivities during the wedding, from tying the knot, to the sake-sipping ceremony, to the ring bearing, and making it official! He's still visited by Rick and Tinsel a lot, even after moving to Port Town permanently.
