Captain Ran Kord was an Imperial officer in service to the Galactic Empire. He was a captain on Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer, the Executor. Captain Kord was killed, along with Admiral Firmus Piett and the others, when the Executor was destroyed at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY.
