Jade and Taven was one of the couples TheIkranRider wanted in Mortal Kombat (aside from LiuxKitana and LaoxAiko) ever since she started writing Final Kombat. With Taven as the new Edenian Protector God and with his family corrupted and lost, she felt he needed someone to shoulder his losses. She figured Jade shall be the perfect choice, much like Liu and Kitana, only they're from the same realm, and may be around the same age, with Taven in suspended animation. He also needed a guide to catch up with the changes of the realm, so Jade would be ideal for him and Orin. Ever since Armageddon ended, with them as two out of several survivors, Queen Sindel and King Jerrod congratulated him as he accomplished his quest and being Argus' successor over Daegon and Rain! Jade gave him a peck for a job well done and after the epilogue, it was mentioned they bore an offspring wearing yellow-green garb symbolizing a mix between their signature colors, even fighting against Kotal and his new forces!
