Also known as Stody, this was an official couple created by a couple of Ikran's friends, mostly ButtscottchPiie.
She couldn't agree more, even though Jody's age is technically 2 decades behind the high-flying medico. Still, ever since she became a cyborg and was the head of the Elite Mobile Task Force, it was nice to have them together even in times of crisis. Once the pair's been separated, though, hell seems to break loose!
The doc seems to always be the mediator as well as the strategist, even though he's not much of a racer like his late father. While Jody tends to be the authorative, strict leader, and he always tends to thaw her iron-clad heart. Things always work out between them, even with the team's best interests, and restoring faith in their lower cohorts.
It was a done deal when Stewart's missing wife, Katherine Wilson, visited him in Port Town, and mentioned it was ok for him to warm up to Jody while still carrying on their growing family. At least it wasn't developed by the Florence Nightengale Effect, contrary to his past two relationships.
Ironically, according to the anime, Burt said Stewart's birthday takes place on Valentine's Day while Jody's is a week afterwards!
