Lover Stealers

A love rival also known as homewreckers are villains who has taken a step too far. That is to say, the villains who abduct someone's lover/love interest, usually the one of the people they antagonize. It is most often done to coerce the victim into marriage, but it can also happen when the villain takes a hostage. Examples include King Kong, Jennifer Check, Green Goblin, Isaac Ray Peram Westcott, Rahul Metha and Aldrich Killian.

A lover stealer can also be an individual who has "stolen" the protagonist's love interest from them and begins a relationship with them, much to the chagrin of the hero. Examples of this include Biff Tannen, Arthas Menethil, Regina George.

A lover stealer can also include elements of both of the above. Ellen Mira Mathers, Judge Claude Frollo, Ripslinger and Bowser.
