Mavericks

Characters in the Mega Man games labelled as Mavericks, mainly by a government or large group, like the Maverick Hunters in the Mega Man X series and Neo Arcadia in the Mega Man Zero series.

Originally, those considered Mavericks are rebellious Reploids and Mechaniloids that are considered a threat to the world, but its use could vary. Depending on the circumstances, the status as a Maverick could also be deferred, like Epsilon (posthumously) and the Resistance members. Due to those changes and the large number of characters that could be considered Mavericks, only major characters and groups from the Mega Man X series confirmed to be considered Mavericks are listed in the category.
