Charmeleon is a Pokémon who is a fire lizard. It is Pokémon number 005 in the Kanto Pokédex. It has a firm face and flame tail. Charmeleon is the evolved form of Charmander and evolves into Charizard.

Seven years later, he evolved from Charmander and still resides in Death Mountain. Charmeleon was joyful as he reunited with Link and his Trainer, Zelda II. Inside the Crater, he was one of the Pokémon that assisted the duo in the Fire Temple, and when he was knocked over by some Keese and Red Skulls, he fell into one of the lava pools. This would've extinguished his tail flame, but he actually evolved into Charizard!
