Cheung Kang is the son of the Keepers of Time and Titans, Liu Kang and Kitana. This was an idea made by TheIkranRider since she adored the couple of Mortal Kombat dearly ever since she was 8 years old, as well as having one of John Tobias' visions come thru having the pairing bear a son. He's destined to be the next generation of the Chosen One, aside from Kung Lao, being that he's a demigod, first for Earthrealm and currently Edenia's first after Armageddon. He was born in mid 1996 in the Edenian Palace as Kitana and her family found out late that she was with child two trimesters in. Luckily, unlike Aiko, he wasn't born prematurely and came into the realms within three trimesters, which was close to the same time Cassie and Jacqui were also delivered. He only loved the Edenian blue and indigo, contrary to the usual Oriental red. He inherits Kitana's opal eyes with Liu's jet-black hair, while other features were from both parents.

Caro offered Aiko to visit Yin Yang Island as he needed the company when Lord Liu Kang and Kitana began time-hopping after Armageddon. He highlighted the inception of the two Titans from the timequake of 2008, to the defeat of Kronika, to decimating Shang and retrieving the Krown, restarting time and soon getting intimate, resetting the universe again and hiding from history after Great Kung Lao's tragedy, and unveiling after Armageddon. By the time the red dragon was done with the story, Kitana and Liu arrived and brought in their newborn son. Liu enlisted Caro as not only as the guardian of the Hourglass but also retaining his role as caretaker over Cheung as he used to be with Daegon.

- There was also another OC who's the son of Liu Kang and Kitana, even Liu and Sonya, made by one of Ikran's friends also inspired by Tobias' vision.
- His name can also be the inspiration and a nod to Liu's brother, Chow/Chan Kang.
