Cyndaquil

Cyndaquil (Japanese: ヒノアラシ Hinoarashi) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II.

It evolves into Quilava starting at level 14, which evolves into Typhlosion starting at level 36.

Along with Chikorita and Totodile, Cyndaquil is one of the three starter Pokémon of Johto available at the beginning of Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. It also acts as one of the three starters for the Hisui region in Legends: Arceus alongside Rowlet and Oshawott.

Like Gabite, Pachirisu and Togepi, is a Pokémon that appeared in Total Drama Cartoon and Hollywood World.

Ikran's Lost Ocarina of Time/Pokémon crossover

Cyndaquil was one of Zelda II's Pokémon she trained from Johto. He was first found on Death Mountain and volunteered to assist the Gorons' famine by eliminating the Dodongos and the king.

Recessional of the Red Dragons

Cyndaquil was owned by April, one of Mary's cousins and the Pokémon Champion from Johto. He always hung on top of her shoulder and never wanted to be in a Poké Ball. He was part of the infantry as the special forces trekked thru Valles Marineris and was useful melting the ice shield in Olympus Mons and fighting back the Red Dragons before the huge avalanche!
