Daniel "Danny" Davenport is the Gold Beetle Ranger & leader of Power Rangers Gear Beasts. He is an alternate of Danny Davenport of the Lab Rats.
Character History[]
Danny is the cowboy-styled, Spanish-speaking nephew of Donald Davenport, the CEO of the Davenport Animal Biology Physics Corporation, & the cousin of the three Davenport siblings who work with their father. He is about the same age as his cousin Adam.

- Unlike his original universe counterpart, his ranger designation states his color.
- Also, his suit is separate from Beet J. Stag's armor.
- Also, his main-universe counterpart is not the leader of his team.
- Also, his main-universe counterpart is a bionic computer avatar & the Lab Rats' brother.
- The Gold Beetle Ranger shares the motif of the Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle with the Crimson Thunder Ranger of the two-man Thunder Ranger team in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, just as the Silver Stag Ranger shares the Navy Thunder Ranger's Japanese Stag Beetle motif.
- The Silver Stag Ranger & Gold Beetle Ranger are also a silver & gold duo, similar to the Ranger Operators, Ranger Gold & Ranger Silver, from Power Rangers RPM.
