Dauragon C. Mikado is the main antagonist of The Bouncer.
The young CEO of the Mikado Group international megacorporation. Dauragon has risen to his present position because he is the adopted son of the previous CEO. He has been trained since childhood to succeed as head of the Mikado Group and is capable of handling any situation calmly. He is responsible for Dominique's abduction, but his motives for such an action are unknown.
Dauragon C. Mikado is the older brother of Dominique Cross, a sickly girl who he protected and lived with as an orphan on the streets of Edge. When a night came when Dominque's illness became worse, he carried her through the city streets in order to find a hospital that would treat her illness. He was not successful, but he eventually encountered Master Mikado, the CEO of the Mikado Group, who agreed to pay for Dominique's treatment if he could adopt the young man. Dauragon accepted his offer, took "Mikado" as his family name, and spent the next several years rigorously training his mind and body to become a worthy successor for his benefactor's corporation. However, he began to harbor a great deal of resentment for the harsh world that he came from, and especially towards the doctors who turned his dying sister away. During his youth under the adoption of Master Mikado, it is believed he engaged in criminal and illegal activities in his spare time; many include plotting several attempts on Master Mikado's life, including hiring the help of Volt Krueger, to hasten the process of inheriting the Mikado Group, and systematically killing a new intern, Kaldea Orchid, to include as the first subject on the Group's confidential integrated cyborg robotics weapons project during his ownership.
After a successful attempt on Master Mikado's life, he then directed the Mikado Group's vast resources to build a weaponized satellite under the guise of a next generation energy system. Included in this was the construction of an android replica of Dominique, who was meant to be the activation piece for the satellite as its laser guidance CPU; however, Dominique eventually learned of her dark true purpose, and escaped into the streets of Edge to avoid being the centerpiece of her brother's vindictive and wrathful terror onto the world.
Upon Dominique's disappearance, Dauragon immediately began searches and investigations to find her. After a year of searching, he then sent a Special Forces squad under the lead of Mugetsu to kidnap her and began the launch of his plan. His mentor and advisor, Wong Leung (who had also taken in and trained Sion Barzahd), tried to stop Dauragon when he learned what his pupil planned to do, but Dauragon murdered the old man and fought Sion, Volt, and Kou to a standstill when they confronted him. He then boarded a ship called the Galeos and departed for space, where he used Dominique to activate the satellite's cannon and blew up the hospital that had turned them away. Sion, Volt, and Kou managed to board the Galeos and cornered Dauragon in the satellite control room, where he fought them while arguing that humans needed to be dominated by a powerful leader and insisting that they could never understand the hardship he had experienced.
After an intense series of fights, the three bouncers managed to defeat Dauragon and free Dominique. The four of them boarded a shuttle and evacuated the Galeos before it was destroyed in a collision with the satellite, leaving Dauragon's lifeless body to drift through the cold void of space.

The Bouncer tetralogy[]
This guy does spell out the meaning of terror!
He was first seen during a newsbreak as he plans to launch a solar-powered generator satellite, and it was a surprise since Edge are in grave recession. It was unknown on what harm people would have with the radiation raining down on Earth. He wasn't encountered till much later as Sion, Volt, Kou and Ayame met him at the Crsytal Dome with his servant Wong watching over Dominique. He orchestrated the capture of her by the Special Forces, and she must be taken to the Galeos, though Wong refused the CEO's orders as he knew he's using the Mikado Group for his vendettas. He then killed Wong with a sucker punch and confronted the 3 Bouncers. He said Dominique is his sister and made a handicap by tying one hand behind his back with a chain and assigned the black panther to sic onto them! The trio were lucky to survive his deadly blows, but he made the floor collapse and wound Sion, separating the trio!
As Ayame fled, his mind reflected of his dark past on having his sister dying and being turned down by a hospital in a stormy night. He was then taken in by Master Mikado and Wong. Several years later, Wong instructed Master Mikado should adopt him if he's worthy on inheriting the Mikado Group to which he succeeded; although it was revealed later, he orchestrated the murder of his father and framed Volt for the incident making Echidna soar thru the ranks and enlisting assassins such as Mugetsu after his ROBOTOMY surgery! He also established Mikado's Special Forces as well as cloning and experimenting on bionoid technology, with his new apprentice, Kaldea.
He then finished operating the Galeos and activated all the security robots in the rocket tower to slew the intruders. Even summon the PD-4s, till he activated the satellite as a trial for Dominique as an android. Mugetsu then retrieved her and brought her to the ship, where Dauragon started his destruction onto the Earth and using his sis as a laser-guiding computer. By the time the heroes reached the ship, Kaldea failed to stop them, and as she was sympathizing with his loneliness, Dauragon struck out his chain stabbing her in the back!! He said he'd no need for "pathetic sympathy from a bionoid."

Dauragon vs. Goten and Trunks
Sion stormed into the control room with Volt and Kou, and he declared that mankind should be ruled by power and terror, ruling the world with a deadly satellite by providing unlimited energy to his followers and destroying others! Sion implored Dominique to snap out of his control shutting down the system. In his rage, he used both arms in 3 agonizing battles wiping out the trio! Then he was ambushed by Goten, Trunks and Ayame and he fought the 2 Saiyans while Ayame revived the Bouncers. She was then held hostage as he'd rather use fear tactics to weigh over them, till Sion hit him with a Hurricane Blitz!! Ayame let out all her rage, then the kids did his own sucker punch, depleting his energy completely!
He was then seen in Sion's nightmares before his 20th birthday and manifesting his dark side, even his new indulgence, the pleasure of fighting for the hell of it!

Gotenks facing Dauragon's chimera
Finally, he was resurrected by the Dragon Balls, and he survived while being out in space! It was fridge logic, although he seemed to have so much dark aura that it manifested itself! He was able to clone and control members of the Yakuza, even mopping the floor with the 3 Bouncers at the central plaza! The trio were implanted with microchips altering the Gator Cortex as Mikado's new mind-controlling method and creating more loyal assassins! With the failed attempt to find Dominique, he was about to orchestrate a ritual removing people's fingers, till he was interrupted by Chiaotzu! With the mounting dark energy, he erupted and made the Dome collapse, even the whole foundation!! He survived then transformed into the dark chimera, putting Goten, Gohan and Trunks in shock! With Gotenks and Gohan in Super Saiyan 2, as well as combining their attacks, their Light Ki was able to eradicate the Dark Ki and incinerate Dauragon from inside out!!
At the Lookout, Korin came to the conclusion someone done his research and revived Dauragon with the Dragon Balls since Ayame made a wish in the Mikado Saga to erase all memories of him excepting the Bouncers and Z-Fighters.
Trivia[]
- His name is a veritable katakana pronunciation of the word "dragon." Likewise, dragons are a motif to Dauragon.
- In eastern literature, while dragons are often paired with tigers in terms of motifs and themes of characters to highlight the theme of two different yet relatable and equal mutually dualistic synchronistic forces, should they be paired with dog-themed characters, this is at best going further to represent understandable but incompatible forces that keep each other separate or irreconcilable enemies. This is likely inspired by the Eastern Zodiac, which cites that dog and dragon signs are one of the six worst pairings that do not work out with each other; the dog, obedient, righteous, principled, and down to earth, find the dragon ostentatious, law-bending, and elitist, while the dragon, flamboyant, rigorous, devil may care, yet virtuous and commanding, finds the dog too dour and easily hampered by limits, including finding fault with its cynicism and its own double standards. This may be highlighted with Sion, who has a dog theme to his character.
- Before the 4th fight that shows the red dragon tattoo on Dauragon's back after removing the straps from his overalls, references real-life yakuza in Japan where they are known to have dragon tattoos on their backs.
- Interestingly, Kazuma Kiryu, the main protagonist from Sega's Yakuza series, also has a dragon tattoo on his back beneath his primary attire.
- His English voice actor, Richard Cansino, is also best known for voicing the titular Kenshin Himura of the chanbara historical fiction anime series Rurouni Kenshin. Kenshin is also known to practice Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu, a kenjutsu style with dragon themes.
- His attire of overalls alludes to the traditional attire of hakama, where they found their use prominently by higher class samurai and martial artists. Being bare-chested while wearing these overalls also is a more "modern" and fashion innovative take on wearing hakama barechested as well, as doing so represents going all out and without mercy. A design comparison may be made with Geese Howard of Fatal Fury in this regard.
- The nature of his overalls alluding to hakama may also be in reference to the term of "being worthy enough of filling in your predecessor's shoes," as they give the impression of rather a large hakama adapted to be worn regularly.
- He is similar to Rufus Shinra of Final Fantasy VII, though with a more vengeful and hateful character. Like Rufus, Dauragon is the inheritor of a multi-billion-dollar international industry with a great world influence and plans on using fear to control the populace; however, Rufus does so in his own enjoyment, rather than Dauragon doing so out of hatred and unresolved anger with the world.
- Ikran always gave him the nickname, the tower of terror, since she grew terrified of him since Summer 2002! His dark chimera form was fitting since he was more like a dragon! He was also inspired by the Dissidia Shuffle wiki describing him...
- She also put Dauragon as one of her favorite video game villains on a countdown on YouTube.
- He was also chosen as one of her 12 Creepiest Enemies, in which she called him as the Tower of Terror! He gave Ikran so many angsts ever since before she started high school!
- Dauragon too was chosen as one of her Video Game Umbrakinetics.
