Diana Ernestine Earle Ross is an American singer, actress and record producer. She rose to fame as a member of The Supremes, before later leaving the group to forge a solo career, with songs such as "Chain Reaction", "I'm Coming Out", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (originally by Marvin Gaye), "Upside Down", "Endless Love", a duet with Lionel Richie, and "Love Hangover". She has also ventured into film, notably in the movies The Wiz, as Dorothy, and Lady Sings The Blues, in which she played the ill fated vocalist Billie Holiday.
She wrote the song Story of A Lost Paradise for The Quest for Beasts movie Rise of Babylon.
The Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross version of "Endless Love" is performed in Captain Underpants: The Movie.
