Dodrio (Japanese: ドードリオ Doodorio) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

Dodrio was a close friend to Rapidash and Epona while in the ranch, even when it had its chance on revenge mauling his abuser, Ingo. He caught up with the escapees as Zelda II challenged Link to a friendly race to Kokiri Forest. He functioned as the Trainer's secondary method of transport.

Dodrio, along with Doduo, helped Akari find Slowbro and Slowking in Level 31, particularly Al's Diner. The crime was said to be high, so they needed to be hasty on getting Dot slow food to heal from her magnetism; however, Al and his waiter were so incompetent, they infuriated the hippos and birds! They escaped as Megabyte's viral forces were chasing them into a Game. Dodrio was the best method of transport on account of flight and speed! He was incredibly versatile and well-balanced.
