Dot Matrix is a Sprite living in Mainframe. She is the daughter of Welman Matrix, and the sister of Enzo Matrix, and later Little Enzo. Dot is extremely organized, always having a plan for any situation. She is a businesswoman, owner of Dot's Diner and business partner in several other businesses in Mainframe, including Al's Wait & Eat and opening business with the Saucy Mare. Dot carries an organizer to keep track of all her businesses, to the point where Bob wonders if there is a business in Mainframe she doesn't own.
When Dot was a young adult, her father had developed a new invention called the Gateway Command. Dot put her organizational skills to use in helping prepare him for its demonstration. She promised to be there when he unveiled it in the Twin City, but lost track of time during the construction of Dot's Diner in Baudway Sector and never made it to the demonstration. The Gateway accidentally pulled the virus Gigabyte into the System, and he damaged the Gateway causing it to explode destroying the Twin City and nullifying everyone there.
Just after the Twin City was destroyed Dot and Enzo went to the ruins to try and find their father. Bob arrived in the system by a portal. He felt guilty for the destruction because he had failed to stop Gigabyte before he was pulled to the Twin City. Bob decided to stay in Mainframe and be its Guardian.
Dot continued to grow her business connections through the next few years and grew very close to Bob. Through Bob and her businesses, she also began helping Phong run the city. She was eventually put in charge of the CPU defense force and also was in charge of security for the Archives.
Dot used to have a small car that she used to get around Mainframe. Soon after Bob arrived in Mainframe, she sold the last of her two cars and began using zip boards as her primary way to get around the city.
The ReBoot Multiuniverse[]
Dot was pursuing Bob after she realized he was heading to Megabyte's Silicon Tor when she spotted the newcomers, Akari with her Doduo. They first teamed up, even during the Trainer's first Game, as she used her Chansey, Kangaskhan and Mr. Mime to fend off the virus! Dot became fascinated with her Pokémon, even when Akari worked against them in one Game as her Wigglytuff put her and Bob to sleep as they were fighting with each other rather than saving the System. Since then, Akari had bitter feelings with her as she was only a business-driven person to the point of being a control freak! Heck, Samus intervened as she captured the Crimson Binome before Dot made some connections with them! Their relationship was drawing further apart as Akari was more battle-driven and more versatile than she was. Even when she kept feeling sorry for herself as her Flying-Types took on the User at the Funhouse. This demonstrated how proactive the Trainer and her many friends were!
They took on the frontlines separately during the Great Web War, though Dot became moreso after Bob was shot into the Web, while also keeping Mainframe's defenses up against Megabyte and Hex, while also training Guardian Enzo as he storms into Games. She was all alone as Enzo, AndrAIa, Frisket, Akari, Mewtwo and half her Pokémon were taken away in a Game Cube as they lost to Zaytan.
Dot tearfully reunited with Matrix and reluctantly accepted Bob as her lover after the pep talk with Mouse. She still functioned as Mainframe's savior at an abandoned warehouse while she, Mouse and Hack and Slash escaped the Principal Office overrun by Megabyte. She took on the frontlines again as the rebels took it back and Matrix defeated the virus. She tried her best to keep the System online during the System crash but was successful for a brief period as her efforts were useless in a dead state. After the User restored the System, her feelings for Bob flourished, to the point on kissing him!
In the Net War, she kept on the defenses with Phong and Specky, even tackling a Game at one point. She also managed to allow Hex to restore Welman partially as the green Null, Nibbles. As she was struggling to reason with Mouse, then keep the System secure from her hacking skills, she ordered Enzo into a Game till he can compile as another Matrix while she got infected and took control over Mainframe. Until she was thwarted by Samus and her comrades, specifically Donkey Kong!! She had her butch bazooka fighting the ape, though he was more powerful and outmaneuvered her before she should get to the War Room! She was unconscious till the countdown of the infected cronies began. Dot reunited with Bob, who informed her the Cron virus will delete everything in the Net! Hexadecimal made the sacrifice to spread the cure, and she asked Bob to marry her! Akari then pulled a rant on how incompetent she and the defenders were, and all props should get to Enzo and the Smashers!
She returned years later, only to find Dot defenseless over Gnosis and the new Trojan Megabyte! Akari didn't hesitate to toss her away and took the frontlines herself while Bob became a Code Master! She soon married Bob more properly when the war was over.
