CrazyBear

Crazy Bear (ABE)

Dr.clash

In anime

Dr. Clash is an F-Zero engineer unable to give up his dream of becoming an F-Zero pilot. He created a special gadget to compensate for his limited athletic abilities, and, after spending years of research to customize his F-Zero machine, finally got to race.

Biography[]

Dr. Clash was a former F-Zero engineer who would eventually become an F-Zero pilot by the time of the F-Zero X Grand Prix. After having taken into account the accident from three years prior, Dr. Clash designed the Crazy Bear, a machine of his own, and entered the new Grand Prix. He also designed Beastman's Hyper Speeder.

Although Clash didn't win, he entered once more the following year.

His name was Theodore Clash. Decades back, he was known as a pro when it came to science and technology; he always had the highest minds than all of the other students, even in college where he was unsurpassable. He remembered competing and winning in many science fairs. But despite his success, he never got any attention, as the pupil body were interested in athletes instead of nerds. He always called himself "a supertonic geekoid." He was well-known as not just an engineer, but also an atomic scientist and an inventor. He's a fan of old-time rock and roll, and he recalled having eight custom-made machines and seventeen prospects in his career. He used to look up to his idols from the first F-Zero race, until he identified who the latter two were. The waiting took his toll, and he made the Crazy Bear in order to assist his limited mobility, making him equal to the prowess of the more experienced pilots. He joined the Grand Prix during the big accident, and he was the most fortunate next to Super Arrow thanks to the machine's advanced safety features. He was disappointed that it was suspended for a good, long while, until X came around. Sadly, he lost against Captain Falcon, but the rest was history.

F-Zero GX[]

Dr. Clash appears in the F-Zero GX Story Mode during Chapter 3, working as a bartender at the Bet & Race Dollars bar in Mute City. After Silver Neelsen pleaded Captain Falcon to enter the bet race under disguise as 'Famicom,' Dr. Clash found the disguise to be humorous.

In his interviews, he reveals that he has greater plans for a machine called the Giant Bear.

F-Zero GP Legend[]

Anime[]

Dr. Clash's anime counterpart was portrayed as a promising mechanic of the Elite Mobile Task Force. He was eventually assigned an apprentice in the form of Lucy Liberty, resulting in two mechanics on the Task Force.

It is presumed that Dr. Clash also designed the Dragon Bird, as the anime counterpart of Captain Falcon requested the Task Force members (Jody Summer and Dr. Stewart's anime counterparts) to install one of the Reactor Mights within the machine for the savior of the galaxy, Rick Wheeler.

GP Legend game[]

He was supposed to be escorted by the anime counterpart of Captain Falcon, but was captured by Zoda. Clash was then brought to Black Shadow, but Falcon would end up rescuing Clash, to which Jody Summer was grateful for.

Clash in the heavens with Douglas Jay Falcon and Haruka

Clash was the nerd aforementioned above, but he was also the inventor of Tinsel's Silver Comet, a prototype vehicle which was sculptured from a cold sleep capsule. This was the lightest, and most experimental, machine he's ever made, even had a built-in weapon with the ice jets. When Tinsel resigned as an F-Zero racer, Clash volunteered to repair and keep the Comet safely in his garage. 12 years later, she finally went to it and participated in the sport once more. He kept losing to Falcon, and she overheard his angsts on losing and wishing to make a difference, rather than working at the stingy bar.

He had his prayers answered as he joined the Elite Mobile Task Force as their most prominent inventor and engineer. Falcon gave him the schematics to make the Dragon Bird, his own magnum opus, and store a Reactor Might in it. He boasted it was unstoppable with the right pilot, and it still needed some tweaks ever since Rick used it. By the time the team was captured by Dark Million, he was brainwashed as one of Black Shadow's promising mechanics, even advancing the vehicles, redesigning Dark Soldiers, invaded one of the megacorporations in Port Town while stealing a large ROB, and partially designing the Dark Reactor Core with it.

Soon, his mind began to crack and during a race, he pleaded Rick to end his life. He refused, and Clash admired his valiance; he confessed he's the galaxy last hope and only he can save it. Eventually, Rick did the unthinkable, and he remained in heaven with the late Falcon, Haruka's kindred spirit, and soon the ancient Egyptian pharaoh, Yami/Atem. He still watches over the heroes to this day, and he's survived by Lucy, Clank, EAD, and the Mighty Gazelle.
