Drahmin is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, who made his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
Drahmin made his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as one of two Oni, demons of the 5th plane of the Netherrealm. He wields an iron club mounted on his right arm, has a sword lodged into his left shoulder and wears a mask, which is an artifact called the Face of Kun-Lo. Wearing it allows him to control his rage and fight with his disciplined Netherrealm style. Removing it causes him to go into Oni style where he loses his focus and attacks with murderous insanity.
Drahmin was not always a demon; as centuries ago, he was a cruel human warlord in Outworld. For his crimes, he died and was exiled to the Netherrealm where his body and soul were to be tortured for all eternity. As the years dragged on, he fell further and further into insanity until his humanity was lost altogether. He eventually accepted his fate and submitted to the power of the Netherrealm, re-emerging from the depths of the Netherrealm as Drahmin: the Oni Tormentor.
Mortal Kombat: Vengeance[]
Raiden mentioned to the heroes once that Moloch and Drahmin had escaped from the Netherrealm around the same time as Quan Chi.
Drahmin emerged inside the Lost Tomb, after his bulky partner, when he sent an array of flies onto the heroes. They stunned them, but they recovered before he made his move. Hanzo identified the two Onis, and Aiko queried who should help him. Jax challenged Moloch while Scorpion took on the more agile Oni. They were almost evenly matched, in terms of swordplay and nimbleness; however, Hanzo's pyrokinesis broke away the oncoming flies, even burning Drahmin's mask! Both demons lost to him and Jax, then Lao stormed and strangled Drahmin, demanding the whereabouts and his assistance against the Deadly Alliance. He refused to help and discouraged they'll fail. Lao was about to rip off his mask, though Hanzo stopped him as Drahmin wore the Face of Kun-Lo which enabled him to be stable and precise, contrary to his more maniacal side. Moloch was the one who tracked the heroes down, and Drahmin didn't want their interference! Lao was about to make another mark, till Drahmin warped next to his partner, declaring he'll hunt for him on his own due to his treachery, and they're heading to his own death trap!
The trap being Moloch's Lair entered by the Kombatants, now joined by Baraka and Bo' Rai Cho. He ambushed the group inside the torture chamber with the usual pesty fly swarms and teamed up with Moloch against Hanzo and the Tarkatan! Prior to the battle, Shang mentioned that the Onis were well fed by the unable Sun Do prisoners beneath the upcoming Palace and to make sure no harm would befall Quan Chi. Drahmin was quite the formidable opponent as Baraka and Hanzo were weakened by his lethal metal club, until his mask was scarred. He then made a desperate attempt ripping off his mask and continuously punished the duo, along with Moloch's fatal ball and chain! Liu's spirit advised Baraka mentally to impale Drahmin with Lao's broadsword, which he aimed to his bare face! Baraka then turned him to chop suey and stabbed the pile of flesh before he finished off Moloch!
Final Kombat[]
Drahmin teamed up with Moloch during the Battle of Armageddon as Johnny fought him off. Luckily not even his armor nor club was enough to shield him from the fatal firestorm!
