Edward Chris von Muir is a playable character from Final Fantasy IV and its sequel, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. He is the crown prince of Damcyan, and in line to become the seventh king. Although he is required to be educated in politics, Edward shows greater interest in music and often leaves the kingdom disguised as a bard to travel the land with his harp.
Trials of a King/Conquest of the Blue Planet[]
Edward was seen during Cecil's night terror in which he was undead, along with several other friends, persuading him to join the Injukhal and not have the same fate as them.
In the second story, Edward was first seen as he played the Harp at Tenebre after Domin brainwashed Cecil. He reversed his power over the island, even though the umbra pulses caused an airship to crash. Edward was able to restore Cecil's mind and moments later he was held hostage by Domin and his men. Luckily, Yang, Edge, Kain and others came into the fray and gave him a chance to escape! He would've fought alongside them too. He also saw the horrific, though astonishing sight of Golbez as the Shadow Dragon murdering Domin! He saw the Glamour Greens, brought back the Fire Crystal, and noticed Ceodore being announced as the new prince.
