Emperor Sheev Palpatine
The Emperor (birth name: Palpatine) is the central and secondary antagonist of Brendam: Return of the Jedi and a minor character in Brendam: There and Back Again. His fate is gets defeated by Bernard by trapping him in logs. He appears as Fearless Leader, Boris Badenov, and Natasha Fatale's leader and boss, and part of the film's Big Bad Ensemble. He is Cecil Creek's arch-nemesis. At the end of the movie, he performs a Heel–Face Turn, reuiniting with Cecil after his defeat.

  • He is simillar to:
    • Thunderclap from The Good Dinosaur:
      • Both are nemesises of the protagonists.
      • Both first appear near the film's climax.
      • Both say their mottos ("The Storm Provides!" and "I Love My Gold!").
      • Both later become evil and mean.
      • Both pretend to be good (The Emperor pretends to be good until his film's climax; Thunderclap pretended to be good until the climax of his film).
      • Both are defeated by the protagonists at the end.
    • Smaug from The Hobbit (2012-2014):
      • Both live in lairs filled with treasures
      • Both decide to kill the protagonists (Bernard and Bilbo)
      • Both gets destroyed by the protagonists
    • Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2
      • Both are evil and first appear at the films' prolouge.
      • Both love their joys (cannons and gold)
      • Both get defeated by the main protagonist (Bernard buries Palpatine into the ground; Po defeats Shen with cannons).
    • King Louie from the 2016 Jungle Book film
      • Both are very evil animals who have a big passion for shiny things and a desire to become as powerful as mankind.
      • Both sing thieir songs at the climax (King Louie orders Mowgli to give him fire by singing "I Wanna Be Like You" and while revealing his true nature, Palpatine sings "Selfishness Would Be Bad".)
    • Rudy from Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs:
      • They are both top animals in their homes.
      • They are archenemies to a protagonist and also seek revenge for their lost limbs (Rudy want revenge on Buck for tearing off his tooth; while Palpatine wants revenge on Cecil for ripping off his hair).
    • However the only diference is that while Smaug, Shen and Rudy were the main antagonists in their movies, Palpatine, Thunderclap, and Louie were the secondary antagonists.
  • Despite being the central antagonist, he is first seen at the start of the movie. He is never seen again until at the beginning of the climax of the film, when he ambushes Cecil and Bernard (not counting the middle of the movie, he is metioned by Fearless Leader, who tells the Guardians of Brendam, "We work for the king!", while touring his home, and talking to Fearless Leader on a big screen and computers around his home.)
