Falcon's Fortress (unofficial name) refers to a location in the F-Zero GX Story Mode that Captain Falcon frequently visits. It has been described as a hideout or garage, as the Blue Falcon can be seen resting on a platform towards the right of the area, provided Falcon enters from an alleyway.

Fortress Garage
Though it is not known where exactly the area is located, it seems to be behind a machine shop, as Falcon passes by a group of pilots watching Black Shadow on the news, and the scene transitions to him walking down an alleyway just moments afterwards. There is also a plaque of a falcon outside the alleyway entrance, to which Captain Falcon must be scanned in order to be allowed entry.

Fortress main area
The interior area is octagonal in shape, with two parallel sides being a little longer than the rest. It is here where Falcon engages in a simulation during Chapter 1 of the Story Mode. The surrounding setting is not known, but may be implied to be Mute City due to the fact the venue in the simulation is based on Mute City with some elements of Casino Palace, the latter of which is on the outskirts of Mute City.
In Chapter 9, Falcon is seen once more in the area, after having won the Ultimate Champion's Belt following the defeat of Deathborn. The Creator then comes out of the belt, challenging Falcon to a race for his soul. After defeating The Creator, Falcon is warped back to the 'fortress' area. He takes his helmet off and steps further inside, marking the last time he would ever be seen in a main F-Zero game.
Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
The Fortress was first seen as it transformed from a worn-down abode to a racetrack beheld by Tinsel in Falcon's Followers. Yugi and Joey never saw it as they were battling a punk Duelist. It's stationed at Port Town, and Falcon won over his simulation of Mute City collecting capsules, but he was determined to participate in the GX Grand Prix as he saw a newsbreak from Black Shadow.
By the time the competition was over, Falcon had shown Tinsel and the Duelists his own personal quarters, and they'd stayed there till they pursued him to Fire Field while facing Deathborn. Luckily, Blood Falcon never breached the place!
Still, they returned after the ruler's defeat, and hung up the Ultimate Championship Belt, only to be pestered by the Creators. They churned it into their own turf, the Phantom Road as Falcon challenged them while the trio were imprisoned in their Monsters' Cards. Luckily, he won over them, and the Fortress returned to normal. As the heroes left, they vowed to keep the location top secret, and Falcon wished for someone to carry on his victories.

It wasn't seen again until he decided to train Rick on utilizing the Booster Fire technique and test him in various simulations! By the time the Rising Star bested him at the Slim-Line Slits, he presented himself as Douglas Jay Falcon, and the mantle was his, but Rick turned it down; Jack was also brought there, even Tinsel again. As Rick received the mantle, it was inherited to him and Tinsel! It was also seen as a starting point for Wheeler's first mission, as well as an occasional hangout, even when they payed off the mortgage and received their wedding gifts such as the tribal outfits and drums of Giant, and Goroh's Taiko! They even rehearsed their dance there, even Clank and Alias visited once as they watched a Star Trek docu-film, and the Guardians of the Galaxy called and congratulated the soon-to-be couple. Finally, it was officially theirs permanently just before their honeymoon!
