This will be the fifth and perhaps the last book written by TheIkranRider in her own MK Khronology. This would of course take place after the events of her last epic, Mortal Kombat: The Return of the Dragon King. The events of the best warriors in all the realms shall make one last and brutal stand that would bring each domain into Armageddon as Blaze, Taven, and Daegon finally awaken after centuries of slumber.
Prologue[]
Soon after Liu Kang reunited his soul with his recovered body, Kitana settled with him at Edenia for a while. However, due to having his duties as protector of Earthrealm, Liu soon left... He went with Kitana recollecting all the wrong doings she committed as being one of Onaga's generals and lamented on all the wars she and her allies fought. Suddenly, she encountered a mysterious fiery entity who went by the name of Blaze, then Kitana cried on when the battles would end, as there'd always be a more powerful enemy after each victory... He assured that if things go as planned, then Armageddon shall put an end to her enemies at long last.
Meanwhile, there was a disturbing vision in which all the Kombatants, within two factions, clashed each other brutally, scaring away a vulture munching on a corpse. Kintaro led the massive army of darkness, while the forces of light rushed into the fray! Moments later, a pyramid rose from beneath the ground, and Stryker punched an assailant which kickstarted the murderous race to the summit! As Shang Tsung was being halted, the warriors witnessed the same elemental Kitana met, roaring and declaring to erase everyone!
Only...that vision played out inside Raiden's mind and his amulet which was beginning to show cracks on the surface... With Liu Kang witnessing his master in distress, the Thunder God then told his promising disciple of a long ancient secret... Armageddon has begun.
At the same time, a mysterious elderly Oriental gazed upon the same amulet within a dark cave at an unknown location. He too was alarmed that Armageddon was close at hand...
Con't I: Welcome to the Jungle...[]
It started when Delia received premonitions of Armageddon, which were driving her husband, Argus, to construct the Pyramid, put their sons into an extended slumber, and await the awakening of Blaze to put an end to their enemies, including Shao Kahn who's said he'd invade Edenia with no interest in Earthrealm (in which he predicted wrong). He hoped that Delia's visions were true and accurate, and their sons shall be ready to end the apocalypse. And that their guardian dragons would watch over them.
Within Earthrealm, a monolith of golden etchings shattered, awakening the oldest of their sons, Taven. He soon met up with his guardian, Orin, who informed he had awakened after some time; while he was talking to Argus, he fell into unconsciousness, and that special weapons were awaiting him. Taven was unsure what they were for, yet he still accepted the offer, and Orin as his navigator conjured a portal leading to the Botan Jungle en route to Argus' temple.
Taven was still confounded as to why it'd be in Earthrealm instead of Edenia, and why he would awaken there...
He followed the dirt road till he came across Kitana, who introduced herself and was on a lone journey to gather all warriors for Armageddon as prophesized by Blaze. Although, being one of the chosen ones awakened to prevent it, Kitana challenged Taven to prove himself he's the real deal! He was successful and the princess was impressed. Kitana was searching in seclusion, even slipping away from the kingdom without noting anyone... She pointed Taven toward the ruins, although she thought to herself the protector god and his wife were dead...
Taven came across a monolith which echoed an elderly voice, when he touched it, he was transported to an Edenian tomb, and was greeted by a hooded figure believing to be his father via illusion! He trained and honed his skills before he wound up in the jungle again.
Taven was soon ambushed by some Red Dragon thugs in the deserted village, but he was able to reach the heart of the pyramid, which was littered by corpses and deathly traps, where he found Argus' altar and his father appeared before him, informing the prodigy of a battle to save all the realms. Only to be knocked out by one of the revived Sektor's rockets!
Sektor, Grandmaster of the new Tekunin klan, tortured Taven of the message he received by Argus, in which he was unable to receive. Taven refused to give him answers, and he was weakened until the warship was attacked by the Special Forces led by General Blade! He narrowly escaped after he defeated Sektor and his terroristic followers as it crashlanded into the jungle floor! He soon returned to Orin that he was unsuccessful on finding the so-called weapon his father left, and he found it peculiar some of the crime factions were on the rise... He figured he may find the answers within Arctika and made a portal leading to it.
Con't II: Expedition in Arctika[]
Final Kombat (Con't II)
Taven makes his way to Arctika, to the far reaches of the Northern Pole, although his journey was thwarted by the Tengu klan. Some Lin Kuei scouts noticed the fray. After he defeated an Ice Beast, he came across another, only he was assisted by a missile who later turned out to be from Smoke! He offered to escort him to seek asylum at the Lin Kuei base from the monstrous blizzard.
The Grandmaster, Kuai Liang, stood before Taven, even Frost. They offered him to stay until the storm would pass. He explained he was looking for Delia's temple, to which they'd no knowledge of. They...attempted to use the ethernet, but it did them no such luck.
As the snowstorm finally subsided, he noticed another one of those eerie monoliths, only emitting red. He then touched it which transported him inside another obelisk where he met a hologram of his mom, training him against the Snow Ninjas. The Lin Kuei still remained outside, though they noticed a flash of lightning; at first, they thought it was snow thunder, but it only turned out to be Raiden to their surprise!
They stated Taven's disappearance and awaiting his return, but the Thunder God still needed to regroup Sub-Zero, Smoke and Frost, while he sent Sareena to meet up with his new godly apprentice, Ashrah!
Still, the Lin Kuei wished Taven a safe journey as they escorted him to Delia's temple. Until they'd been incapacitated by Rain who seems to know much about him. Still, Taven was barely able to best him, despite the hydrokinesis disabling his pyrokinesis temporarily; thanks to his brute strength and his Drakesword, though, Rain eventually dissipated. The place instead was defended by more of their ranks, even archers and some flaming cannons.
He eventually found the Ice Scepter, along with several relics. He was eventually ambushed by Sub-Zero, although he soon discovered he's the elder brother, Bi-Han. He'd been searching for Kuai in the past few months, surprised he was willing to relocate to Arctika as Taven pointed out the fortress.
He actually took notice of the dragon tattoo Taven had on his face, commenting that it was similar to the one on the unopened vault door behind him. Taven, however, tried to open the door and succeeded and acquired the armor his mother left for him. Taven then asked Sub-Zero about the dragon symbol worn by the people that were hunting him down. The ninjas informed Taven they identified the men belonging to the Red Dragons; the same ones he dealt with back in the Botan Jungle. They revealed his location in Charred Mountain.
As Taven made it out, the ninjas grew petrified. They received word from the Grandmaster who also had intel from the Special Forces that Sektor returned form the dead; they thought it was Oniro, before Sonya identified the new Tekunin clan, to which it sounded familiar to Taven from that warship capture.
He was, however, confused as to why his parents' temples resided in Earthrealm instead of Edenia, perhaps as relocation before Kahn's invasion, they theorized...
Still, they were alarmed of Sektor's uprising with the Red Dragons; they wonder what it boded.
Taven returned to Orin and informed him the Red Dragons are at large and may had stolen Argus' sacred weapon. Orin noticed he wore a newer set of armor, but he was uneasy with the uprising of enemies... Still, he conjured him a portal to Charred Mountain.
Con't III: Double-Cross[]
Final Kombat (Con't III)
Taven wound up within the Krimson Forest and in the middle of another Red Dragon melee; although they seemed to be more skilled in kombat and their outfits were brighter, as if they seemed to be higher in rank. Still, he was able to decimate them all and headed straight for the ironclad fortress which was the gang's hideout.
On the tropical island, the mysterious Oriental awakened from his meditation and noticed Taven thru the mystical portal ahead of him; it looked as if he was watching him overhead. He also noticed Fujin heading towards him, but before he made a move, he was frozen still. The Oriental tugged his arm, and it remained still then he proceeded to the base.

Concept of the mysterious Oriental
Taven made it inside and fought off several more of the terrorists, even utilizing the nearby flammable and gas canisters to wipe out their numbers. Upon his victory, he was able to recollect his maneuver on freezing time which seemed vital against the Red Dragons! He was, however, startled he finally came across his long, lost brother, Daegon! To his surprise, he seemed a lot older than him; ironic since Taven was once the older brother. Daegon had actually awakened ages before him, thus having a head start on their parents' quest. Since then, he was able to establish the Red Dragon clan. Still, Taven was confused as to why he sent them after him, Daegon sneered to kill Taven so that he could claim the same prize Rain mentioned! Taven was disheartened of the betrayal, and Daegon sicced his commander, Mavado, onto him who just detected Blaze!
Taven was able to match him evenly in kombat, but none of the men knew that a certain someone rose and launched a firebomb onto the fortress!! As Taven was strangling Mavado to demand answers, the cunning count of the Red Dragons escaped! Thanks to his recent move he remembered, the Escape maneuver, Taven was able to get out before the base exploded and soon the mountain collapsed dousing the fire! He then took the same portal back to Orin.
Fujin was soon able to move from his immobilized state! He was flabbergasted the Red Dragon hideout went up in flames! Meanwhile, the same elemental that launched the attack caused some enemies to scurry out before he conjured a fiery portal and freed Caro! He urged the dragon to hurry out before his slaver should return. With some limps and a canter, Caro made it thru and wound up on the same tropical island his rescuer was in! He toppled and his Edenian partner tended him with a cushion and fresh fruit. The Oriental soon gave Caro some Jinsei energy at the brink of death! They sympathized with him and knew who he was, but they weren't sure how and why Daegon turned on him.
Caro explained that he mistakenly awakened Daegon for the quest far too soon; he lost contact with the fire spawn ages ago, and he thought it was the time to start his parents' quest to prevent Armageddon. Alas, Daegon went insane finding out about it and killed both Argus and Delia! The Asian was outraged of his treachery and he had a tremendous head start against Taven; since then, he organized his own Red Dragon clan, forcing Caro as a test subject, mascot, and a portal transporter across all realms! The God hoped he assassinated the lot of them, even the Black Dragons, despite seeing some of his enemies escape. He promised to look over Taven and destroy them and Daegon if he must...
Taven returned to Orin, and he was saddened his brother betrayed him and created the clan as a manhunt onto him, even abusing Caro. He received word from a God of sorts of the news the base was destroyed, and the Black Dragons made their own clan after defecting from the Red Dragons due to intense rule. Taven became so distraught and fumed, not even Orin had answers, just sympathy. Taven then hypothesized what if Daegon stole the weapons and might have killed their parents...? He also wondered why their temples would be in Earthrealm instead of Edenia.
Con't IV: Summons[]
Final Kombat Con't IV)
Aiko was seen within her dystopian world, being as part of a refugee camp always scavenging for resources and moving from sanctuary to sanctuary in order to hide from the undead legion lead by two sorcerers who destroyed Nature and all of Earthrealm! On one fateful night, the Revenants found the head of her kamp as he alarmed Aiko that they'd found them! It was too late as the cardiokinetic hid herself while she watched her one guardian get massacred by them for ransom as they took over the abandoned facility. While she couldn't drive, she escaped and drove around in a nearby defective vehicle and was about to ram it into the cluster of undead consisting of Liu Kang who led the legion, Kitana, Nightwolf, Kung Lao, Kabal, Stryker and Kuai! A millisecond before she made contact, she was immediately transported to another time period when everything was clean and intact underneath a clear night sky! Aiko struggled to escape after she failed to break the car before it got wrecked near an alley wall! She then heard a male call her, thinking it was still the zombified Champion. Only...it was Kung Lao!
Kung Lao awakened Aiko, as they'd been sharing a bed together in her room, and he wondered if she was alright while she was flailing as if having a nightmare. She murmured it was nothing, though he was still concerned... It was actually a series of a few other night terrors she had escaping from her dystopian world. As they had breakfast, Jin's mom couldn't get enough of the sudden newsbreak in which it spoke in Mandarin; Lao translated there was a sudden firebomb in Charred Mountain, Amazonia, as if by a meteor, which incinerated many Red and Black Dragon members. Everyone was nervous with the rise of their former enemies, but Raiden contacted the duo for a summons at the Dragon Grotto; they knew for certain at such a desolate location, it wasn't good....
Via portal, Raiden summoned Liu, Lao, Kitana, Aiko, Nightwolf, even Kuai, Frost, Smoke, Kenshi, and Hanzo to the sacred springs, while Ashrah would pep talk with Sareena. There was also a scout named Frederick San who tagged along with the Edenian as he found her on the Botan Jungle Road soon after she met up with Taven! Some asked why Sareena was with the new Light Goddess, and the God stated she must be protected of a certain sorcerer's influence. He was miffed he couldn't get Fujin to summon the Special Forces; Nightwolf and Smoke offered to record the summons, though. Raiden explained he'd been receiving disturbing visions of Armageddon, even showing Liu his angsts along with the amulet he received as an Elder God; he wasn't sure what it meant till now... Kitana heard of Blaze, as a means to wipe out her enemies, although she never wanted her people to know. The Shokan had enough problems relocating to Australia to start anew.
There was a flashback in which she mentioned Goro and Sheeva discussing with Sindel on not being bodyguards nor staying in Outworld... All of a sudden, Kintaro shown up!! Goro immediately took on the offensive and won, though he never wanted to kill him, as he became more peaceful despite kindness being forbidden by Kahn. Goro was reluctant, yet Sheeva believed he'd be a new recruit... Kitana also introduced Frederick San; a scout who rumor had it he was once a demon yet despises the underworld. Hanzo stated to Raiden they may spy on their enemies while Frost suggested to cut the numbers short in which only tainted souls shall tread. Raiden said it won't be possible since their nemeses may be resurrected before Armageddon should start, although espionage was the better method. He made the offer, but only for a few people with a taint should go. The team was assembled while Liu helped to settle matters with Kitana's cause.
Fujin arrived via funnel, but Liu and Kitana mentioned he was too late... The Special Forces were in tow, only to have Johnny exasperated since he felt he was summoned for nothing!
Con't V: Hell Tour[]
Final Kombat (Con't V)
Raiden decided, much to his dismay, the group shall infiltrate Shinnok's Spire. They wondered how Raiden knew and he summarized approaching the Fire Well would be too predictable. They took Kharon's Ship thru the Bloody Sea as using a portal'd be easily detectable, even for Frederick to use one. As a fallen Elder God shall never be underestimated. The group fought well on deck, until there was a slight problem... Aiko began to have a severe headache and soon lightheadedness and nausea. While the ship was under assault by undead legions, Aiko wandered too close to the edge and was delirious from her sickness, and eventually fell off!! Kung Lao screamed for her, and nearly chased after her, after Raiden warned the damned would fall forever, until...

Caro's wings
A certain red dragon swept her into the air as she landed on his back! She was amazed she was riding a real dragon!! She wondered who he was and he introduced himself as Caro, a former mascot of the Red Dragons and guardian of Daegon against his will... It was until a Champion and elemental God came to his rescue and sent him to the Netherrealm at the nick of time to assist the team; he also seemed to be following Taven whom she didn't know... Caro breathed fire onto the enemies and accidentally sunk Kharon's Ship, although the team managed to reach an island near the Spire, thanks to Frederick's blip spell!
Several floors up while fighting off several Imps, Summon Demons, and Demon Warmongers like a gauntlet match, they met up with the injured kleric, Havik! He was wounded by Taven and left for dead by Shinnok, and he was very bitter when Aiko restored him via her heart jewel. To avoid a conflict, Lao just made a sucker punch onto him for spatting at them after being healed, although Havik was overjoyed since Lao remembered the ways of chaos and unpredictability. He was also ecstatic that Armageddon would soon be upon all the realms, and Hanzo offered to take him to the Chaosrealm for recuperation. Caro made the portal there. They met up with Taven who seemed to be fighting other Kombatants in which Raiden assured they were dark illusions conjured by Shinnok, while he was on the hunt for Daegon. Lao and Aiko tuned out the quarrel as the tempting omnipresence led them to Shinnok who was gravely injured!

Aiko's corrupt heart gem by Shinnok
They soon met up with the fallen Elder God...who wasn't himself. His face was lifeless and battered, hardly mobile. Thanks to his last encounter with the rare specimen, he was able to conjure a dark heart jewel which seemed to jog lost memories of Cetrion and Kronika! Ever since he was casted into the Netherrealm, he lost all memory of them, yet he still remained outraged of the Elder Gods! For once, Raiden and company agreed they were petty. Shinnok sensed Raiden's dark aura being reformed in Earthrealm after his sacrifice onto Onaga, and the mentor wondered if he knew of Blaze and Armageddon, and thanks to consuming the positive energy, Shinnok unleashed his energy thus a duplicate; he begged them to get his amulet, in which the God refused.
Without transport, Caro offered to make a portal back to Earth, and assist Taven against Daegon as the rip closed!
Con't VI: Pep Talks[]
Final Kombat (Con't VI)
As the team made it back to Earthrealm, the area before the entrance to the Dragon Grotto, Caro collapsed from overexertion. Kenshi was the first to notice the team emerge and Nightwolf asked how long they'd been gone, as the Netherrealm tended to speed up time; he stated they'd only been gone around 15 minutes. Kenshi also sensed tension, and everyone introduced Taven and Caro, before Raiden gifted the red dragon with Jinsei energy. He mentioned this was given to him before as he was healing at the distant tropical island... Both Raiden and Aiko thanked Caro for saving her life, and they're surprised he even knew her. He actually explained he knew everyone. Aiko asked how'd he know her if she never met him... Caro replied only the mysterious Oriental does who wanted to keep his identity a secret; because of the sudden newsbreak of the firebomb in Charred Mountain, she feared it was Blaze, in which Caro assured it wasn't...
He deeply apologized to Taven on all his past incidences caused by Daegon. He wondered if it'd have to do with the competition Orin mentioned, in which he became frantic after saying his name. Caro offered to make a portal there, and...it was hard to say, but he mentioned Daegon was responsible for their parents' deaths. Turned out Taven's angsts were true, especially after attempting to kill him with the Red Dragons... Caro then stated of the fact on losing his telekinetic connections with Blaze, thus waking up Daegon too early for several millennia... Raiden assured he's been forgiven, after saving Aiko he knew his intentions were good. Still confirmed and affirmed, Caro offered to conjure a portal to Orin's cave.
Taven arrived and called for the dragon after discovering Shinnok's and Daegon's plots...only to have him gone! His feet brushed upon a buried sheet of thick parch paper. It read that Orin had gone and was taken to the Yin Yang Island; he was actually saved by a powerful fighter who fended off Quan Chi who pursued him. He assured he shall still watch over Taven as long as Orin remained safe and that the Oriental shall do the same, and that the Elder Gods'd watch over him too. He soon received a telepathic message from Orin, stating the attack and rescue; Taven was surprised Caro's been saved and Raiden assisted. Orin recapped the brief battle with Quan losing immensely, before he was kicked into the portal Orin created. Taven figured the elemental and Raiden knew of the quest. Although...Orin stated to Taven there's more than he'd know that his parents' quest may be a setup, and that Daegon must be stopped at all costs.
Meanwhile, Quan Chi fell thru a portal as he emerged in Shinnok's Spire. The overlord was enraged of his failure in which he was taken off guard by an exceptional fighter possessing fire and lightning. He merely identified him as Liu Kang, but way stronger, as if he had godlike strength! Daegon offered to defeat him although there was a tiff between him and Shinnok with the demon beating sense into him. He still offered the prize to him, although he'd be expediting their preparations and it'd be a trap.
Fujin apologized for being late, as if he was frozen in time hunting Taven, before he soon noticed the base went ablaze instantly, but it was better than never as he received the recording. Nightwolf came to the conclusion the weaker self would be capable of antimatter, while the real deal was still able to create matter thus the illusions. The Wind God stated Liu'd settle matters with Kitana in Edenia, while Raiden informed Hanzo went to the Chaosrealm to assist Havik.
After a hallucination Aiko and Kung Lao had, he recovered first and told Caro of the engraving that had its head erased. The dragon forgotten that Blaze was more than just an embodiment of the end and a being of destruction; once living beings are exposed to its flames, their bodies and souls are incinerated, thus never moving onto the afterlife. A fate worse than death, as they'd be erased from existence....
Con't VII: Altruism[]
Final Kombat (Con't VII)
Meanwhile, Kitana and Liu were discussing with the Edenians, even with the time-displaced Baraka who barged in. Sindel and Jerrod explained of Blaze as well as the Pyramid of Argus, although the protector god and his wife were slain, thus it was easier for Kahn to win Mortal Kombat and conquer the realm; this made Sindel emotional, remembering her suicide from her forced marriage and the death of Jerrod. Liu swore he'd put an end to him and their other enemies once and for all. Although Baraka stated they must be tactful; Jade added to find an enemy and destroy him or her before the next one, like she would with Tanya. Asgaarth agreed, although Liu mentioned it'd be possible for their strife to drive them against each other, like with Shang against Quan, Onaga having an agenda with Kahn and best to leave them.
The Lin Kuei reunited with Bi-Han, especially Kuai who was flabbergasted the elder was willing to fight Armageddon with them. Frost was just enthusiastic to show Bi-Han how much the group had changed in a short time, even overthrowing the cyber initiative, and having Sareena join their ranks in conjunction with Ashrah as the new Goddess of Light. Bi-Han was just relieved to no longer have a bounty-hunting mission and as long as Scorpion won't interfere.
Caro, Kung Lao and Aiko just woke up from their slumber in the Grotto and soon met up with Raiden. More disturbing visions entered his mind. Aiko believed the heart gems may be tapped by Shinnok in which he agreed to discard them, despite them being a power source. Raiden remembered Nightwolf reminding that Onaga was bound to hell as well, and it may be possible for the doppelganger to utilize Shinnok's antimatter to break free. Aiko doubted he'd cross over to another realm as long as he won't have the amulet, as Raiden received word that he's using Daegon as his right-hand man to claim Blaze as the prize after he should be defeated. Raiden and company knew it was safe and with the tapped gems, Shinnok would eavesdrop on them. Jerrod encased Liu's, Sindel's and Kitana's with a soul field to disable reception, while Raiden and company discarded them afar in the Academy. He also offered Caro to reunite with Orin at the Yin Yang Island and coax the Oriental warrior for assistance.
Orin unveiled to Taven the quest was all a setup for the brothers to compete and rev them up to kill each other, and the dragon had no jurisdiction as he was only ordered to watch over Taven till Armageddon. Taven sympathized a little with Daegon's irate, but he was still determined to reason with him; Orin informed the Oriental watched him head to Outworld. The Edenian knew it'd be suicide alone within Kahn's desolate fortress. The elemental hoped he'd find some stragglers to assist him as long as he won't kill his enemies; only to have them wounded or crippled before Armageddon as they'd be fully restored in the Netherrealm. Until he noticed a scuffle from an intruder. Hyper focused, only she and Orin noticed it was just Caro! The dragons reunited after a millennia apart and they decided to keep an eye on Taven and the heroes together.
Con't VIII: Hauling up the Tower[]
Final Kombat (Con't VIII)
Taven wound up in Outworld and he could tell since he saw the iron statue of Shao Kahn smack dab in the courtyard of his fortress. He noticed the main entrance was locked then he was attacked by distant archers. He won over them easily and activated the levers in the side portions before ascending. He was still hot on searching for Daegon, although Mileena stopped him in his tracks admiring his appearance before fighting him. Taven wounded her easily remembering Orin's advice on crippling his adversaries before Armageddon. He soon came across some prisoners and rescued them...only to be slaughtered by the close executioner. He won over it and came across Shujinko and he was tempted to save him after his promises on mimicking his enemies and kill them in one fell swoop. Hanzo halted him as he stated Shujinko was responsible for Onaga's resurrection and the destruction of all the realms; he even mentioned on failing to stop him in the Nexus, while the Elder Gods made him as their Champion. All was deception and it coaxed Taven to leave him be.
They worked together to clean out Kahn's Fortress, including his own mecha, his general for Shinnok, Reiko, and Motaro the Minotaur; Hanzo actually caved into his rage as he recalled serving with the former in the Netherrealm, not taking Taven's advice. They later eavesdropped on the overlords (Onaga, Shang, Quan and Kahn) in the throne room with a lime portal leading to Edenia. Shang then sensed their souls and fired as they hastily escaped! Thanks to Taven's escape move, they wound up in the courtyard and entered Caro's portal on the Oriental's signal!
Con't IX: Armistice[]
Final Kombat (Con't IX)
On the night before the invasion, Baraka actually went to his kamp and spent the whole day hunting and roasting a variety of his own specialty meals Including lizards, the new red dragon species, a plethora of bugs as appetizers, gator, and snakes with the venom evaporated! In the Edenian Palace, he actually organized a whole banquet with the monarchs' specialties, including their signature Pie!
On their way to Edenia, Hanzo explained to Taven upon his side of a corrupted family, remembering Shinnok's words... In the Chaosrealm, he assisted Havik against Dairou and Darrius reconverting them into chaos than order, rather than being brainwashed by Shinnok's double. Then he remembered Shinnok mentioning that he diffused himself and had utter hatred to the Elder Gods, which Hanzo used to serve as their Champion before he failed to defeat the faker, Shujinko. Hanzo realized that like Shinnok, he knew well on declaring vengeance and consuming his being, and the Elder Gods promised to bring back his family... Remembering how petty they were to Raiden and Liu Kang, even Earthrealm in peril merging with Outworld, he affirmed he shall accept their losses and devote his heart to Takeda as a second son. Hanzo then recalled Shinnok's private chat on losing his own sanity from corruption and thus, Hanzo decided to keep his promise and attain the amulet against Raiden's warnings, as he knew where to go in the Temple.
Hanzo offered for Taven to rendezvous at the Palace while he makes his final moments with his "son," Takeda after taking the amulet.
He managed to find a portal being conjured by Jerrod in the throne room. Outside the peaceful Shirai Ryu headquarters, Kenshi stalled him after he sensed Aiko's mind, which seemed to be in a hypnotic trance. He knew this was her weakness, but...someone was transmitting a message thru her, that the warriors must not be deceived of the so-called prize after they would destroy Blaze. Taven's quest was a setup as was Daegon's and the only way to prevent Armageddon was the same cryptic words, He must win. Raiden became urgent over these words he heard in his visions. Aiko murmured, their hearts, one and together. The thrall wore off, and Raiden kept the strategy to himself. He knew from him that Armageddon was now imminent. Kenshi then decided to prepare to alert the Special Forces and soon spend his last minutes with Takeda and Hanzo before rendezvousing to the Edenian Palace. He soon came across a scrimmage against Hanzo and Bi-Han, seizing the tiring, repetitive feud between them and restoring his memories involving Quan Chi's deception and the fact Bi-Han was treacherous by killing Hanzo first.
Everyone was startled that Bo' Rai Cho was alive and well after the Soulnado incident. He and Taven apparently knew each other, and he wondered if the Edenian forgotten about his older brother, Rain. Taven had no memories of him nor knew he had a half sibling. Li Mei reunited with her master, and Bo' told Taven how Rain was abandoned by a boy to hide Argus' affair with Amara. Taven was outraged that his whole family became infidel much like Shinnok's, but Bo' assured only Delia, Caro and Orin were the faithful members. Bo' looked forward to seeing his prestigious students, Liu and Lao, again.
Raiden and Fujin were the judges for the trials their topmost skilled warriors must pass; the former explained to Aiko, Nightwolf, and Frederick since they were new, they must pass each of their tests with efficiency, otherwise they may not be eligible to fight in the battle of Armageddon. Liu arrived minutes before the trials, much to Raiden's relief as Aiko guessed he'd be spending some last minutes with Kitana. Raiden chose Liu Kang to be first since he was the Grand Champion and their most seasoned Kombatant. There was Test Your Might with different material, even Test Your Sight, and finally Test Your Balance. Overall, Liu and Lao were tied for first, Frederick was second, Nightwolf was third, Kai was fourth, and Aiko was last due to her limited motor skills. By default, the cardiokinetic wasn't qualified, although the scout had a change of heart and decided to pass up the apocalypse. As Raiden invited the other Kombatants to the Edenian banquet, even Kung Lao stayed with the duo.
They became worried as to how Raiden would explain Armageddon to the commonfolk, though Fujin smirked they'd figure out something.
Con't X: He Must Win...[]
Final Kombat (Con't X)
Hanzo and Kenshi followed Takeda's cries to his crib. The blind swordsman was the first to tend to him and the infant calmed as he was reading his mind. Kenshi came to the conclusion he knew how to sense and read minds like him, and he knew from all the tension on what Armageddon was meant for. Hanzo actually decided to stay with the baby while Kenshi would still be out fighting; he was grateful for his offer. Several minutes later, Hanzo actually snuck out and went to find the Temple of Elements.
The weakened Shinnok became anxious on what was taking so long after transmitting his messages via Aiko's dark heart. Hanzo remembered Shinnok declaring him as his messenger to retrieve his amulet once his double kickstarts Armageddon with Shao Kahn. Only longing for his sister, Cetrion, to be restored in conjunction with the dark heart gem encasing their intact memories. Unfortunately, the victim's essence was consumed by him, thus using his antimatter to form a portal and thus lead the invasion! The real Shinnok already knew since Hanzo was employed by Quan after his death in the first tournament: he knew of the Elder Gods' deception of their promise to restoring Hanzo's family as their "Champion," he knew his descent into eternal madness, he knew well of Quan's treachery, and he's the only one since he'd been there and slip under Raiden's radar. He hoped he shall restore everyone if Cetrion's revival was possible...
Sonya made sure the last-minute preparations were made at the new Special Forces base. Jax confirmed this, and Cage wanted to make a surprise proposition for Aiko; to make her fanfiction series as films! He wondered how Stryker and Kabal may be involved. Sonya offered to help if only Kano won't be involved, yet still, there was the Tekunin, in which Raiden already assured she shouldn't worry. Stryker grew irritated this could mean another invasion like the ones he was dragged into several years ago. Kabal was more subtle. Still the officer was ready to, "lock and load."
The Oriental and Edenian were intrigued as they explained to Orin and Caro who they were and haven't seen them in eons since Shao Kahn's invasion and how Kabal deserted Kano, even when the Black Dragons worked for Kahn and were a subsidiary group from the Red Dragons. Caro was amazed even the Shirai Ryu was also formed by a rogue member of its predecessor, the Lin Kuei, much as the crime syndicates. Orin wished if only Taven and Daegon won't have to fight each other, and Caro dreaded on the factions' interference. Since he was the one who launched the attack, the Oriental assured they're trapped beneath the rubble and severely wounded. He also hoped that Raiden, whom he knows, could decipher those riddles, that He must win, and their hearts must remain one and together. The elemental doubted that either Taven or Daegon winning would turn in their offer.
By the time Armageddon was upon them, Raiden suggested everyone to take one of Aiko's heart gems from the Shaolin, those who don't have them, in order to be revitalized after their death to fight again; however, they could only be used once... Remembering the incident involving the Gem of Tetsurri, Aiko reminded Raiden and Nightwolf; the Thunder God hesitated to recollect his thoughts of that myth, then remembering that said incident. It was theorized Aiko's gem can use the opposite effects, instead its positive energy being absorbed and carried over by the user. Nightwolf magnified the effect as he was the one who made the infected Kombatants "fight the darkness."
Fujin hypothesized if the worst should happen, they may die together with all the realms. He was still curious on Raiden's riddles. Little by little, he began to put the pieces together, as the god brothers figured that Raiden should merge with a mortal, as he did so himself with his own doppelganger, and it's likely Shinnok's double would do the same. Fujin was flabbergasted if it was truly possible if a God can merge with a lower rank; he was determined to find out!
Aiko still held onto her own heart gem tightly as she shared her room with Lao one more time... While anticipating for Jin to return from school, Lao must make her promise something, that whatever happens, she shall remain out of the battle even if something were to happen to him... Aiko was reluctant, but Lao tended her to do so. They kissed and embraced each other passionately in which it almost felt like hours, before Lao headed to Fujin.
Raiden reached the Grotto where Liu and Kitana were and suddenly shocked the Edenian!! The monk was outraged, though the electrokinetic assured she was only unconscious. Liu confirmed but wasn't certain of his strategy. Raiden stated she would be safe if everything goes as planned, and only he must win. Liu stated to Kitana earlier it shall be him since he was able to thwart the other overlords. He thought Raiden would have him comatosed too, but...he would rather save him. All a sudden, Liu was enveloped in lightning and immobilized with him!
Aiko was sobbing for the friends he lost, and since Frederick decided to stay, he tended to her. Until her heart gem began to shock her! She struggled to rid it and it continued to have bolts lick it! She hardly saw a blurry image of the merger! She came across a sudden blue zip, and she hesitantly touched it, causing the rip to open! She went into the portal leading to the Grotto and she couldn't believe who stood before her! It was Liu Kang!!
He immediately laid one of her heart gems next to the unconscious Edenian and told her to do the same. He merged them into one larger jewel, the same effect in which he went thru! He urged to notify Caro; he'd know what to do if she can give him that heart gem! Aiko was upset he was willing to fight Blaze until the end, even when merged with Raiden, and finally fulfilling his destiny as the Chosen One! He whispered, "This will be...my final kombat."
With a salute, he disappeared with a clap of thunder and flash of lightning. Aiko knew right then his sudden departure was a part of Raiden...

Final Kombat (Con't XI)
The Kombatants were making their final preps for the Battle of Armageddon at the Edenian Palace and were heading en route to the southern crater. Everyone had one of Aiko's heart gems for a second shot, and Asgaarth prayed for the Elder Gods to protect them. They actually boarded the Netherwing, an advanced version of the Nethership reconstructed as an air vehicle! They shall beat their enemies to the Pyramid once it rises! Lao was shocked Bo' was alive, though he was anxious on the whereabouts of Liu and Raiden. Fujin was certain his brother would show up when the time's right and never back away from the war. Sindel and Jade were also anxious of Kitana's predicament. Khameleon suddenly appeared and beside her was Mileena! She actually described her as Kitana's REAL sister instead on being a clone, and she happened to have a Tarkatan disease showing her fangs. Only Sindel and Jerrod remembered her as such before they were all slain. By the time the team boarded the ship, Taven abruptly vanished within a burst of flame!
Taven was suddenly sent to the Edenian Ruins with the dragon gateway adjacent to the crater! He actually spotted Daegon, but he also noticed he was more agile than he was as he charged to him! Daegon admitted he DID kill their parents, and Taven was outraged it was for the sake of the prize, never knowing that the quest was a setup! Before a fight ensued, Blaze halted them! He stated the quest has been corrupted and it never went as planned. Nevertheless, the fate of the realms would be decided today, and the bros are bound to the quest. Taven wanted nothing to do with it, his business was with Daegon! He recalled Orin's words everyone has a right to their own destiny. Taven wanted to get it over with and Daegon challenged him with the double Drakeswords they were supposed to have to slay Blaze! The fight was on!
At first, Taven was taken off guard by the dual weapons as he only had one... He soon lost due to Daegon's enhanced agility and having more of the same weapon, fortunately, Taven had a second shot via Aiko's heart gem, in which she felt a chest pang. He soon began to study his patterns and recalled his arrogance as his undoing and with every blow, Daegon became more irate and losing his focus. Due to keeping his head on, Taven won over him. Caro wasn't fazed by Daegon's defeat, as he knew he had it coming...
Blaze met up with Taven and stated that there was a feud between his parents; Argus wanted to destroy all warriors involved, while Delia created Blaze in hopes to only strip them of their powers. Blaze added only the victor shall decide their fate via coin toss; Taven wondered which side is he, in which the bringer said it was irrelevant and he mustn't let anyone else face him. He then urged Taven to take up his sword and meet Blaze once the Pyramid rises.
The warriors below landed the Netherwing and noticed their enemies descend. With a final pep talk, they marched down the other side. Motaro led the fray and made a vulture scurry away, making the Army of Darkness charge toward the Forces of Light. War has been declared. Until...

There was a swirling vortex of fire in the sky! It was glowing and soon dove down onto the foes, the same display as the firebomb onto the Red Dragon base! From the sudden depression and bits of embers, it was revealed to be Liu Kang!! The Forces of Light cheered and took on the battle!! Everyone was klashing in the melee, especially when Oniro was outnumbered by the cryomancers; without the Medallion he was powerless, though they only stunned him. Sektor overmatched Cyrax, till Smoke intervened. The elementals were ambushed by Shinnok in which Liu challenged and won easily without his amulet! The umbrakinetic was taken aback with Liu combined with Raiden!
Lao took on the vicious Baraka and were evenly matched before the time displaced Tarkatan impaled him! Lao, Fujin and Taven noticed Liu and Raiden as he was bound to his soul and made him a god. They can beat Blaze and suddenly the Pyramid finally ascended from beneath! Everyone watched, until Stryker made the sucker punch onto Rain and the Kombatants rushed up, much to Liu's dismay! He reiterated to Taven to recall Orin's words, and everyone has a right to choose their destiny rather than being bound to fate. A mortal may not be possible to decimate the fire spawn, so he agreed Liu shall confront him.
Con't XII: Armageddon[]
Final Kombat (Finale!!)
Hanzo made it back to Shinnok's Spire and handed the amulet to the dying Elder God. Who explained his double absorbed his essence leaving him to rot, but thanks to Hanzo's quickness... He grabbed it with all his strength and the umbrakinesis seeped thru him. Filled with the intense energy in conjunction with positive energy, Shinnok became overwhelmed again and screeched for her sister, Cetrion, to return to form...
Meanwhile at the same time, the black heart stolen by Shinnok's double suddenly had it shattered, and the essence evaporated! He cursed as soon as he noticed his power source gone.
Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Taven and Fujin observed the fatal ascension to Blaze with their allies losing or being dead; he managed to see Nightwolf in the shadows shooting his green arrows onto his enemies and urged him to use his telepathic spell to convince his allies to stand down. The suicidal climb was too much to bear, and he couldn't get to Kenshi since he was fatally stabbed by Quan Chi. Spotting the Saurians, Liu urged the Chameleons to take him and the trio up. He assigned the demigod, the Wind God, and his brother to defend it while Liu marched up to be stopped by his enemies. He dealt with Kahn, then spotted Onaga and forced him down onto the Emperor! He spotted Shang and forced him onto Quan! Lao teleported up following Liu, and the new god stated he wanted to deal with the unhinged fire spawn. Liu erupted with the Jinsei restoring himself before he confronted him!
Taven noticed Liu was trying to talk to Blaze thru his pyrokinesis and Blaze told him everything; Liu tried to convince Blaze he doesn't have to destroy everything and everyone he held dear, but he only knew his orders of his creator, Delia. Being he wasn't going thru to him, "If you must die, so be it!" Taven threw up the legendary weapon and Liu took him on! By his defeat, with Liu barely hanging on, he performed a desperation attack! Taven feared he'd explode and destroy all life! Never wanting it to happen, Liu decided to change its trajectory aloft.
Shinnok became overwhelmed as he hollered and unleashed his energy from both the amulet and the dark heart sensing this was the end...
Aiko felt her heart gem ignite while the Elder God amulet was beginning to destroy itself! The Oriental noticed the commotion and watched the Edenian fall! He tended her and Caro sent Aiko's gem to him via his own rip. Without her gem, she recalled all the time shifts and finally unveiled it wasn't from the negligible Kronika nor Raiden...it was him! Fire God Liu Kang was responsible for erasing Kronika and Cetrion, sending Aiko and Baraka back from their distant future, encouraged Kung Lao to keep on living, and watching over everyone... She broke down never wanting him to sacrifice himself and never noticing Kitana's vessel dissolve while the gem revitalized the Edenian on the island...
Taven, Fujin and Lao rushed up knowing Liu and Raiden were sacrificing their lives for all life! He forced them down as he redirected Blaze's detonation, but his strength won't hold. As a last attempt, he made a burst of flames, only...it was a flame shield, protecting his allies from Blaze's which was rumored to erase Kombatants from existence!! The firestorm raged from the Pyramid making everyone lose consciousness from the volatile impact! Liu and Raiden managed to utter their last words in unison, "I, must win..." Before he was never seen again... The remaining spectators sensed something amiss. Hanzo knew what happened, even Shinnok who was outraged on Raiden's sacrifice and cried for Cetrion! The Oriental watched the amulet break and shatter! Knowing he failed, he broke down! Caro and Orin were stunned, even Asgaarth and the Edenians as they witnessed the total destruction...
Meanwhile... A rainstorm formed over the decimated Pyramid and slightly extinguished the raging flames... Aiko's mind began to overreact, and she tried to fight back the hallucinations on the world being destroyed, until she noticed waves crashing calmly and found herself on a tropical island. She followed Caro to a clearing where a Hourglass stood as was Kitana without her vial! With ecstasy she reunited with her, and she recognized Aiko preserving her memories from her heart gem; all her deeds would live on, and the Elder Gods should bless her for it! She assured the Oriental she was alive, and Orin was relieved even Taven survived. The mysterious Oriental continued to look thru the portal as every hero recovered gradually.
The last one was Kung Lao who seemed the most out of it. He soon recollected Liu and Raiden's tragic loss as he rushed up the Pyramid which reduced in height and had its top reduced to rubble. He kept calling their names, even looking thru the shady spaces, still no sign of them... He Teleported back onto the top and his feet almost slipped, when he tore thru the soil, a metallic, red headband was shown... Lao sunk as his body trembled and realized that Raiden and Liu were gone...
His kompatriots followed his scream and Sonya wondered where the merged warrior was; Lao made a tearful reiteration, and everyone mourned for Liu and Raiden...
A day had passed as Aiko mentioned to the monks of Lao's, Fujin's, Nightwolf's and Kai's hopeful return while the rest mourned for their fallen mentors. She assisted some of the denizens as she weakened a tuna's heart for them to catch it, until they spotted a silhouette with a rimmed hat! They suspected he was Lao undead, but due to her cardiokinesis, his gem reacted and was affected by the sudden pang. Aiko rushed toward Lao who apologized for being gone... They made a tearful reunion and he shown her gem still lively and Liu's lost headband... They cried for a while before Lao was willing to pay his respects at his Tomb. He relinquished the spiked arm blades, the dragon armor and the red headband, though he was hesitant on the latter due to mounting grief. After it was secure, Lao sunk and buried his face as he sobbed, while all Aiko could do was tend him...
They didn't notice the eternal flame churn to blue and the whisper of Lao's name, until a man gradually descended and called again. They saw Liu Kang as his merged self!! He explained he was from another time. He confirmed he sent Aiko and Baraka to the past and watched over his friends for so long, ever since he and Kitana watched Earthrealm reform. He was able to defeat Kronika combined with Cetrion and soon retrieve the Krown from Shang; however, he brought Kitana back with him and made her as a goddess, so she won't be affected by sudden anomalies. He congratulated Lao and Fujin as the new protectors of Earth, and Lao's destiny went full circle as Chosen One. The God stated that Caro had decided to stick with the couple and since Armageddon was thwarted, even when the Order and Chaosrealm were decimated, they're free to roam to any time! He assures he would see everyone again soon... Lao and Aiko wondered if he would ever return someday.
Epilogue[]
Final Kombat (Epilogue)

Taven and Jade
Everyone was still mourning over Liu Kang's and Raiden's sacrifices, while also planning for the near future. For starters, Taven was reflecting on the grave turmoil his quest caused as he looked over the Edenian Ruins. He was still grateful on having the dragons and his new friends spared, but it was still a heavy burden. Orin met up with him, assuring it wasn't all in vain, then the Edenian warriors arrived congratulating him as Edenia's new Protector God. Jade even gave him a peck on the cheek, symbolizing Taven as her love interest. And the time-traveling Kitana is more than welcome to visit.
Mileena and Baraka settled their differences in hopes for her to fit in despite her Tarkatan illness; they were still welcome to visit Edenia if they wish as long as they won't cave into their bloodlust.
The Shokan worked things out with the Prime Minister of Australia, amongst other Aussies and world leaders, to make themselves at home in the land down under; Sheeva and Goro led the charge against all Black Dragon stragglers and cleaned the continent from serious crimes, making them as top monarchs and defenders of Earthrealm. While Kintaro was declared as Sindel's bodyguard in their stead.
Cyrax and Smoke were being repaired from their extensive damage, and Sonya grew preoccupied with the upcoming baby as she caressed her belly. She and Johnny shall welcome Cassie Blade into the world shortly, as would Jax and Vera with Jacqui. Johnny finally gave Aiko the news her fics shall be adapted, but only as novels in multiple languages as there'd be a field day with the Special Forces once the baby arrives.
Kenshi and Hanzo strolled a joyous Takeda outside no longer distressed. They wondered how the OIA would fare with the upcoming births, although first on the agenda was discovering the Tarkatan disease and how to reverse it. Kenshi hoped Takeda would be ready to serve Earthrealm once he grows up, and he and Hanzo were relieved Shinnok would govern Purgatory sternly while Cetrion brought peace amongst the Elder Gods.
Sadly...the Orderrealm and Chaosrealm seized to exist...
Bi-Han decided to train himself outside the Lin Kuei, in Delia's deserted temple with Sareena as his moral supported. Kuai forgave his treachery, and he wishes to see him again, as did Frost and Smoke. The latter also came out of the closet like Fujin and Jin did...
Fujin was at the Sky Temple with Ashrah moping on his brother's sacrifice amongst a rainstorm outside. Ashrah assured they'd do well as the new protectors of Earth and Raiden chose well.
Kung Lao was meditating at the center of the le tei of the Academy and sensed Kai's chi once he snuck up; the prodigy was impressed. He too wore a heavy heart wishing to see his brother again as a time-traveler. Jin and Aiko met up with them and she was ecstatic she heard word from Johnny that her fics would be adapted. Lao planned on training Jin once he reaches 18 and is adopted by him. Aiko even shown a diamond ring proudly shining as a testimonial of them being fiancés! She also pined to see Kitana, Liu and even Caro if they should return... Even Taven would miss the red dragon dearly, and he gave Aiko a jubilant ride around the island! Now free, Caro stuck with the elder time-travelers!
Several years later... A Black Hawk landed near a tower. The Special Forces consisting all of Earth's warriors, including some fresh faces, took on a mission. They met up with allies from the other realms before they arrived in what used to be Kahn's Arena. Kotal led the charge with some newer foes and both factions charged to one another before the scene cut!

Trivia[]

Final Kombat roster
Final Kombat Marathon
- Zombie Liu Kang shalln't be included, as wouldn't Dark Raiden.
- There will be a surprise merger between certain 2 Kombatants near the climax. Raiden and Liu Kang! Fire God Liu Kang has been revealed as a way to kombat Blaze and the Armageddon Battle!!
- Caro may just have a bigger role in the story than in the game, as would Orin...
- MK Konfessions, a huge fan of the 3D games, had this idea on Armageddon taking place a few months after the last epic; he felt "since (her) fic is separate from the actual timeline, then (he'd) figure Armageddon being a few months after Deception since that's when everything started building up to it around that time."
- The source that the Oriental sensed from Taven was in fact when he found Blaze's essence back in Arctika, hence waking up and watching him after his meditation. And while Gods usually aren't affected by temporal changes, Fujin for once was as the Oriental conjured it onto him before the heat blast onto the Red Dragon base.
- A lot of the parts would either be completely changed or cut out completely;
- One example was Taven's expedition in Arctika as his encounter with Sonya was taken out, much like Kabal and the Black Dragons. Kitana met him at the Jungle instead, and the Lin Kuei took him in during the blizzard. There were 2 temples represented instead of just Delia's, as hers was abandoned before the Lin Kuei took over and made it their abandoned base; Frost wasn't dead and didn't suffer from a delirium contrary to the game. There was no Noob Saibot and Smoke doesn't work with him; from the previous epic, Bi-Han was purified when Ashrah ascended from the Netherrealm, and soon reunited with his younger brother.
- Another part that was altered was the removal of the Black Dragons in the Botan Jungle, and that Taven encountered Kitana who challenged him to see if he was the real deal.
- The Black Dragons had invaded Charred Mountain, causing a catastrophe between the two lethal factions, and a mysterious meteor struck the base, eventually exploding it and making the mountain collapse! Kira and Kobra won't be included, and Kabal still sticks with Stryker as an anti-hero.
- Caro escaped as a mysterious pyrokinetic frees him and takes him to a tropical island for recovery before Daegon arrives.
- As a result, Quan Chi's assault on Orin was thwarted.
- Sareena wasn't involved with Quan but feared him, and the solution was Cobalt armor. Jataka was never mentioned.
- Goro is still on the good side after making peace with Kung Lao and the Centaurs; the Shokan, with the Black Dragons wiped out again, has their chance to relocate to Australia like in Sheeva's ending in MK9.
- Raiden still possess the amulet, like he did in MK9 as a token from the Elder Gods once he joined their ranks, though he never used it until he had those visions, and the surface began to crack.
- Oniro was of course mentioned by the Lin Kuei, dreading his return upon other older enemies.
- Shinnok has a doppelganger, much like Raiden and Quan Chi. He and Quan may not use the amulet since it's still sealed in the Temple of Elements.
- Onaga, Kahn, Quan and Shang still conspired to prepare for Armageddon, although Goro wasn't there prior to the gathering, neither was Dark Raiden since he'd been slaughtered by the actual Raiden who recovered during the previous epic. Shujinko was still imprisoned as Hanzo informed Taven of his treachery. Mileena was somehow restored as Kitana's forgotten sister before she was decimated then cloned.
- Kitana never recalled Mileena as a legit sister, but rather just a clone of her from Shang and Kahn; Sindel and Jerrod remembered them fondly, although while she was deformed, she did have a bitter rivalry with Kitana.
- The Test minigames (Might, Sight, Balance) were finally used as trials for the Kombatants to see who can participate in Armageddon, just like one rep only for the first tournament.
- Not all Kombatants would be in the Battle of Armageddon; Kitana, Aiko, Frederick, Asgaarth and Hanzo won't be included, a stark kontrast to Everyone is Here in the game.
- The Edenian Ruins was supposed to be cut, but it was revealed to be the place where Argus and Delia were discussing their plans for the quest involving Taven and Daegon. While also being the battleground between the two brothers and where Blaze explained the results of the warriors if one or the other should defeat him. Although the rest of the terrain should be omitted, assuming it was the Palace and Edenia itself that was just destroyed by the Forces of Darkness, so the realm would still be intact.
- Unlike in Konquest, Bo' Rai Cho explains to Taven about Rain as Argus' bastard. Taven was irritated though he was glad he still has both guardian dragons spared despite his family's demise and corruption.
- The mysterious Oriental can possess outstanding skills in martial arts, pyrokinesis, electrokinesis, generate portals, and chronokinesis.
- Unlike in Armageddon, the Forces of Light won't be led by Johnny via psychic... Instead, it'll be led by Fire God Liu Kang and Fujin. While the Forces of Darkness would be led by Shinnok and Shao Kahn.
- The part in which Aiko goes thru a meltdown while Blaze was unleashing his fury was an excerpt from a terrifying movie, 2012!
- The emergence and surprise when Aiko arrived at Yin Yang Island was an excerpt from Star Trek: Generations with Picard in the Nexus.
- The reunion with Kung Lao was an excerpt from both F-Zero GP Legend with Rick reuniting with Haruka, and Zidane and Garnet in FFIX.
- Raiden's and Liu's sacrifice can be similar to Groot's in Guardians of the Galaxy.
- The podfic marathon for it is the third longest marathon and vid she's ever made, nearly over 8 hours, with the Elemental Marathon being 8 hours and 20 mins and Missing Episodes of Sleepy Hollow marathon's over 10 hours!
