The Fire Mountain Rally was one of several podracing events that were hosted by the Pro Circuit during the last years of the Old Republic. The race meandered around the mountainous coastal areas of the Baroo continent on the planet Baroonda. This course was the sixth race in the Galactic Podracing Circuit Tournament. Ebe Endocott favored this course. During 1981, the Glymphid assassin Aldar Beedo was captured by a mercenary, on behalf of the Fluggrian crime lord Elan Mak, during the race.
