The Fire Temple is a new arena debuting in Mortal Kombat 1. It is located in Earthrealm, and it serves as the home for the God of Fire, Liu Kang, in the New Era.
Home to Earthrealm's Protector, Liu Kang, the Fire Temple welcomes both the pious and the sinful as they seek the Elder Gods' enlightenment.
From the early dawn until deep into the night, the temple is open to all who visit.

Kontentment[]
The main area of the Fire Temple was seen in the oneshot as Caro was discussing with Aiko of how the elders, Liu Kang and Kitana, came to be. As the storm subsided, they arrived, and she was holding baby Cheung.
Separate reality/roleplay[]
The Fire Temple was still the home for Titan Liu Kang in his New Era. He at first shared it with his loved ones, his wife, Titan Kitana, and their daughter, Liuxei. When they abruptly left him since late November and never returned, he eventually shared it with his confidant, Aiko. She soon moved into it upon Liu's suggestion during midspring; they'd been inseparable ever since. In mid-June, he heard of Kitana's whereabouts, so he decided to clone him and his home for Aiko and another part of himself. There was also a lush, large garden made by his daughter, Liuxei.
Trivia[]
- The center of the Fire Temple was inspiration of the same cavernous area for Liu Kang's own temple inside the cave at Yin Yang Island. He constantly uses Earthrealm's geothermal energy to keep the cave warn, dazzling and alit. Caro often hangs out with him there.
