Funky Kong (ファンキーコング, Fankī Kongu in Japan) is a recurring character in the Donkey Kong series. Funky often serves as an ally to the Kong Family by offering services such as his transportation and weaponry. He has also recently been appearing in most Donkey Kong spin-off and even Mario spin-off games. He is a helpful and happily willing ally to the series' titular hero and has proven his worth on numerous occasions.
