(At Garfield's house, Garfield, Odie, Jon and Liz are relaxing in the living room while Garfield eat his lasagna, Odie chilling in his pillow and Jon reading some Garfield comics with Liz on the newspaper)
- Garfield: Mondays. I hate Mondays so much.
- Odie: *bark* Ooh.
- Jon: Hey, that Garfield comic sound like a good read.
- Liz: I love the Monday-hating lasagna cat so much.
- Garfield: You know, I'm the star.
- Odie: *bark* Arf!
- Jon: That's my Garfield alright.
- Liz: *check her smartphone and see the notification of the trailer of a new Garfield movie* Guys! Check it out. There's a new Garfield movie trailer on YouTube.
- Garfield: What the?
- Odie: Arf?
- Jon: A new Garfield movie? Whoa, we haven't gotten a Garfield movie in ages.
- Liz: I heard it's a cartoon. We should watch the trailer right away.
- Jon: Let's go play that trailer, tabby cat.
- Garfield: I'm on my way. *play the trailer*
(Garfield and his friends watch the trailer for The Garfield Movie as it shows a baby Garfield hiding in a box as he walk through the restaurant, stare at the window of a pizza as he meet Jon for the first time and eat the pizza as well various things like a cake and shows Garfield as an adult eating bread in the present with Odie on the table. The trailer shows Jon washing Garfield in the bathtub and show himself poofy with Odie dropping the ball in his shocked expression. While the cast names are shown, Jon give lasagna to Garfield and Odie with Garfield smelling the lasagna with Jon shredding some cheese and Garfield expressing his love for lasagna. Odie is shown as Garfield meet his long lost father Vic for the first time as well jumping in the train and Garfield crashing into various things as a hot air balloon of himself. Also show Garfield and Vic eating on the fridge as well a campaign where you share your videos of your cat and dog. Garfield and his friends are shocked by the look of the trailer.)
- Garfield: Wow. Unbelievable.
- Odie: Arf!
- Jon: Wow. That trailer was so good. Heck, even Garfield ate a whole pizza in two seconds.
- Liz: I didn't know Garfield had a father!
- Garfield: Chris Pratt voicing me is a fun time. Can deliver out a good impression of the cat!

- Jon: I sure do Olive Garden would love to make a promotion out of the movie.
- Liz: This trailer is making me wanna eat some lasagna right now.
- Garfield: And that my friends should put up lasagna on the food menu in the movie theater and buy it on the day my new movie premiere from Sony Pictures!
- Odie: Arf!
- Jon: Don't forget the popcorn and snacks.
- Liz: You know what we will be doing next year on Memorial Day 2024.
- Garfield: Go to the movie to watch The Garfield Movie. That's for sure.
