Susan Murphy, a.k.a. "Ginormica", as she appears in Ice Jeweler and drawn in the style of Naoko Takeuchi.
Ginormica (real name "Susan Murphy") is a character from Monsters vs. Aliens.
History[]
In 2009, all set for her wedding day, Susan meets her fiancée, Derek Dietl, near the gazebo of the chapel. She had plans on going to Paris for their honeymoon, but Derek spilled the beans about the change of plans after their marriage; Derek just got a call from the general manager of the television studio he works at that he's to become a television corespondent at Fresno, California, and it's not too far from her home town of Modesto. After her talk with Derek, a meteorite containing Quantonium crash lands on her. Inside the meteor, she unknowingly absorbs the Quantonium. Inside the chapel, as she was preparing to marry Derek, she starts glowing green, then she grows to a enormous size, giving her hair permanent discoloration. That was when the government came and tranquilized her. She awoke in a facility where she could spend her days with a group of monsters, who try to make a good impression on her during their first meeting with her. Susan was scared at first, but after making eye contact with the facility's warden, General Warren R. Monger, she prepared for her orientation while the General returned her to her cell. Before their first meeting was over, General Monger says that the government has changed her name to "Ginormica". Saddened that she may never see her friends, family, or Derek again, she longs to return to normal.
