Gohmas are recurring Bosses in The Legend of Zelda series. They are usually depicted as large, one-eyed arthropods and often shown as mothers of the Gohma Larvae. They are among the most recurring Bosses in the series since its conception.

Gohma was only seen, as the Gohma Queen inside the rear of the Great Deku Tree cursing it! Link and Navi labeled her as the true culprit and never hesitated to destroy her! Thanks to Navi reading her weakness of her red eye before her lunges, she was stunned by the Slingshot, and sliced by the Kokiri Sword, as were her hatchlings when she dropped eggs/larvae from the cobwebs in the ceiling. She was destroyed, but it was too late as the Tree died afterwards, though it was a curse placed on him as punishment for not giving Ganondorf the Kokiri Emerald.
