Son Goten ( 'Son Goten') is the youngest son of Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, making him a Saiyan and Earthling hybrid. Goten is Gohan's younger brother and Trunks' best friend.

Goten with Kou
He was first seen playfully frolicking with Trunks outside his home. By the time Ayame returned, he was waking up with Trunks wondering why there was a loud discussion. Gohan announced there's big trouble on Dauragon ruling the world, and she was unsuccessful on retrieving the Dragon Ball. He and Trunks joyfully volunteered to help her, though Bulma was against it. Goku and Gohan were confident on what he can do since he seemed more powerful than them when they were his age. So, Goten headed to Mikado and eventually found Kou, one of the missing Bouncers, even though it took longer than Trunks and Ayame. He watched him thru the vents, and by the time Kou was ganged up by the Special Forces, he decided to intervene, much to his dismay since he's a kid. He confessed he was sent by Ayame looking for Kou and the other Bouncers, aside from the Dragon Ball. He actually revealed why they were so important, and he watched Kou again till they reached the executive floor. Goten assisted against Mugetsu and his cronies, then he volunteered to help Kou draw away the guards from the Rocket Tower.

He then met up with Sion, Dominique, and Ayame, and he was on healing duties till he witnessed the satellite shifting, Dominique going haywire, and having her and the Dragon Ball missing again! When the Bouncers proceeded to the Galeos, Goten hesitated only to unveil Kou's a spy for LUKIS ordered to destroy Dominique, "the target," when necessary, and he assured Kou won't do it since Sion loves her and they should trust him as a good guy.

Goten met up with the trio and assisted to wipe out the black killer robots, before reaching the Air-Carrier which was the ride to the Galeos. He then gave Mugetsu a distraction with Ayame and Trunks, even made a Triple Kamehameha Wave to finish him before he was incinerated by the ship's boosters. He then sensed the satellite destroying many people and understanding Ayame's nervous breakdown! He also witnessed Dauragon's lethal fight with the heroes and wiping out his partner seamlessly. Ayame ordered the Saiyan kids to strike back, till she was held hostage, then Sion came to the rescue revived by half of a Senzu Bean. Goten and Trunks finished him off and saved the world, the Dragon Ball, and Dominique. Everyone escaped the Galeos, and he and Trunks ate a ton eating the remaining food in the Dome. He also had to airlift Kou since he can't ride the Nimbus, back home to Dog Street. He was at the Lookout witnessing the summoning of Shenron, and soon returned to Fate hanging out with a root beer, only to say goodbye one last time to Kou.
He was invited to Sion's 20th birthday, and he gifted him a Dragon Ball pendant, and he was worried over Sion's drunkenness. Eventually, he was enlisted by Gohan to protect civilians, like Boss, if Jet Black Sion should harm them.

In the Yakuza saga, Goten was summoned again, with Trunks, to investigate Sion's homestead as he and the neo-Yakuza headed there. He actually made a little distraction as he was too fearful that Kou was one of them. Sure enough he was when he got back to Mikado, till Chiaotzu removed Kou's microchip and severely injured his legs. Goten immediately turned into Super Saiyan 2 and fused with Trunks as Gotenks teamed up with Gohan as they fought off Dauragon's dark chimera! Though they did have a limited time! They were successful, and Goten met with Kou as his injured self, at times grieving for him till he came around thanks to the Sacred Water. He was nervous that Leann was about to terminate him from LUKIS, though she didn't since the Yakuza incident wasn't entirely his own will. So, Goten begged for her to give Kou a date, and she assured maybe next time.
Years later, Goten was saving the world and became a park ranger, till he decided to be one of the future Bouncers part-time.
