Grandma Longneck is a character in the Land Before Time films and television series. Much like Grandpa Longneck, she's an Apatosaurus, one of many species referred to as "Longnecks" by the characters in the franchise. Like Grandpa she is one of Littlefoot's maternal grandparents as she is one of her mother's parents, and her primary caregivers after her daughter's death. She acts as a parent to Littlefoot; giving him advice when needed and take the responsibility of protecting him very seriously.
Like Grandpa. her real name hasn't been revealed, as nearly everyone in the Great Valley refers to her as "Grandma Longneck;" even her mate, and Daddy Topps (a.k.a. Mr. Threehorn) continually refers to Grandma as "Longneck." The grandparents' son-in-law Bron calls Grandma "Mama Longneck."
