Heaven.jpg

Heaven is a common religious cosmological or metaphysical term for the physical or transcendent place from which heavenly beings (such as God, angels, heavenly saints or ancestors) originate, are enthroned or inhabit. It is commonly believed that heavenly beings can descend to earth or take on earthly flesh and that earthly beings can ascend to Heaven in the afterlife or in exceptional cases enter Heaven alive. Heaven is often described as a "higher place", the holiest place, a Paradise, in contrast to Hell, and universally or conditionally accessible by earthly beings according to various standards of divinity, goodness, piety, faith, or other virtues or right beliefs or simply the Will of God.

It's also known as the Heavenly Realm in the Dragon Ball series.

It's named as the Sacred Realm in the Zelda series.

Sleepy Hollow, the Missing Episodes[]

It was finally shown in Ikran's own version of Season 5 where the 7 angels gathered around the rainbow crystals and created the seven sacred virtues passed down to the heroes in Team Witness! Leon Lucas was eventually taken up as well, convinced by Ichabod. Eventually so did Katrina, Henry, and a few other damned souls. After Lucifer was resealed in Hell, Abbie and her allies persuaded the heroes to use the Virtues and restore the world before they said goodbye to them.

Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]

Rick has seen his late beloved, Haruka, in Heaven, twice. Once when he had a near-death experience as he succumbed to the Skull's lethal spell, and again after being under anesthesia to cleanse his mind from Dark Million's thrall. Haruka warned him she's nothing more than the byproduct of Black Shadow, and as long as Dark Million reigns, she couldn't find rest. But after the universe was saved upon Dark Star's demise and Falcon's sacrifice, after 150 years, she found rest as she said her final goodbye to Rick in the Galaxy Runner.

Currently, Haruka's at peace with Capt. Falcon, Clash after his heroic suicide, and Atem after he defeated Diva with his soul no longer encased in the Millennium Puzzle.

A Date and a Destiny[]

As Raiden reminisced on the lives of the Great Kung Lao and Jennifer Reyland, he believed that Aiko and Kung Lao'd have a better love life. He was relieved their souls ascended, even after Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn were defeated at the arena in Outworld.

Mortal Kombat: Shinnok's Uprising[]

The heavens were attacked during a war waged by Raiden and Shinnok thousands of years ago. This in turn caused a cataclysmic event in which an asteroid fell onto Earthrealm and made the dinosaurs extinct; it's most likely it was a fallen God while Raiiden evacuated the Saurians to Zaterra.

It happened again when Fujin was critically wounded against Shinnok's intrusion as he fell near the Bayan Har Mountains. Raiden tended his wounds at the Jinsei Chamber, and he resurrected Johnny Cage from the heavens to alert the Kombatants of the new threat. The Gods, Elder Gods, Raiden and Fujin held the fallen Elder God at bay, though a few Gods perished.

By the time Raiden, Fujin, and Liu Kang won over Shinnok, the Thunder God was congratulated by one of the Elder Gods admitting him to their ranks! He passed on the news to his younger brother, allowing Fujin to be his successor. He vowed he shalln't fail him and shortly after Raiden bid his final farewell to his children before they swapped positions.

Dissidia: Shadowgate[]

Firion wound up in an endless flower field covered in multi-colored roses. Cosmos was the one who sent him there. After he failed to stop the Behemoth in Shadowgate, he was actually given a dilemma; to either stay permanently and fulfill his dream in a world with wild roses or finish his dreaded fight. Eventually, Firion decided to continue his battle and save his world and his friends'. It's most likely his parents and adoptive parents are there too.
