"We'll, uh, we'll figure something out for you. The league will, I mean. For now, I'd better make sure they get that Blockbuster creature squared away."

Without another word, Superman flew into the night.

"What could I do?" he though aloud, "The kid's not related to me, he's an-ack!"

Superman felt a forceful tug on his cape, and he was forced back down to the ground. He quickly turned around, ready to attack, only to be met by a very stern Wonder Woman.

"Diana! What was-"

SLAP!

He was interrupted by a very firm hand to the face. It didn't hurt of course, but Wonder Woman did have super strength.

"I can't believe you! That boy is practically your son, and you cast him aside like a used tissue!"

"But-"

SLAP!

"I don't care where he came from! He's here now, and you're going to have to do something about it. For Athena's sake, you're Superman! The Man of Steel!"

"But what about-"

SLAP!

"Not. Another. Word. Or so help me, I will right-hook you so hard you'll travel to Hades and back. You are now a father, whether you like it or not. Do you understand me Clark Kent?

"But what if-"

"I said do you understand me!"

For a moment, the great, powerful, indestructible Superman had a glimmer of fear in his eyes. Sure, he could face Doomsday, Darkseid, and Lex Luthor any time, but an angry woman was another story. And this was an angry Amazon woman. And when that angry Amazon woman was Diana Prince, well, there will literally be Hell to pay. She was nearly as potent as kryptonite. Seeing no way out, Superman hung his head in defeat.

"Yes ma'am." he muttered in defeat.

Diana's demeanour instant changed, as a smile crossed her face.

"Great then! You'll raise the kid, take him to the Fortress of Solitude, give him a Kryptonian name, teach him how to use his powers, all that jazz." she said, patting him on the back, before giving him a forceful push towards the young heroes, "It will be great!"

Superman still had a few thousand questions and excuses tumbling around in his brain, but he decided to keep his mouth shut, although one question stood out among the others.

How would he explain this to Lois?
