Genesis[]

The universe was created by the Big Bang, and the One Being was formed.

The One Being wages war on the Elder Gods he created. The Elder Gods emerge victorious and split the One Being into the six realms. Its consciousness persists, in hoping to combine the realms.

During that time, Kronika was created and was forged as the Keeper of Time; with those reality-bending abilities, she was quickly proven to be more powerful than the Elder Gods themselves and similar to the One Being, thus labeled as a Titaness (so far, one and only). Her offspring, Shinnok and Cetrion, soon followed.

Later on, the elemental Gods, including Raiden and Fujin, were born.

500 - 450 million years B.C.[]

The earliest era of Earthrealm, the world of ocean, had finally been created! The very first lifeforms were born such as basic plants and coral, single-celled organisms, and then evolved to jellyfish, eels, sea slugs, starfish, and soon sharks known as Kuraselache, including the Megalodon! Terodus were also created along with Zinichthy, Trilobite, Cepalas, and squid.

350 - 230 million years B.C.[]

After many land shifts and volcanic eruptions, the earliest continents have emerged. With the abundance of oxygen, more creatures emerged and adapted to the new environments. Those include the Coelafish, Ikustega, Megausu, Bull Ikustega, horned lizards, and the fierce Debustega. After the predators had been reduced, more evolutions took place introducing the Profasu., Edasaurus, Mosuchop, and Giant Wasps ruled by their Kings and Queens.

200 - 65 million years B.C.[]

Although this was known as the Early Age of Reptiles and soon Amphibians, the latter made it long and tumultuous for dinosaurs to emerge onto Earthrealm. This era had a transit from insects, to reptiles, to frogs/toads, but the latter overridden some of its species including Prime Frogs, a reduction in Bull Ikustega, and soon to the more advanced Tecodonto, Polsaurus, Brosasaurus, Prasauro, Segosaurus, Syrocosaurus and the Mother Prime Frog and her babies wreaking havoc.

With more evolutions, the Prime Frog invasion dwindled, and more species were created including Plesasaur, Nautilus, Tritops, Ptenodon, and Phamcys. Soon after a million more years, there were some Deltadium, Pronesaurus, Omosaurus, and the mighty Tyrasaurus.

64,997,975 BC[]

Shinnok hatches a plan to wage war against the Elder Gods and seize Earthrealm. Raiden leads the resistance against Shinnok, and winning over him, causing the realm to be encased in darkness and death for centuries while losing the majority of the dinosaurs including the Saurian race. He led the doomed species into Zaterra, then imprisons Shinnok into the Netherrealm and hides his Amulet in the Temple of Elements. He enlists some elemental guardians, including Fujin, after he built the Temple to guard it.

The plan on invading Earthrealm and warring against the Elder Gods was Shinnok's revenge after he rebelled against her mom, Kronika; she was using him and Cetrion as pawns for her schemes of manipulation as life and death, but only to satisfy her own needs. Since Shinnok discovered her machinations on abusing her family, let alone endless and eternal wars, the Elder Gods were petty and ignorant, thus him becoming irate! By the time he was casted, his memories of his family had been lost, yet still he was consumed by wrath and revenge against the pantheon, specifically Raiden.

Ice Age (65 - 36 million years B.C.)[]

65 million years often being rounded up from Shinnok's invasion.

The earliest species are as follows by natural selection, those being the Deltadium, very few Bull Ikustega and Tritops, Warthogs, and some Great Birds. As the last of the dinos passed on due to the lack of vegetation and immense frigid climates, there were Paramis, Balrium, even some penguins and seals living in ancient Arctika! Mammoths and mastodons existed as well! Even the Hynodon and Yetis!

26 - 3 million years B.C.[]

Early man had finally been evolved, especially the primates!

Paramis still existed, but not so many. Sincerous existed along with the more common piranhas, the emergence of sea otters specifically in the western parts of Pangea, the more common alligators, even the grizzly bears and Eohip, saber-tooth tigers, Condors, bulls, and finally monkeys! Ditryma were abundant aka the legendary Dodo birds with no wings, as were the Rogon who made cetaceans be living at risk.

The Rogon were eventually overthrown as cetaceans evolved and became more intelligent. As did man as they began to dominate the land and made the remaining ancient species extinct... Darkness and disorder were brewing across the realms, and Earthrealm no longer sustained much natural order...

9765 BC[]

The last Ice Age began in Pangea, Earthrealm. The Makeba migrated from Outworld to Earthrealm and settled at the epicenter of Pangea.

Onaga's then poisoned by his advisor, Shao Kahn, as he desired to rule Outworld himself with his lust for chaos. From there, he starts his conquest merging the realms, leaving the smaller realms in disarray, with Outworld. He first sets his sights on Edenia, and the Elder Gods establish the Mortal Kombat tournament. The rules are established in which the Champion must win 10 times to claim the rights to conquer another Realm.

Foreseeing Delia's vision, Argus puts their sons, Taven and Daegon, to sleep for a prolonged period of time until Armageddon, with their guardian dragons watching over them. Blaze was created and the Pyramid of Argus was erected.

8000 BC[]

Kahn's warriors win 10 straight victories against Edenia. He kills Jerrod and forcibly marries Queen Sindel. Once Outworld merged with Edenia, she committed suicide to escape his treacherous reign, but Kahn had her soul trapped. He then raises Kitana as his own.

259-210 BC[]

Centuries ago, Lo Pan was defeated in battle by Emperor Qin Shi Huang. fore father of the Qin Dynasty. He cursed Lo Pan with incorporeality; although Lo Pan can be temporarily granted a decrepit body by supplication to the gods, he can permanently break the curse by marrying a woman with green eyes and sacrificing her. His attempts were unsuccessful on account on how rare they were...

Before Kung Lao's time[]

The factions were created (Red Dragon, members broke off to form the Black Dragon, then came the Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu).

Daegon, due to his premature birth since Caro lost connections with Blaze upon its capture by Onaga's zealots, remained in hiding within the dangerous depths of the Krimson Forest and Charred Mountain. He enslaved Caro for time immemorial and the Red Dragons rose to power ever since.

Scorpion kills Bi-Han as revenge for the massacre of the Shirai Ryu, then they were put under Shang's thrall as revenants.

Liu Kang soon returned to the Temple of Light and discovered Chan's death. He embarks on a quest for revenge, even though he still feels guilty he wasn't there for his brother as he refused to accept his destiny as the Chosen One.

Kung Lao finds out about his rival's fate. At first, he wasn't interested in the tournament since he only wanted to live a peaceful lifestyle; however, the monks pressured him to follow in his ancestor's footsteps, and his anxieties began to get the best of him. While each of the Kombatants boarded the Nethership, Kung Lao snuck aboard without an invitation. Raiden ordered him to disable traps throughout the island instead of fighting Shang.

August 18, 1992[]

The first tournament of Mortal Kombat started. Liu Kang defeated the anonymous monk whose soul was imprisoned by Shang. Moments later, Sonya decimates Kano, while Johnny found Scorpion during one stroll, was teleported to the Netherrealm, and made the wraith explode upon Cage's victory. It's possible Raiden warped him back to the island.

Kitana sparred with Liu Kang and offered him advice on winning the next match. Liu was lured to a chamber in which he fought and killed Bi-Han.

Kung Lao witnessed the death of Art by the destructive four hands of Goro; deja vu of his ancestor's fate, Raiden held him back. Johnny Cage defeats Goro, putting Lao at ease, before Sonya was captured and taken to the Black Tower in Outworld.

Liu and Johnny embark to rescue her as she refused to accept the final challenge. Liu destroys Reptile, Kitana allies with the heroes, and they intrude Shang's turf.

Liu emerged victorious destroying Shang Tsung. Chan's soul was in peace.

Shao Kahn was appalled by his failures, resulting a desperate attempt to resurrect his fallen warriors. After the heroes returned for China for a brief celebration, Kahn threatened them to take their souls, which prompted them to return to the isle. Kahn's hasty resurrection costed Shang to age rapidly upon his sudden recuperation.

The events of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks take place.

With the thrall broken over the ninja revenants, all hell breaks loose! The brawl transpired in the courtyard, and Kung Lao broke his disguise as one of Shang's guards, realizing he's still alive. Shang Tsung ran into the massive portal with his followers and destroys the Island! The Kombatants escape to the Wu Shi Academy.

Raiden congratulates their victory; however, Baraka led the Tarkatans on a vicious attack! Many monks were killed while a few that stayed alive were imprisoned. Liu, Lao, and Cage head to Outworld for the second tournament while Sonya was incapacitated by Baraka and taken to Kahn's arena with the wounded Kano.

The cybernetic initiative of the Lin Kuei was established. Kuai Liang and Smoke attempted to escape after witnessing the horrific conversion on Cyrax and Sektor. Oniro spotted them and forced Smoke to become a cyber–Lin Kuei.

Mileena was created within the Flesh Pits by Shang Tsung, Kitana notices the incident, she lost due to her Tarkatan enhancements, and thus she and Jade were put under mind control by Kahn for their treachery.

Shujinko finally left the Netherrealm and made his way to the Chaosrealm where he retrieved the Kamidogu. He soon aged several years, but it only has been a few minutes in Earthrealm before he was successful. The portal to Outworld was forged.

Shujinko soon encountered Mileena who enlisted his help on a city named Lei Chen. The Tarkatans were sent to override the city and its overlord who refused the rights to Kahn. In order to spare the city, the overlord must surrender. Unfortunately, the village had nothing to offer and Shujinko can't relinquish the Kamidogu to them. Later, the way to the Orderrealm was open and Shujinko met Hotaru, although Shujinko needed to train himself as a Seido guard. He was successful as he broke off a riot involving Darrius. Hotaru drove off the Tarkatan horde.

Damashi then offered Shujinko to train himself in the next tournament. Although Mileena would've been created, she wouldn't be before the first tournament, so Shujinko trained until he met up with Kenshi. Recently, he was blinded by Song, disguised by Shang, and since the ancestral spirits ran amok, Kenshi lost his sight. Shujinko then helped him out for a time, until Nightwolf found him before Kenshi joined the Special Forces.

The shaman was about to reach higher learning till he sensed corruption in Shujinko's soul. Thru vigorous training he was successful, before he abandoned his obsolete Matokan tribe and learnt quickly becoming a tech wiz! Although it'd take years to train him, Damashi stated he must keep it to travel in between realms. Shujinko met up with Raiden and bested him, then he went back to the Netherrealm to regain his purged taint.

The monks meet up with the Edenian trio. Mileena was stunned but soon escaped, leaving Jade slaughtered and Kitana breaking Kahn's thrall.

A Lin Kuei warrior spies from behind the trees in the Living Forest spotting the monks. Smoke had already been converted into a cyborg, even though the ninja shared Tomas's alias.

The resurrected Reptile, along with his pet snake, were slain by the Monks in the Living Forest.

Liu and Lao found Shang Tsung rejuvenating himself. Baraka along with the majority of Tarkatans, were killed in the Soul Tombs.

By the time they reached the Wastelands, Kuai was separated from Smoke, and in an attempt for assistance, he hunted down for his brother. Goro was defeated by the monks, though Johnny finished him off. The heroes chased Scorpion into the Netherrealm where Bi-Han became a wraith named Noob Saibot; Kuai, due to the intense heat and mighty prowess of Saibot, returned to Earthrealm in hiding. Scorpion was slain by the monks.

They eventually met up in Kahn's arena and fought off the young Shang Tsung, Kintaro, and finally the Emperor! Quan Chi, with the real Amulet, brought Kahn back in a weakened state...

Liu and Lao celebrated their victory; however, it was short-lived since a distraught monk broke the news to the latter on being eternally cursed and sharing the great ancestor's fate.

Mortal Kombat- Defenders of the Realm (1995)

Raiden puts Lao in a sleep state before he alerts Nightwolf of the numerous rips weakening Earth's dimensional fabric. Since Kahn returned, the Thunder God believed he was gaining strength upon each invasion. The events on Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm happen.

Kurtis Stryker was spared by Raiden during a sudden scrimmage in New York. In New Jersey, the young Aiko was found by Raiden and was only brought to the hidden base on Saturdays on account of school and her ripe age.

During the trimester, Sub-Zero was found and recruited as a true defender of Earth while hiding from the Lin Kuei. Scorpion escaped the Netherrealm and plans to revive the dead throughout all realms; however, Liu Kang was successful on preventing the calamity.

Komodai incapacitates Jax's bionic arms. Sonya gets captured until Jax defeats him and his lost Saurian clan.

Rain was found, though he became treacherous and failed to defeat Liu Kang and Kitana.

Kuai soon finds Smoke and Oniro, though fails to save his friend while his nemesis flees.

Kano recovers and leads the warriors on a wild goose chase while he's stationed in Egypt till the heroes catch up and runs.

Quan Chi makes his first move to decimate the protectors after he visited Zaterra and attained the Gem of Testurri. He disguised himself as a boy and infected the group, excepting Nightwolf, Aiko, and the Koopas who were found after emerging in Earthrealm and were unable to best Kahn in kombat who usurped their realm. Nightwolf destroys the Gem, Quan flees, and Kahn reluctantly ordered his Shadow Priests to resurrect Shang Tsung.

He offered him the orb of nature, but Shang's mission failed, and he was sent into the Cobalt Mines. While there, he enlisted the Shokan in a revolt against Kahn, after hearing their displeasure that Kahn treated them as inferior compared to the Centaurs. As Goro and Kintaro failed in the previous 2 tournaments, they never shown up.

The realm of Ilkan was discovered but was still merged with Outworld. Years ago, Ramath was killed by Zara, however, Kitana managed to banish her into the void while sealing the twin swords away.

Kabal was found as he eloped from the Black Dragon clan. Kano escaped.

Ruby, a spy, was enlisted by Kahn to watch over Jax as he mourns for his grandfather while stationed in his isolated cabin; Jax decided to quit the team as the endless battles made him feel detached. Ermac (who was resurrected from his demise by Liu and Lao in the Warrior Shrine) makes a surprise attack and Ruby aids with sleeping gas, taking Jax under Kahn's Fortress. They torture him on the whereabouts of his base, but Jax refuses. Ruby was found out as a traitor to both factions. It's most likely Kahn punished her severely, making her as his oncoming experiment, Skarlet.

December 14th, 1992[]

On the final week of the three months, Kitana and Asgaarth hatched a rebellion with the Shokan and take Kahn's throne, since this was the 5000th anniversary of Jerrod's death. Shang Tsung disguised himself as Sheeva, plotting a rebellion against Kahn and insurrecting the throne of Outworld for himself. The Centaurs and Tarkatans sided with Kahn upon receiving the news by Motaro with Raiden giving the message; Motaro was Sheeva's worst enemy. A large melee ensued and the heroes, excepting Nightwolf and Aiko, escaped back to Earthrealm. Aiko was soon discharged while Asgaarth surveyed the damage...

MK Shaolin Monks, Part II roster

The events on Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Part II transpire.

Aiko Krackle was suddenly sent back 16 years from her dystopian future, when most of the Kombatants along with Sindel were revived as revenants by Shinnok and Quan Chi destroying Earthrealm. She wound up in the New Jersey streets and was saved by Kung Lao from a sexual predator. Raiden enlisted them both to join the team. Kung Lao got rid of the remaining stragglers led by Komodai, and they became true defenders.

December 16th, 1992[]

Sindel's resurrected and brainwashed in Egypt by the Shadow Priests, Quan and a wounded Shang, allowing Kahn to slip into Earthrealm and merge it with Outworld. The invasion occurs.

December 18th, 1992[]

Liu Kang destroys him while Sindel restores the Edenian throne.

Aiko and Nightwolf became mingled of the White Lotus Society, not yet members. Aiko declared to stay within the Wu Shi Academy walls and eventually becomes a Chinese citizen. She, along with Kung Lao, quit the Order of Light since they abhor violence.

The Special Forces reinstated Sonya and Jax upon the invasions. The Outer World Investigation Agency was formed, led by Jax.

December 19th, 1992[]

Most of the chapters within Ikran's Side Mortal Kombat Stories take place.

Needless to say, Aiko's first day in China was never easy. She was lucky a Shaolin warrior offered her a free room as it once belonged to a fallen friend. She decided she'd need a job and since she's a cardiokinetic, they decided to assist them at fishing by disabling their hearts. Unfortunately, she kept losing her way throughout the Academy, even wandering outside the walls where she was ambushed by several hostile boys! She saw red and fought them off maliciously even wanting to burst a heart from the leading assailant. She even outburst and declared a couple Shaolin who were teasing her as human weapons and wished she never had a difficult history between both countries! Lao assured they just admired her skills and reminded her the Shaolin are more benevolent; even a lone monk escorted her back after she dealt with the hostiles. Aiko calmed but was still on the defensive.

Christmas Day[]

Aiko spends her first Christmas in China at the Wu Shi Academy; she was thankful that Raiden clarified even though the Shaolin are Buddhists they can still celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts as long as it's from love and compassion.

1993[]

On one Sunday, Aiko grew irritated on the many hymns to God; as there were only to Him instead of Raiden, and soon others joining the pantheon. She actually had an idea to donate each Sunday at the Grotto, and her first was his theme song! He stated that Jesus was real and not some urban legend, and the Elder Gods blessed Mary and Joesph without having the former pregnant. Raiden did train him at times even stray him away from evil intentions.

When it was almost spring, Aiko needed to take an excruciatingly long physical! First, the Shaolin, Liu and Lao suggested for her to meet the monks' physician, Dr. Esuna Kavita. Lao guided her to her office which was close to the Academy, and the doc also knew about the White Lotus. She gave Aiko a urine test, recorded her weight, height, vision, and her heart. The next day, Kavita gave Aiko a blood test, up to 7 milliliters; thanks to Raiden and his Jinsei healing her, she was ready for the constant shots that needed to be taken considering she's from America (including measles, mumps, flu, not chickenpox since she still has the antibodies, and TB). The test results returned within 24 hours from being taken and Aiko's officially blood type A and has anemia. Kavita then gave Aiko a jar of beet supplements, as well as Super Beets for on the go if she should help defend other realms.

After a few weeks while taking the shots, Aiko warmed up then had a footrace and competed with other lightweight Shaolin. Liu led the charge, and Aiko was falling sharply behind on account of her limited stamina; she had her doubts if the new iron inputs'd work... She abruptly looked aloft and noticed a thundercloud was brewing which made her had a rush of adrenaline! She whizzed past each of the warriors including a few leading others and broke the tape! Lao greeted her and they relaxed for several minutes until Liu arrived and had addressed them before the White Lotus! Raiden led the ceremony, and they congratulated Aiko, Nightwolf and Kiba joining their ranks!

A Date and a Destiny took place and Liu left to recruit fresh, new Shaolin warriors in America with Raiden's periodic guidance.

August 1993[]

This was actually Aiko's first Chinese Valentine's Day (during the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar), much to her frustration as she needed a calendar. Technically this took place in July. The traditions triggered some bad memories within Raiden as he recalled losing his lover, Suijin and the other Thunder God, Riuky, upon Shinnok's invasion across the heavens and in Earthrealm. Even a couple Orientals watched thru a celestial object with that said destruction and prepared for Shinnok's return.

1994[]

Without Kahn's dominion, the Brotherhood of Shadow gain the opportunity to rejuvenate Shinnok.

Liu Kang leaves for America to recruit fresher Shaolin warriors while he meets up with Kai and Nightwolf advances technology throughout the Academy.

Fujin falls near the Bayan Har Mountains and the Kombatants were recruited. Johnny Cage and Jade were resurrected by Raiden after two years in the Sky Temple.

Quan Chi escapes and forms the Deadly Alliance with Shang Tsung after 500 years forming the Unholy Alliance. He kills Liu Kang and Raiden saves his soul in a dragon amulet. He and Fujin recruit the warriors before they embark to Outworld. Sareena took Quan Chi's portal into Outworld as she defects from the underworld and recovers from the battle with Noob Saibot.

While the heroes were busy, Raiden then found Shujinko again as he enlisted his disciples against the Deadly Alliance. Shujinko offered to help, however, there was a scrimmage in Outworld. The Sun Do residents were enslaved, and Shujinko was captured and taken to another camp where he trained Li Mei minus Bo'. He made it back to Lei Chen, but he was arrested and remained in a cell. It's possible he remained there for a few weeks since it took place before Deception, and he was about to stand trial until Dairou sprung an assault allowing him to escape. He then took the Kamidogu from Hotaru and fled to his final destination, Edenia.

Although Sindel wasn't captured, Shujinko met up with Kitana and soon the Queen, instructing him to find and keep away the Kamidogu. As warned by Damashi, he told him of the One Being, as well as Kahn's desire to merge realms, in case he shall be resurrected like the Deadly Alliance...

The heroes traverse thru Outworld and enlist Kitana and Jade from Edenia. They encounter Bo in his drunken state as he failed to save the Sun Do residents and their promising disciple, Li Mei, from the Alliance's enslavement. They meet up with Kenshi who was searching for the rumored Dragoonfly and found it while escaping from Makeba territory. They soon found Cyrax and the realm of Vaeternus was separated from Outworld! They also found a time-displaced Baraka who came from 5,000 years in the future by Kronika and Kano. They soon infiltrated Shang's Palace, disabled the Soulnado as Bo' saved the remaining slaves, and Hanzo was slain along with the lardo. The Deadly Alliance warred against Kung Lao and Nightwolf and were decimated with assistance by Kenshi and Liu's spirit! The Kombatants returned to Earthrealm, while some headed to Edenia. Several hours later, Liu's spirit was put to rest, and he offered to ascend into the Heavens, until Nightwolf received a night terror.

Return of the Dragon King roster

Onaga had been resurrected taking the body of Reptile! Events in Return of the Dragon King transpire.

Shujinko completed his quest as he reunited all six Kamidogu in the Nexus altar.

Baraka had been promoted as one of Edenia's guards.

Moments later, Raiden and Fujin battled the invincible Dragon King, but failed. Even several of the other Kombatants konsisting of Kung Lao, Nightwolf, Sonya, Johnny, Jax, and Kitana; everyone was at Onaga's mercy until Raiden conjured lightning into himself in which eventually self-destructed! The impact destroyed everyone and everything, excepting Onaga who only suffered a scratch onto him as he retrieved the fake amulet from the Palace rubble.

Just mere milliseconds before Raiden's sacrifice, Fujin managed to teleport Nightwolf and Kung Lao to the safety of the Jinsei Chamber; due to his limited abilities, he was only able to retrieve 2 mortals while the rest were left for dead...

Kung Lao's subconscious shifted many years into the past, to 1964 (before the birth of the two Shaolin brothers) as he followed the young Shujinko during the inception of his quest. Raiden mentioned in his astral form, there wasn't much he can do but watch the events unfold; he hoped he'd retrieve the answers needed to stop Onaga for good. Lao woke up as he entered the portal to the Nexus after Shujinko found the Earth Kamidogu. Lao then went to Outworld, reunited with Hanzo and Goro and agreed to stop Onaga's conquest with his new undead followers.

Aiko and Kenshi sensed suspicious activity from Outworld; they investigated and found no evidence in the Palace rubble. They faced Ermac, then Kenshi telepathically released him from Kahn's thrall and soothed the raging souls within him. Jerrod's soul remained and they teleported them to Edenia. The royal guard addressed before their long-lost king informing them that Sindel and Jade left to incinerate Onaga's remains. They entered the Lost Tomb where Tanya and a brainwashed Kitana ambushed the Edenians. Ermac made his move onto his daughter halting her; Jade finished Tanya but she and Sindel refused to fight. Aiko whistled the lullaby and Kitana reunited with her father, returning her to normal. The remains were destroyed, and they came to the conclusion that Onaga's searching for Shinnok's Amulet. Liu knew the location and Kenshi opened a portal near his tomb.

Lao collapsed and he witnessed Shujinko's journey into the Netherrealm. He was woken up by Li Mei after several hours, and before the Florence Nightengale Effect took advantage of her, Lao mentioned his heart belongs to Aiko only. Li Mei led Lao and Hanzo to the ancient Outworld portal to the Nexus where the Champions enter the Chaosrealm and recruit Havik. Li Mei was escorted by Fujin as he carried a comatose Johnny after his battle lost with Kung Lao. Uncertain how to deal with a Revenant, Fujin kept him away from trouble and the Edenians imprisoned him in the Temple of Elements; Fujin opened a portal leading there.

Hanzo escorted Lao back to Earthrealm after the latter suffered his brain being overloaded. Former received word from Kenshi they've yet to recruit Edenia's and Outworld's Champion, which Ermac believed he can impersonate the fallen warrior as a collection of souls. While everyone theorized Goro may still be Outworld's lost Champion. Liu then contacted his grandfather about Shujinko and Damashi; he heard of the young wanderer although Damashi was never heard as a name, but Japanese term for deception! Alarmed Liu and Ermac teleported near the ancient portal, the monk's spirit revived Lao, then they followed the sudden dark aura.

Aiko and Kenshi arrived at the Temple of Elements to protect the last Kamidogu. She proved Li Mei that Lao was loyal to her as she shown her heart gem. Then, a brewing storm gathered which toggled Aiko and Kenshi who followed the storm. To everyone's shock, they traced a reformed Raiden but as his darker sinister self; Nightwolf's alarm picked up the intrusion in Liu's Tomb as he uncovered and resurrected the corpse utilizing the black arts of the lost Houan necromancers. Raiden warned the shaman to activate the weapon and conjure a rainstorm to restore his vitality partially; he also warned Fujin of duplicating himself as a risk taught by the Elder Gods, as the majority of his essence was sacrificed when he self-destructed.

Liu's spirit united with Lao and defeated the doppelganger, while he and Fujin lost to a wrathful Raiden; he decapitated Shujinko for his foolishness and treachery and vowed to assassinate anyone as a threat to Earthrealm, with Liu's zombie as an enforcer. They began their invasion near the Temple of Light and Aiko escorted the monks to the Dragon Grotto. Kenshi was incapacitated and escorted by Ermac. Dark Raiden was about to finish the warriors till Nightwolf activated the EMP, then hit by a massive lightning strike by the pure Raiden! He assured everyone they're in good hands!

Liu, Lao, Hanzo and Ermac raced to the Nexus, but found Shujinko's sizzling and decapitated body near the Houan heap. Bi-Han met Sareena at Articka as she defected from the Netherrealm; she followed Quan Chi and recovered from her wounds in Outworld after the lethal scrimmage with Noob Saibot. Kuai, Frost and Smoke volunteered to reach Outworld, near the runes showcasing Onaga's resurrection where Sareena's portal stood as she highlighted her encounter with Bi-Han.

Smoke hesitated and offered for him and Frost to standby as the underworld was too lethal. The pair breached the underworld and were soon assisted by Ashrah decimating the wraith's spirit, making the trio ascend. Raiden alerted the trio of Onaga's awakening, Kuai and Sareena reached Outworld, while Ashrah dealt with Johnny reanimated and escaping from his prison. She stopped him from reaching the Amulet.

Nightwolf met up with Smoke and Frost after he attained tainted Matokan spirits, though they weren't enough to bind Onaga, so he volunteered to assist them as Onaga gathers his army. Baraka alerted the heroes Onaga took the form of Reptile and, dreading he'd see his malicious double, he also assisted.

Onaga and his army declared war onto Outworld and Edenia as they massacred the Sun Do people; Sonya and Jax awaited coordinates of the location of the last Kamidogu courtesy of their hive mind. Thanks to Tanya and Kitana, Onaga was able to reunite the Kamidogu after he'd find the last piece. The Saurians, Shokan and Centaurs ambushed the army!

Kung Lao stole the Earthrealm Kamidogu and recalled Onaga's deception thru hallucination. He then confronted Onaga and escaped from realm to realm alerting the denizens of Onaga's return, including the Chaosrealm and Outworld, while keeping the Kamidogu away!

Thru the Outworld Living Forest (a mile away from the war), Kung Lao was chased by Onaga, even through the Chaosrealm and Orderealm. He returned to the Nexus only for Onaga to be ambushed by Goro and revived Lao with the Kamidogu. Lao, Goro, Liu, Hanzo, Ermac and Havik fought off the dragon, and followed Liu's strategy on destroying each of the Kamidogu, thus making Onaga falter. The Kombatants released their fury without the dragon's power source, until Kung Lao conjured and tossed Onaga from his lethal F4 tornado. Reptile soon became lifeless as Onaga's soul was weak enough to be trapped in the Netherrealm by Nightwolf; Ashrah then guided the shaman into the Sky Temple. The Kombatants, excepting Havik who was forced into the Chaosrealm by Ermac, went to the Temple for recuperation.

Minutes later, each of the infantry, then the restored Special Forces, and the Champions recuperated and waited for Liu and Lao's spiritual cleansing and the monk's transition to his corpse. Raiden and Fujin managed to decimate the Houan Chains; Nightwolf arrived in the nick of time to revive Liu. Several minutes passed as each of the participants, excepting Baraka, Sub-Zero and the Saurians, prayed for him.

The god brothers and the shaman were eventually successful healing Kung Lao's wounds. Moments had passed before the trio...and even the Champion walked out of the Temple. They announced that Liu Kang finally recovered his normal self; he stated he felt his nerves blaze and lungs filled with air as he was reborn as the Champion of Mortal Kombat! He then shared the title with Kung Lao, even as savior of all the realms!

Minutes later in the Edenian chambers, Kitana soon became distraught on fighting so many battles, wishing they'd all end instead of dreading for a more stronger enemy. Blaze actually came to her and denounced she must prepare for Armageddon and....the final kombat.

Christmas[]

The holidays still commenced, and Aiko became more skilled in finding gifts.

1996[]

March 1996[]

It was during March's springtime. Nighrwolf received a spiritual message, possibly from his ancestors, that his last born within the Matoka was about to receive her tribal name. Aiko found out about it, and she became distraught since he, Raiden, Lao and Liu were tagging along on such short notice. Luckily, while Jin'd be at school, he and Aiko won't be involved, and Raiden planned for Fujin to stand by with the Shaolin and Kai while he enlisted Kenshi to train her in heart-mind coherence. She and Fujin actually orchestrated a number after recruiting Ashrah, Jerrod and Goro as not only a counteragent, but also enriching the Shaolin's hearts! Earlier on, Liu grew concerned of its diminishing members of the White Lotus, after being recoiled by the negative side effects of meditation.

During the rehearsals of the hot dance, Aiko saw her Revenant self along with Liu Kang as chieftains of the Netherrealm!! They were both in the same drumming trance and the two dimensions converged even though it was still March 1996. In the altered dimension, there was the Darkseid War as well as insurrection onto the Elder Gods led by Liu! He converted Aiko to join his ranks, and later Lao too. The Makeba, Matoka and all tribes integrated with them!

The hot dance at the Matokan camp started as did the two numbers, Hearts on Fire and an instrumental of We Are the Champions! Raiden soon congratulated Aiko on mastering coherence and restoring the Shaolin to their former glory.

Final Kombat roster

Sometime later, Kitana slipped away from her Edenian home to recruit her distant allies for the battle of Armageddon. She soon came across the awakened Taven in Earthrealm; in order to prove he was the real deal, she challenged him to a battle in which she was defeated. Assured, she continued on her journey and wished Taven luck. Thanks to the help of Orin, he was able to traverse from realm to realm, even head to Argus' temple where it was abandoned. On his way, he was ambushed by the uprising Red Dragons, and moments later captured by the Tekunin led by Sektor. He narrowly escaped from the warship which was shot down by the Special Forces led by Gen. Sonya Blade. Orin then sent him to Arctika to find more answers upon the intel of the terroristic group.

Taven found members of the Lin Kuei, including Smoke, who took him into the Lin Kuei Temple. Contrary to MKA, Delia's Temple was a distant place not many people knew nor go to due to the inclement weather. The Lin Kuei Temple was never abandoned, Sareena was still in their ranks, and Frost was never delusional, nor did Smoke join with Noob. Taven soon finds the missing armor and Ice Scepter and finds himself with Bi-Han who was looking for Kuai over the past four months. Raiden recruited Kuai, Smoke, Frost, and had Sareena meet up with the new Goddess of Light, Ashrah, to prepare for Armageddon. The Lin Kuei grew worried of the enemies' uprisings.

Taven went to Charred Mountain after receiving intel from the Lin Kuei who identified his assailants. He ventured to the HQ only to be followed by Fujin who spotted him. The Wind God was frozen by an unknown force. A mysterious pyrokinetic firebombed the base, killing most of the occupants inside, including some Red and Black Dragons and deformed hybrids. Taven was startled to find Daegon grown as he awakened ages sooner than him, thus head started on the quest and formed the Red Dragons to kill Taven and enslave Caro. During the attack, Caro was freed by the same elemental, who was also traced as "Blaze," even though he wielded time, fire, lightning, and Jinsei energy, He took Caro into hiding on the Yin Yang Island and eventually returned to watch over Taven. Orin was spared by the Oriental as he injured Quan Chi and he warned none of the enemies must be killed as they'd recover fully in the Netherrealm before Armageddon. Before he resumed his quest, Orin passed the word over to Taven.

Raiden summoned several Kombatants to the Dragon Grotto to explain the consequences of Blaze and Armageddon. From the visions, Raiden decided to take the tainted Kung Lao, Aiko, Nightwolf, Hanzo and their new ally, Frederick as a scout, to the Netherrealm to espionage on Shinnok. Kitana found Frederick at the Botan Jungle as a scout who helped her go to the Wu Shi Academy to reunite with her closest allies. The group cross the Sea of Blood aboard Kharon's Ship, and Caro joined as he saved Aiko's fall observed by the Oriental. They infiltrate Shinnok's Spire, fight thru a gauntlet and meet up with Taven. Havik prepares for Armageddon and makes Hanzo reconvert Dairou and Darrius. The deformed Shinnok stated he diffused after absorbing Liu's pure heart empowered by Nightwolf and remembered his distant family before he was casted and wished to restore her via his amulet. He summarized his stronger self is conspiring with Kahn and other overlords for Armageddon and attain the prize by slaying Blaze. The heroes return to Earthrealm and regroup. The weakened Shinnok conspired with Hanzo to retrieve the amulet, while the double stole away his vitality and Aiko's black heart. Liu and Kitana made plans to fight back their enemies and teamed up with the Chameleons and Baraka while the Shokan plan to relocate to Australia. Goro defeated Kintaro while they enlisted the Tigerian to keep their stead. The Tests were established at the Academy and only Liu, Lao, Nightwolf. Kai and Frederick were eligible, but the scout turned down the offer.

Taven arrived in Edenia and reunited with the nobles, Bo' Rai Cho and the Chameleons while Mileena and Baraka joined the cause. The Netherwing was erected and ready for the final voyage.

All enemies are revived resulting in Armageddon. Blaze is awakened to carry out Delia's plan while the brothers war each other. Raiden conspired with Liu Kang for their...final kombat. Aiko picks up the news after she noticed the merger with the two, hence becoming Fire God Liu Kang. Daegon was bested in battle by Taven and the Pyramid ascends as he steps thru the portal for the trigger. Liu holds back Blaze's onslaughts long enough to create a sacred fire cocoon for his allies before everyone was incinerated, and the Pyramid of Argus explodes in the process!

Realizing the Elder Gods' negligence on letting havoc wreak across all realms, they mourn for Raiden's and Liu's sacrifices and they and the revived Catrion (provided by the memories from Shinnok's Amulet and the dark gem) provide a recuperating downpour onto the heroes. Kung Lao was the last to awaken, ascend the pyramid, and the red headband was the only trace left of his mentors incinerating into nonexistence with the other enemies. His destiny has finally gone full circle, carrying his ancestor's legacy for good. By default, Lao became the new Chosen One while Taven attains godhood. Bi-Han and Sareena become allies to the Lin Kuei and set aside their discrepancies with the Shirai Ryu.

Liu Kang visited Lao and Aiko as they'd been mourning at the Tomb, stating he's still alive and wishes to visit them occasionally while he, the elder Kitana and Caro are free to roam to anytime since Armageddon ceased.

Several weeks later, Caro invited Aiko to the Yin Yang Island, out of loneliness as a storm was picking up. He escorted her into the renovated cave made by Liu and Kitana. He then recapped the events that transpired, including Liu's confrontation with Kronika and Cetrion, his own merger with Raiden and his Revenant, and soon retrieved the Krown from Shang; after the titan's defeat he recruited Kitana as the new Keepers of Time and enlisted Caro. But in actuality, Liu and Kitana delivered their boy, Cheung Kang.

KungKottage

Kung Kottage where the Kungs and Aiko stayed

After that, Aiko was discussing with the Kungs she'd forgotten to ask Raiden, before he and the younger Liu perished, on how/why she'd been influenced by tribal drums. Fire God Liu Kang visited and escorted Aiko and Lao to the Hourglass and shown the evolution of Earthrealm as well as her shocking fact she's the descendant from the Matoka! He made a plan to utilize those customs with Nightwolf for her, and Lao out of intrigue, to utilize them as a weapon!

Several months later, Cassie and Jacqui were born along with new kin from Kuai and Frost, as well as Jade and Taven.

Sometime before the year ended, one of the Side Stories took place in which Lord Liu Kang made one last visit to Shang's abandoned isle; dark memories filled his mind, and he unleashed his fury inside the main tower! At Yin Yang Island, Kitana, Cheung, and Caro were alarmed of the sudden tremors, then witnessed a distant eruption! Caro made it out to be Liu decimating whatever remained of the isle, leaving no memories of Shang behind, excepting the Well of Souls in which he preserved as hallowed ground and allowing these enslaved souls to rest.

Raiden's Memorial

Lord Liu Kang's new memorial for Raiden

A couple weeks ago, there was a random lightning strike upon Yin Yang Island, and using that site, Liu conjured an eternal flame and constructed a memorial for Raiden's sacrifice from Blaze, as well as Liu's mortal counterpart.

Christmas[]

There were still the holidays even after Armageddon. Lord Liu Kang used his advanced temporal duplication to make more gifts for Cheung, or between Aiko's past and present selves.

Early 1997[]

Little did Aiko's present and past selves knew that the VHS tape actually highlighted the same events at Dante's Peak but were just one of the instabilities of Earthrealm. When 1997 rolled around, it triggered a memory watching that said incident; Aiko was desperately to observe thru the Hourglass in which Liu showed it was in Washington state, but...already erupted. This was a negative from several casualties and massive damage especially from a volcano which was dormant for thousands of years. Because most of the Gods were severely wounded by Bi-Han before the first tourney, then slain by Shinnok about a few years ago, the realm was imbalanced. So, Liu decided to use the main cauldron to relieve geothermal pressure, as well as the eternal flame in Raiden's gravesite.

Several years later[]

The Special Forces were reforged; Cassie, Jacqui, Takeda and Jin also joined their ranks. Allies of Edenia and Outworld still join the cause as they fight off Kotal's forces and prepare for a new Mortal Kombat!

On that day ffvi

April 14th, 2008 (Aiko's dystopian future)[]

After young Aiko left the Kombatants in 1992... Events of MK9 and X take place.

It was as if history restarted, erasing memories of the previous gatherings at the secretive mountain base; all excepting Aiko had forgotten... There was still the first and second tourneys, although Johnny was a lot more brash and immature as was Kung Lao with more foolheartedness, Raiden has constantly been bombarded by false visions by the Elder Gods, Shao Kahn survived via cauterization thus Quan's different resurrection of Sindel and her empowerment, as well as nearly everyone becoming Revenants. Only for Shinnok and Quan to have the upper hand.

Little did everyone knew, it was Kronika possessing Dark Raiden with the sinister message, He must win...! allowing Kahn to be decimated by the Elder Gods, severing Liu from Raiden along with several others, and leaving Earthrealm vulnerable to her son's uprising and Outworld still in shambles and being involved in its civil war...

The Earthrealm revenant invasion began as Aiko was involuntarily relocated and joined a refugee camp. At first, she saw a random newsbreak of a zombie invasion, though she brushed it off as some kind of prank. That was until she became a refugee. She soon recognized her former friends as Revenants led by Shinnok and Quan Chi. Aiko beheld her guardian and leader of the refugee camp killed for ransom for the sanctuary and its resources. She found a defective automobile and charged it into the horde, then she was abruptly sent back 16 years by an unknown force escaping from her destroyed life.

Events of MK11 take place.

Several days later, timelines clashed as Kronika set out for vengeance after Raiden became corrupt and beheaded Shinnok. Fire God Liu Kang was forged using Liu's incapacitated past vessel, his Revenant form and Raiden!

Back to the past...[]

Mortal_Kombat_11-_Fire_God_Liu_Kang_(Story_Mode)_+_Good_Ending

Mortal Kombat 11- Fire God Liu Kang (Story Mode) + Good Ending

Liutana golden moment

They defeated Kronika despite her transporting them to the Prehistoric Age. Raiden denounced Liu as the new Protector of Earthrealm, reunited with Kitana, and returned to the dawn of time for his New Era.

After that, the pair was interrupted by Shang with Nightwolf and Fujin in tow that he must attain the Krown before the universe would destroy itself if he should wield the Hourglass.

Events of Aftermath take place, with Kitana being unaffected by the many anomalies. Upon defeating Shang and obtaining the Krown, Liu watched the deaths of his friends and went back to the same pinpoint before the time crises. He was exhausted after the successful battle, and he had an unknown cause... Liu weakly stated that she must wake him up if the realms should be created.

Anxious to help him recover, Kitana put on the Krown and sped up time till Edenia was restored as it appeared within the Hourglass. She failed to mention to him of the war between the One Being and the Elder Gods...

Edenia was reformed and she dragged Liu in it; she was lucky she called for help and the denizens assisted them as they carried the comatose God into the Palace. He soon recovered gradually and grew attached to the regal, peaceful realm; it was hard for him and Kitana to hide their astonishment they saw the monarchs Sindel and Jerrod, even though Kitana wasn't born yet. Aware of the many threats, they protected the realm from Kahn in Mortal Kombat; he wiped out the Emperor seamlessly and his strength was restored as he and Kitana were being worshipped. Argus congratulated the Champion and escorted him to the heavens where he met the Elder Gods for the first time. With his help and a new member joining the pantheon ranks they went by his request making Kitana a goddess! After that, they began to settle both in the kingdom and eventually had some intimacy back at the Chaotian Age. He went forward and was confident enough to train the Great Kung Lao (Aftermath's good ending). Unfortunately, while Lao won over Shang, then 50 years later Jen passed by natural causes, then Lao won over Goro, his wounds were too great and succumbed to the point on passing away...

By that Achilles heel and greatly ashamed of his failure, Liu went back in time and started over. He soon made his and Kitana's new home at Yin Yang Island, to keep away from history and they made disguises for themselves... He then just watched his allies and the realms be reborn before sending Aiko and Baraka back to the past, then they observed over the past events till Armageddon.

To 1996 again...[]

Several weeks later after Armageddon passed, the elders Liu and Kitana enlisted Caro as the new Keeper of Time; he was chosen as the guardian of the Hourglass and Yin Yang Island while the time-hoppers are away. Liu trained Caro vigorously, even using his own Dragon Animality. He even staunched his aging with his chronokinesis due to his eons wasted watching over the inanimate Daegon and suffering thru his enslavement.

August 11, 1996[]

Eventually, the Edenians noticed of Kitana's ailments and soon came to the conclusion that she became pregnant! Several months later, Liu constantly monitored over her while Caro watched over the Hourglass and isle. He soon became lonely and conjured up a portal missing Aiko. As a tropical storm was picking up, Caro gave each other shelter, and he recapped Liu and Kitana's past as they tried and failed to reconstruct time. By the time his tale ended, Kitana arrived presenting Aiko and Caro her new baby demigod, Cheung Kang! She and Liu had never been more content since their union! They had honored Caro as a guardian once more to both the Hourglass and Cheung!

August 25, 2024 (Mortal Kombat 1 (2023))[]

Liu's and Aiko's new pet dragon egg was retrieved; he attained one from an old man high within the mountains who seemed knowledgeable of dragons. And a day later by 3pm, the egg began to move then eventually hatch into a baby red male dragon. They'd decided to name it Caro. He cried for his parents and since then they've vowed to raise it as their newborn, and Aiko has made a baby journal for him.

Trivia[]

  • Ikran has made a timeline before involving F-Zero by merging the 2 continuities together. The same thing she's doing here with bits and pieces of other media such as Enter the Dragon and Big Trouble in Little China, along with some Chinese history, to spice things up.
  • She always wanted the two plots to exist in the same universe as MK, although the DC universe was taken out since she's not a fan.
  • Most of the intel was inspired by The4thSnake's A Line through Time centering on Mortal Kombat. Including the ages of MK characters.
    • Ikran actually stopped following him because of his snobbishness as she was defending a smaller guy for hating MK1.
  • Some of the birth info can be found here, the bios in The Journey Begins, and also a few more sources can be found in the prequel komic of MK1. Another source would be MK Temple's vids of the MK History which helped her tremendously in her stories.
  • There were a few plot holes in Deception's Konquest, such as Mileena asking Shujinko to let the Lei Chen city surrender, before the 1st tournament came to be, although this would've happened before MK2, her debut. Because of the confusion, Mileena made the offer as Shaolin Monks took place, while his Konquest soon followed up till The Return of the Dragon King.
    • Scorpion having his vengeance on Quan Chi didn't happen during Shujinko's journey, not even when he returned to the Netherrealm to regain his taint; Hanzo never found out on Quan slaughtering his family and clan until Shinnok's Uprising.
  • April 14th was the date that MKX was released and showcased Aiko's dystopian future; the cause of her sudden reversal in time, along with Baraka's, was unveiled it was Fire God Liu Kang! The elder Liu Kang and Kitana still live on... 2008 was made up, as Ikran didn't want to wait till 2015.
  • She didn't want to wait a couple years for MK11 to take place after MKX, so she made it several days; events at the start of MK11 seemed fresh from MKX due to the attacks onto the Netherrealm and Dark Raiden's threats.
  • The idea of the elder Liu Kang and Kitana time hopping was roughly inspired by the older Stewie Griffin as travelling thru time as a sort of "vacation" stated in Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, particularly Act 3. It's also possible that the events of EVO took place with both timekeepers.
  • Contrary to MK 2023 and its multiple timelines with the asinine MCU climax, this originally had 1, but courtesy of the Unaliving War, there is currently just 2 timelines; one was corrupt due to Liu Kang looking for Raiden in the Injustice universe and Darkseid corroding him into evil thus his revenge on him and the Elder Gods.
  • This was just made out of nostalgia, longing for the past eras before NRS' inception and when the business/creative sides worked together. However, since the real spoony bard, Edward Boon, greenlit the series after Tobias' departure, along with Dominic's and Woker Bros' meddling, it can also be above all made out of deep resentment and spite!
    • When 11 and the "New Era" was a thing... she officially decided to make her own "New Era" making things her own way, or the highway, thus this Khronology where Kombatants are treated fairly rather than with Woker Bros' and NRS' never-ending neglect!
    • On that note there shall be no elements added from those failed experiments from the Sonic '06 of Mortal Kombat, MK 2023! No exceptions!!

Kombatant Themes[]

These are the Kombatant themes handpicked by TheIkranRider, in which most of them are her favorite songs and she feels it fits them perfectly, whether couple songs or otherwise. There were a variety of genres to choose from, whether it'd be oldies, soundtracks, pop songs, etc.
